I recently stayed at the Zafolia Hotel during a convention. The rooms were simple, but clean and the group rate we were given couldn't be beat. The staff was very helpful and the lobby and rooftop were great places to gather and meet others and to access the wi-fi. Only the rooftop and lobby have free wi-fi - in room...

- Very helpful team at the reception. - clean and well maintained rooms although could be refurbished (need brighter colors only) - you have a Carrefour mini-market right across the street (allowed us to buy snacks & beverages for a quick light dinner snack in the room). - hotel isn't in the central touristic area so all shops & restaurants/cafes...

The hotel is in a great location; it's within walking distance to several museums, attractions and quaint restaurants. The Hotel Staff is friendly, cheerful and helpful and will take the time to go over what/where you want to do/see with a map at the front desk and you are confidently sent on your way to your sightseeing. Rooms are clean...

We only had two full days in Athens and this hotel was well placed for what we wanted to see and do. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff couldn't do enough for us when we needed advice on local attractions and transport. Breakfast was delicious and widely varied. Definitely go back there.

Nice hotel. Great rooftop bar and view, they let you stay up there pretty late. Friendly staff. Breakfast buffet breakfast was a normal continental breakfast, ok. It is located close to the metro and quick cab ride away to nearby squares. Would stay here again. They provide a shuttle from the airport but I find a cab to be cheaper...

We stayed here with many friends from a number of countries to attend a convention and we were pleasantly surprised at the professional service from staff at reception, room service, breakfast and rooftop pool deck. Dealing with a large tour group can test a hotel's capabilities on many levels, but Zafolia met this challenge with quiet confidence. Our room was...

My husband and I stayed here for a week. The staff was all very helpful. The room was simple but clean. A word of warning, you can't flush the toilet paper. There are a lot of places in Greece where you can't. But I have to say I never thought our bathroom stunk. The breakfast in the morning was okay....

Our Globus tour used this hotel for their base in Athens before leaving on a tour of mainland Greece so we stayed two nights here. The difference really is the staff which is first class, attentive, and helpful in every way. The room was average but clean. The breakfast buffet was ok but nothing great. We had a light dinner...

The members of staff are what make this hotel. Everyone we dealt with was so kind and very professional; we had a child with us and, for example, Spyros was really good at ensuring we got the lift to our room (even when there was a bit of a queue during check-in times). The cleanliness was second to none i.e...

Smart hotel..ideally situated for travel around the City on the excellent Metro system. Out of the tourist procession..but near enough. Got to agree with earlier revue about 'none smoking rooms..' our room/linen smelled of smoke, which was very annoying. This was the only negative for an otherwise lovely stay
