From cruise port, 17-25 euro taxi to Hotel. Hotel is centrally located we were able to walk to all tourist spots including Acropolis, a must visit. A bit of a walk to restaurant precinct. Titania Hotel provided a comfortable room with hot shower, good air conditioning, and a good breakfast. Their roof top deck Olive Tree restaurant provided happy hour... More

We stayed here in September 2015. The hotel is big and clean and comfortable. The location is fantastic as it is walking distance to everything. Kollonaki, Monastiraki, Acropolis, Ermou, Syntagma... The only downside was that my mothers room smelt very very bad, like a sewage pipe had broken in there but we dont know what the cause was... so bad... More

The hotel seems to be in desperate need for a renovation. The rooms were not bad and reasonably clean, thankfully with hardwood floors and no carpet, but the hallways are adorned with an awful red carpet that is in need of more frequent vacuuming. Breakfast buffet was nice and quite rich though the coffee is very weak. Greatest problem of... More

Titania has a great lobby and fine restaurant in lobby, but the interior of this hotel needs updating, new carpet, new furniture and needs showers rather than bathtub as options. We stayed here 4 different times over a month, flying in and out of Athens to islands, and this was the least of all hotels, with no internet in rooms,... More

Located near Omonia, more of a business district, no nightlife nearby and scary to walk around after dark. So, poor location. The hotel amenities are OK but definitely not worth the price we paid. Booking directly through the hotel website, we got a high rate for the one night that we stayed there although all the nights before and after... More

This is a package tour type hotel with a large amount of roup tours overninghting so it is always extremely busy i the lobby and in the breakfast area in the mornin. The rooms are adequate and the air con is good. The staff are professional. The area in hich the hotel is located is convenient and there are some... More

I stayed at this hotel for two nights while attending a conference there. This hotel does not deserve its 4 star status: Furniture in bedroom shabby, mattress way to soft. Bathroom needs make-over, particularly the ceiling. No free wi-fi in rooms (lobby only). Extensive breakfast but venue to small- difficult to find a place during peak times and the moment... More

We were recommended to this hotel and could of chosen a hotel much closer to Syntagma and a lot nicer! Main foyer was beautiful and luxurious but once we got to our room, we were very disappointed. Firstly rooms need updating and looked run down, air-conditioning worked in one of the connecting rooms and not the other after several requests... More

I attended an international conference at Titania Hotel and can only comment on the meeting and dining facilities. I had a very good experience here. The staff members were friendly, the conference rooms were well equipped, and the hotel is in a location convenient for shopping, eating, and touring.

Staying in Omonia

Neighborhood Profile
Omonia
Omonia Square is as plain in appearance as Syntagma is grand. Surrounded largely by functional blocks from the 1950s and 60s and no longer boasting its underground stalls, the square is now mostly frequented by immigrants and bargain shoppers. The most rewarding area to explore is to the south. Set off down Athinas Street, with the Acropolis gradually coming into focus in the distance, and you will get a sense of old commercial Athens, especially at the picturesque meat, fish and vegetable markets some way beyond the City Hall. The blocks to the west of Athinas are home to many Chinese and South Asian traders, adding a multicultural atmosphere to what was until the late 1990s a very homogenous society.
