Nice hotel on a good location. Walking distance from all the major historic attractions and down town restaurants. Very nice roof top restaurant at the hotel with a splendid view over Acropolis. Some construction work at the hotel made some terrible noise, even on Saturday and Sunday, but of course good that the hotel is renovating.

Wonderful time at this hotel and I would absolutely go again. Here is the short and skinny: Service: Great; will print your boarding passes at the desk so you don't get charged in the business center. Helpful with "places to go" suggestions. Will hold your luggage before and after your stay if you need them to. 5 of 5 for...

Titania Hotel is large and one of the highest rated hotels in athens, greece. i found it to be very expensive for what they offered. the breakfast offerings were good and plentiful, but the rest was meager: room cleaning service was very slow and didn't happen until quite late in the day. prices in the restaurant and coffee shop were...

The hotel is not bad for short stay. Location is the best part of the hotel. Unfortunately the rooms we stayed twice had no views. Lifts were bad. Good staff. Good buffet breakfast. Saddest part is there is no free wifi in the rooms that is the most critical part of anyone's stay. Every time you have to rush to...

Staying in Omonia

Neighborhood Profile
Omonia
Omonia Square is as plain in appearance as Syntagma is grand. Surrounded largely by functional blocks from the 1950s and 60s and no longer boasting its underground stalls, the square is now mostly frequented by immigrants and bargain shoppers. The most rewarding area to explore is to the south. Set off down Athinas Street, with the Acropolis gradually coming into focus in the distance, and you will get a sense of old commercial Athens, especially at the picturesque meat, fish and vegetable markets some way beyond the City Hall. The blocks to the west of Athinas are home to many Chinese and South Asian traders, adding a multicultural atmosphere to what was until the late 1990s a very homogenous society.
