Sat for about 2 hours having drinks. The rooftop has amazing views. Prices were midrange although service was at times a little slow. There was not an abundance of seating on the rooftop so would go earlier in the day to avoid disappointment.

This is a nice hotel in the central part of Athens next to a very popular square and the metro. The front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and nicely finished. The bathroom is large and shower was great! The rooftop bar is very popular in the evening with a great view of the Acropolis.

We booked this hotel online not really knowing what to expect because the pictures are usually better than the actual hotel but when we arrived....WOW. Hotel has only six floors and we got Room 42 on the fourth floor. When we opened the curtains we had the most amazing view of the Acropolis/Parthenon. Not to mention the hotel was centrally... More

Firstly, it has to be said that this hotel is in THE most amazing spot for the acropolis and other ancient attractions. We arrived for a very short one night stay and were upgraded to room 53. This is without a shadow of a doubt the best room in the hotel. 5th floor, with a large wraparound balcony directly looking... More

The location was perfect, right in the middle of Monastiraki square. Bathroom was slightly on the narrow side. Complimentary wine in the evening was a good finish to our Greece trip. Subway station was right next door. We were right below the roof top bar so there was noise from chairs/tables but we were pretty tired to care. The bar... More

Excellent views of Acropolis and Monastiraki Square, ideal for a coctail or a snack & a coffee, superb spot and wonderful service. The top balcony with the decking is the place to go. Visit ideally just before dark so you have a chance to enjoy the views both with day light as well as when it get dark.

This is an extremely nicely decorated hotel with great views. so we happily went out for a meal and then went to bed. Big mistake! Fancy thinking that a hotel is a place to rest and sleep. I suppose if we wanted to play musical chairs all night scraping the chairs on the floors in time with the bar on... More

Great service, clean spacious room in the central heart of Athens. Large sized shower/ bathroom and kitchenette. Definitely recommend. Clean and comfy beds. Stunning views from cocktail bar and roof top tables for breakfast and lunch.

The hotel is quite nice, clean and has comfortable beds. Breakfast was fine, too. But it is nothing for people with a light sleep. The windows do not close completely and everything going on on Monastiraki can be heard, loudly and clearly: every car passing by, the music and people on the streets. During our stay, there were some people... More

Staying in Psirri / Gazi

Neighborhood Profile
Psirri / Gazi
Side-by-side neighborhoods Psirri and Gazi provide some of the city’s prime nightlife. The almost claustrophobic streets of Psirri feature an interesting blend of original small businesses with the restaurants, cafés and bars that have recently sprouted up. The central artery of Agion Anargiron Street has lively places to eat or drink. Further west, you can visit the peaceful ancient cemetery of Keramikos, then cross busy Pireos Street to find yourself in Gazi. With the huge Technopolis performance and art complex converted from old gasworks at its heart, you really have to come at night to appreciate this maze of bars at its best, although a daytime stroll will allow you to admire the excellent street art.
