We were there on our way to Psiri and thought of having a drink on the top. We ended up staying there until 4 in the morning! A breathtaking view of Athens by night, very nice drinks with a bit too slow service. All in all very nice experience and definitely to be recommended.

We stayed here about 4 nights and we were almost desperate enough to leave in the middle of the night. Not sure where all of the great reviews are coming from. Yes, this is a nice hotel with a great location and polite staff but that is unfortunately trumped by the noise pollution. The windows in this hotel are paper... More

Just stayed here for the second time this month & I have to say, it's a great hotel. This hotel is very central to everything a person would want to be near on a holiday in Athens or a night before going out to an island. And the hotel staff were extremely helpful, gave great travel / restuarant advice. Rooms... More

The hotel was easy to find, right in Monastiraki Square. The subway was on strike the week we visited (to and from the airport), so we had to take the bus in from the airport to Syntagma Square then down to the subway, one stop, to Monastiraki. The room was very clean, the air conditioning worked great and the breakfast... More

Easy to find hotel. Stand in Monastiraki Square and look in the opposite direction of the Acropolis and there it is! Room was clean, air conditioning worked wonderfully, huge bathroom with lots of hot water and towels and our room had an amazing view of the Acropolis. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was really good and staff was friendly. No... More

This hotel was great with a great location. You are across the street from Monastiraki Square which has some shops and cafes. You are also close to the Acropolis, walking distance to Syntagma Square and Ermou street which has a lot of designer shops. The hotel room was very clean and modern. It was a nice size for two people.... More

The hotel is in an excellent location to tour Athens, you can literally walk to anything. The front desk is extremely helpful with anything you need or any questions you have about the area, restaurants, taxis, etc. We got to the hotel early and they let us go ahead and check in which was lovely. The room was perfect, clean... More

As soon as we got there they upgraded our room to one with an Acropolis view and we didn't even ask! I so highly suggest asking about this in advance as the view was incredible - you see all the bustle of Monstriaki Square and the Acropolis. I found all the white noise of the city perfect I slept fabulously... More

Its a great place to see all of athens at once especially the acropolis. Come at sunset and you will definitely feel good but can be very crowded especially for group which are advised to book in advance. Staff members very nice and helpful along with nice music

Staying in Psirri / Gazi

Neighborhood Profile
Psirri / Gazi
Side-by-side neighborhoods Psirri and Gazi provide some of the city’s prime nightlife. The almost claustrophobic streets of Psirri feature an interesting blend of original small businesses with the restaurants, cafés and bars that have recently sprouted up. The central artery of Agion Anargiron Street has lively places to eat or drink. Further west, you can visit the peaceful ancient cemetery of Keramikos, then cross busy Pireos Street to find yourself in Gazi. With the huge Technopolis performance and art complex converted from old gasworks at its heart, you really have to come at night to appreciate this maze of bars at its best, although a daytime stroll will allow you to admire the excellent street art.
