We had an amazing night at this hotel in Athens. It is a beautiful and clean hotel. It is within walking distance to many attractions. The staff is beyond welcoming. The breakfast that was included in our package was delicious and had many options. I would definitely recommend!
after having a positive covid test, the management (mr VANGELIS MICHALOUDIS) & entire staff stepped up & REALLY took care of us. each time i spoke with him, his first question was how we were doing. he took over our situation with information & contacts on how to navigate the illness. THANK YOU VANGELIS!
We had dinner at the hotel’s rooftop restaurant. The view was incredible and the music and vibe was very sexy and chill. The staff was professional. I personally had their version of a Greek salad that was awesome! I have never had tomatoes that sweet. I have been raving about the salad with my friends all week. The food and service was very good. I will definitely return next time I visit Athens.
First, a few minor issues. Bathroom layouts are a bit unusual; hallways are very dark; street in front of hotel very noisy but rooms are well insulated. But the pluses are many. Interesting and attractive modern design (The Parthenon was not a model.) Terrific location - an easy walk to the Acropolis, Plaka, Syntagma, etc. Many great restaurants in the Plaka (we ate at most of them.) Rooms were small but comfortable. Hotel was extremely clean and conscientiously maintained. Lovely roof top restaurant and bar with great views of the city. And above all a terrific complement of smart, friendly and energetic staff who were as good as it gets. We have stayed at many great hotels around the world. I sincerely recommend this one
5 stars Great modern, art design hotel. Extremely clean with wonderful staff. Spent one night as a last minute booking. Booked directly! Staff were so accommodating and the room was perfect. Clean, spacious on the first floor. Art design hotel with lots of wonderful design aspects. Really appreciated this as an interior stylist and Airbnb Superhost! Great vibe in rooftop bar overlooking Lycabyttos Hill. Breakfast was great. As a celiac it’s hard to find good options but they made me an omelette with smoked salmon and avocado gluten free toast! Downstairs Gym and spa and massage facilities looked great although I didn’t get a chance to use them but definitely on my next visit. Totally recommended this great hotel that’s centrally located.
Sleek and funky hotel close to subway and shops with nice breakfast buffet assortment. Nice little balcony also. Only negative was the view .. directly facing apartment building next door. Would stay here again.
Staff was really good and the hotel was located in an excellent area. I wouldn’t say it’s a luxury hotel but it is adequate and the staff are very friendly, which goes a long way. Gym is decent and their breakfast was good. Overall a nice stay in a good hotel
We have just returned from an enjoyable 4 night stay at the NEW Hotel. We arrived in the early hours of the morning after a late flight but were greeted by a friendly receptionist who took the time to explain all the information we would need to settle into our room. The room was small but adequate for a short stay. It was designed to accommodate the limited space fairly well with a decent wardrobe and drawers, TV and toiletries daily with fresh towels if required. The one thing I would mention is bathroom has a toilet and shower unit inside with the wash-hand basin outside (which was the first thing you see as you enter the room). The bathroom door is designed to use for closing off the shower also, which leaves the bathroom with an open door whilst showering – just worth a mention. The shower was lovely, very hot and powerful. I had noticed that Tea & Coffee facilities were not standard and requested that this would be available and was advised it would be in the room on arrival. It wasn’t and I had to request it again the next day. I got a kettle and plenty fruit/herbal t-bags but no coffee and no milk for the English Breakfast tea. There were some USB slots and sockets but not all located where I’d say for us was handy, a bit unusal in the current day and age when everyone needs to charge equipment daily, but we managed. The only main facility we used was the Gym which you book and get a swipe key to access. It is a small gym but it is clean and has sufficient equipment in my opinion as it was hardly used while I was there. We spent our days exploring and the hotel is very central for all facilities like bars and restaurants, shops and attractions. Overall a good stay, I can recommend and would stay again but can only justify a 4 star report as there was nothing ‘special’.…
For starters, fantastic location. Minutes walking distance from Syntagma station for easy metro access to city and airport and super easy 5-10 min walk to the heart of the tourist attractions and South Acropolis entrance. But also on the edges of the heart of Plaka and within easy walking to downtown areas. For a small boutique hotel, the service was fantastic. Very well trained team here. From front desk staff, to doormen, to F&B staff and housekeeping. All friendly, professional and do have attention to detail. Rooms were a surprise, usually design hotels are form over function. Surprisingly this one has a lot of functionality built into the design and it actually works. The pillows here are also super great. Yes, window noise insulation not so great, but that did not bother me too much. Great rooftop bar with nice angled views of the Acropolis. Over all would recommend as a nice comfortable base in Athens.…
Nice hotel, interesting furniture, welcoming service. However, very poorly isolated windows. Impossible to sleep through the night (even on a weekend). Also, having some possibility in the room to have a tea or coffee (without ordering) would be nice.
