Great location to explore Athens, plus rooftop bar. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are modern and bed was very comfortable! The bathroom was a bit quirky how the shower door/toilet were tight fit. We had a nice view of church from our room.
While the location of this hotel is great and the staff very nice, a hotel must be judged by the ability to stay and sleep comfortably. This hotel does not create a quiet environment for sleeping or relaxing. My room was on the 6th floor. The street noise, even at this level, was very loud, the loudest of any hotel I’ve ever stayed, but this was not the primary noise disturbance and not the reason for a 1-star review. Playing white noise could eliminate most of the street noise disturbances. The hotel also provides ear plugs. What neither the white noise nor the ear plugs could eliminate was the very loud bass/dance party music coming from the lounge above on floor 7. The walls shook from the beats of the bass. Nothing could dampen the disturbance from the loud beats, it was impossible to focus or sleep. After trying for over an hour to get to sleep, I decided to report the noise to the reception after 11PM. After my noise complaint, there was no follow-up and no attempt to even try and remedy the disturbance. The loud bass continued. For this lack of response to a request to lower noise so guests could sleep, this hotel gets 1-star.…
Great hotel Amazing stuff Very clean Close to the Center Great rooftop with beautiful view of the akropolis🙏🙏 The room is big enough but it’s very noisy if the window is open. If we will come back to Athens we will go there again Avi Morgenstern
Location was top notch! Staff was really nice and friendly. Room had bottled water nor coffee making facilities. I caught stomach upset from drinking tap water. Had a decent room but it was so noisy. Woken up by noises on the streets a few times past midnights during my stay.
Well its been a while since, as a family of 5, we have visited this property (for COVID reasons). Not much has changed. Friendlier staff you wont find, great position. Good rooms and notwithstanding the passage of time they hold up well, remembering we have been coming here for 10 or so years. I will continue visiting this place. Its like a second home. Well priced also.
Loved this hotel. Very charming and unique. Much of the furniture and decor is made from bits and pieces of the original hotel! They have reused wooden pieces of old furniture to make new avant garde furniture and wall decor. It's very clean, and the staff was lovely and helpful, every one of them. Our rooms were not large, but very comfortable and quiet with plenty of accessible outlets and USB ports and conveniences. We had dinner there in the beautiful rooftop restaurant looking out at stunning views of Athens, and the food was excellent. The whole experience was great, and the price was right. And the location can't be beat!
The hotel is in a good central location and the rooms are pleasant. My key issue was the hotel held a private party in the rooftop bar that went on until c02:30 which was incredibly loud and disrupted many guest’s sleep. Had the hotel informed us ahead of this then we would have changed our booking. Disappointingly, the hotel chose the interests of the party ahead of its guests.
Nestled in the centre of Athens, this is a convenient location for the sights, restaurants and transportation. We chose a superior plus room which had a balcony facing onto the church. The room was clean and had good amenities. Although not part of the room originally a coffee machine was installed. In fact the management checked via email about our initial views of the hotel and responded almost immediately to our comment about the lack of coffee making. The sleep quality is excellent. The design is modern. EiFi is free and fast. TV channels offer English language news. Food is very good. Breakfast is extensive being both a cold buffet and hot dishes. Some of the latter incur extra payment as they not included in the breakfast charge. However the inclusive hot options include standard fried, scrambled etc dishes with sausage, bacon tomato etc. the cold array has different cheeses from Greece and meats. Yoghurt is wonderful while fruits are fresh. The top floor restaurant offers lunch and dinner with brunch at weekend. The view incorporates the Acropolis. If chilly heaters are brought to the table side. The menu offers a good selection. Service was definitely a highlight. Everyone was helpful and were keen to be of service…
Stayed there during a business trip in Athens. The hotel is conveniently situated near Syntagma Square. Decoration & interior design is beyond conventional adding a lot to the impression you get as soon as you enter. Very satisfied with the service provided and all staff is very helpful and polite. Room was very comfy, well equipped and very clean. Thank you guys!
I would definitely stay here again. A short walk from Syntagma Square, which is a main metro stop, across from Parliament, and the top of the main pedestrian shopping street. Very nice room with room-darkening blinds. Even though we did not previously arrange, they were fine with us arriving early and checking out late.
