You can't beat the location of this hotel, but pool is small and crowded and the breakfasts need improving. Fresh orange juice (instead of water-downed orange aid) and real scrambled eggs (instead of powdered eggs) would help a lot.

This hotel can differ greatly depending on the room you are given. I got stuck in the back on the first level looking out to a construction area after waiting 20 minutes in the lobby for them to clean the room at 4pm. I asked if another room was available and they stuck me in a similar room. There have... More

i really enjoyed the pool and the view. At night we went in the rooftop and it was even more amazing. Very good rooms and good sleep. Our room was in the back so no noise from the street. I wouldn't say it felt like a 5 star hotel but it was good value for money

The best view of Athens you can get, with a very good restaurant with even a better view. Excellent staff ond the room standard is good, but not more. And for us, most important since we live in Greece,. they have a garage to stow away your car.

I stayed there in October'2014. The room with view to Acropolis was nice: clean, not so small. But I could heard what my neighbours spoke about - so thin walls. The bathroom was even shining)) Breakfasts were very-very delicious and various. All staff was friendly and helpful. Mostly I enjoyed there. But honestly, I think the quality of this hotel's... The pool area was extremely nice! With a perfect view of the acropolis. Very beautiful. The same holds true for all the balconies I have seen during my stay. We also got a newly renovated room which was very nice, however all the rooms of my friends for the same price were extremely old in their look and feel.

We went to this hotel in august 2016. The hotel itself is good, but not the 5* standard I am used to in europe. But the rooms are clean and big enough, although the shower does not work properly and the equipment in the bathroom is way to old. The great thing is breakfast at the 6th floor and the... More

Christina who is a therapist in the spa was by far the best part of my stay. She was exceptionaly pleasant and profided me with the best spa experience I have ever had. The hotel and rooftop pool are always nice. But the view is outstanding.

The hotel is located on the foot of the Lycabettus hill. The view from the hill and from the pool-area and the bar on the 7:th flor is magnificent. If you book a room in this hotel, spend the extra money for the balcony (room 504). The view over the city and Acropolis is splendid. The beds are very good.... More

Staying in Kolonaki / Lykavittos

Neighborhood Profile
Kolonaki / Lykavittos
By far the ritziest neighborhood in town, Kolonaki is home to most of the chic boutiques and designer label stores. Here, the wealthy say no to austerity by dressing in their finest and spending hours in the trendy cafés around Kolonaki Square, sipping the most expensive coffee in Europe. The area also contains a couple of notable museums and cultural institutions, which add to the air of nobility. The leafy upper reaches of Kolonaki transition into Lykavittos Hill, the highest point in central Athens. Climb the paths through its wooded slopes to the tiny chapel at the top, from where you are rewarded with stunning views across the Acropolis to the sea and even the mountains of the Peloponnese on a clear day. The wooden amphitheater up here hosts regular concerts during the summer.
