Nestled in the heart of the city, Athens Capital Center Hotel - MGallery Collection is a beacon of modern sophistication, admired by guests for its sleek design and panoramic rooftop views. The hotel's prime location offers unparalleled access to nearby attractions, dining, and shopping. While some guests mention the rooms are on the smaller side, the comfort and modern amenities within them are widely applauded. The hotel's amenities are well-regarded, though the seasonal pool closure and the cost of breakfast have been noted as drawbacks. Service at the hotel is generally celebrated for its warmth and efficiency, yet there are suggestions for enhancements such as a digital concierge service. Despite the higher price point, many visitors feel the hotel provides good value, particularly highlighting the impeccable cleanliness of both rooms and communal areas.

It was a pleasure staying in this hotel. I have stayed in many hotels and am usually shocked by the poor design and inefficiency of the rooms. Most rooms seem to be designed by people who don't actually stay in hotels.

My room should be the standard to which other hotels should aspire.
There were plenty of power outlets all around the room, the air conditioning worked well as did the wifi, the television is the largest I have seen in a standard room, the room was well sound proofed and the bathroom was functional.
There was also the option of having a very well lit room/bathroom or dimming the lights. I hate being in a hotel room where there is not even enough light to read a book!
With the blackout shutter down the room was completely dark (with no annoying LED lights flashing!) but if you stepped out of bed, floor night lights came on automatically.

The only criticism I have is regarding the telephone. A hotel phone should be easy to use. If I had a heart attack in this room I would have been dead before I worked out how to reach someone!
It is clear the phone was chosen by a young person (who does not wear glasses) who was more interested in design than function.
The phone should be easy enough for my 87 year old mother to use. It is not.
This one needs a university degree and someone with excellent eye sight to read the writing next to the buttons.

The hotel staff were all outstanding. They could not do enough and always with a smile.
The cleaning and attention to detail in the room was also excellent.
I contrast this with the hotel my sister is staying in now at Portland Oregon where no room cleaning is available 'due to covid'. Surely this is the time the rooms should be cleaned even more thoroughly. This hotel could not be faulted in that regard.

Housekeeping rang me each evening to offer service. The first night I asked for some extra bath towels. Every day from then on, after cleaning, they left me extra towels.

Last night I was going to eat in the lobby coffee shop. I sat down but then changed my mind and decided to go out for dinner. The waiter asked me if I wanted a glass of water before I left.
That is service.

This standard of excellent service and attention to detail comes from the top.
I congratulate the General Manager and all the staff.

Athens Capital Center Hotel - MGallery Collection is a super choice for a stay in Athens. The hotel is new, modern, spotlessly clean with first class facilities and helpful, happy staff.

Our room was on the 6th Floor and faced the street (there was no noise disturbance) and had all the amenities you need, including a coffee machine, mini bar, and full sized locally produced shower/hair shampoo and body lotion. We had a deluxe room and housekeeping were efficient and unobtrusive.

There is a lovely pool on the 10th floor with great views of the Acropolis and plenty of pool towels. You can order coffee/cocktails from your sunbed or a dine at one of the tables. We always managed to get a sunbed, but I imagine in the height of summer this may be a problem.

The staff were all very friendly and eager to please. The front desk staff helped us with restaurant suggestions and also where to get our PCR tests from. We had a couple of minor issues with the room and these were sorted out without a fuss.

The hotel is situated a short walk from Syntagma Square Metro, which links directly to Athens International Airport. It is close to great shops and within walking distance of the amazing historical sights of Athens. Perfect base to explore the sights and enjoy the Greek hospitality.

Fantastic luxury boutique hotel experience. We had 2 Deluxe Rooms and loved the chic design, with stylish modern touches. The rooms were street facing but perfectly soundproofed so we couldn’t hear any noise from the busy thoroughfare below. The location in the heart of Athens is perfect for sightseeing and dining out, with most things within easy walking distance and with a handy metro station across the street. We loved the breakfast, a good quality selection. We always favour quality over quantity for hotel breakfasts and this one really delivered. The waiters were very attentive, with coffee arriving promptly. The pool is Insta fabulous and you will be using it a lot in the hot summer months. A big negative is the Lord of the Flies situation in relation to the extremely limited pool chairs and it would be nice if the hotel could work out a fair solution so all guests can be accommodated poolside, not just the most pushy. The pool temperature was also a little too cold for our liking and some heating to a slightly more pleasant temperature would be most welcome. The pool top bar was great and the bartender was super friendly and accomodating. Definitely do dinner on the rooftop. The view of Athens at night is incredible. We felt the staff were all very eager to please and anticipate our request. Overall an excellent MGallery experience and we will definitely be back next time we come to Athens.

Dear Arms06, It was a pleasure to have had you with us. Thank you so much for this wonderful review and rating. We are thrilled to read you have enjoyed our design, location and especially our breakfast buffet options and service. Please rest assured that I will pass on your kind words to the Team as it is the fuel that inspires them to work as hard as they do. Furthermore, we are sorry to hear that you may not have fully enjoyed your time at our pool due to the lack of sunbeds. In order to secure sun bed availability for every one of our guests, our pool Team does instruct our guest not to leave their belongings unattended for an extended period of time and furthermore, there is signage requesting that our guests do not leave their personal belongings as a means of reserving a sun bed. We do however understand your disappointment and I can personally assure you that I will discuss your feedback with our Team once again in an effort to improve the services we provide. Arms06, thank you again for your review and rating. We look forward to welcoming you back again, soon. Best regards, Evripides Tzikas General Manager

Pros : Beautifully appointed hotel with great room with technologically advanced settings ( lights, temperature etc .

Great location close to all the key points of interest.

Cons: Terrible terrible service , from the guy who carried our luggage that treated our taxi driver like dirt, all the way to management who handed perfumed soaps to my partner who slipped in the very slippery marble bathroom floor and hurt himself badly . He handed us this oddest of gifts I guess to appease us so that we don’t sue or complain .

Room was never turned down for the evening and was at times left with little trash after the morning cleaning . See photo.

Breakfast is the worst . Selection is terrible , no provision for food intolerances . I m gluten intolerant and had to ask 3 times for two pitiful slices of gf bread that arrived 30 mins later . Asked for honey and juice never came. Staff was inefficient , unfriendly and disorganized . Breakfast is a big no no there .

All in all you may save some money but do yourself a favor and book a room at King George or the Grande Bretagne if you want a truly beautiful experience

Been a Diamond member means I am fan boy I guess of the Group ,so know surprise on my first visit to Athens I picked a Accor Group hotel. The drop off to the Hotel is busy I would guess the busiest Street in the city. So self-drive here is not a good option. The welcome from staff and even the front office manager took me to my fantastic room on the 8th Floor large bed bathroom huge clean and the whole hotel has the classic upscale designs that this group is all about. Upscale couples’ playground is how I would summarise this hotel which fits in the group model.
The hotels standout feature is the pool and Bar on the 10th floor again layout and design classic upmarket will attract upmarket customer that wants something special. The staff that look after this 10th floor pool/bar area with its 360 degree view of the city have clearly been hand picked .Four young Ladies are worthy of special mention they are professional engaging and super-efficient. They never stop working to ensure 100% service levels and never stop cleaning things which during those COVID times is so important. They do everything with a bright smile They will also engage at a social level but always maintain professionalism. They are a Credit to your company and yourselves.
The food is very good at the hotel I sampled many dishes during my stay and is nicely presented.
If you like high brand shopping, then you are in for a treat every high brand shop you can name is within 2 mins walk. Think the hotel has not been open that long and the whole team here is customer focused. Over time this will be come Iconic and feature and many Instagram pages.
There is a nice coffee shop on the ground floor that was engaging watching the busy people
Of Athens going about the day.
100% recommended this hotel which is for sure great value for the rates charged.

Our stay in the Athens Capital Centre Hotel last week was amazing.
It’s new, which my wife and I like, the decor is contemporary and stylish and feels like a boutique hotel.
The rooms have all the latest technology and the infinity pool on the roof is stunning and a pleasure to relax in on a rest day or at the end of a days sight seeing.
The breakfast is great with an extensive continental style included, there's also an a la carte menu available.
Every part of the hotel was a pleasure to be in and completely Covid safe. But the thing my wife and I loved the most was just how well we were looked after by the staff. It‘s rare that you feel truly welcome and a valued guest in a hotel, but here the staff really couldn’t do enough for you. Everyone went out of their way to help us and nothing we requested was too mush trouble. In fact the hotel and service we received made me want to write them a great review, I wanted to give something back.

The hotel opened the first of September and we stayed there for 2 nights. The location is just perfect, so close to the Syntagma square, so you can reach many places just by walking. The rooms are spacious, decorated with elegance and sobriety in a modern touch, just woah in the good way!
We loved the swimming pool and the bar on the rooftop. So perfect to enjoy the wiew of Athens with the sunset.
And in French...Super nouvel hôtel de la chaine Accor. L'emplacement est parfait, à 2 pas du Syntagma square.Les chambres sont spacieuses et décorées à la perfection.
La piscine et le bar sur le toit sont un must, surtout à l'heure du coucher de soleil.
Une adresse à retenir!!!

We had a very smooth check in with some very lovely staff members.

We were offered an upgraded view (we booked a superior room) as we were celebrating a special occasion. The upgraded view was just ok, but it was the thought that counted for us.

Breakfast selection is quite small, but it did us, lots of pastries, fruits, and you could order eggs made to your choice.

The rooms were not too small, the feng shui of the room was perfect, the bathroom was very nice.

The Lobby area was small, but it's a boutique size hotel in the middle of the city so you wouldnt expect a grand entrance, but it is beautifully decorated.

The staff in the cafe off the lobby area were so accommodating. There was a particularly difficult customer and they handled her so professionally and were so patient with her. She was very bad mannered.

The roof top bar is beautiful, we ate here and although it was quite expensive (almost €30 for a chick burger and the same for a club sandwich) the portions were big and both meals came with chips, this is average what we would pay in Ireland, but in greece you can eat outside the hotel for Alot less.

A beer in the rooftop bar was between €9-€11.

There is a panoramic viewpoint above the rooftop restaurant and it is beautiful, and a great idea!

The hotel is round the corner from Syntagma square, and 10 min walk to Monastiraki Square, and a further 10 mins to Plaka/Old Town. Overall it is perfectly located and the area it is situated in is a little more upmarket than other areas further out from the city.

Overall we loved our experience here.

Overall this is a reliable choice of hotel if you want to be somewhere central. The location is great and the rooms are a good size and clean.

However this is not a five star experience. The staff are friendly but disinterested and the one straightforward tourist question we had complicated the situation rather than helping.

We booked a superior room instead of standard so were disappointed to find the window faced a wall and interior signage so there was no natural light in the day and changing neon lights at night. We didn't expect a view but it felt more appropriate for a lower rate.

The coffee machine didn't work (we have a similar one at home so it wasn't user error) and the complimentary bottle of water that was pointed out to us proudly on arrival wasn't replaced once during our four night stay. Putting a do not disturb sign on the door was wasted as staff hoovered the hallway just before 8am regardless. The window was also opened for us while we were out and not shut so we had mosquitos waiting for us when we got back.

Breakfast had a varied selection but the fresh fruit was discoloured as if it had been out on display more than once and the hot food didn't look very appetising.

The pool at the top has a nice view but it looks much bigger on the website when in reality there aren't many loungers and quickly became very hectic so is best avoided.

At best it's a four star hotel, largely down to its location. Now we have our bearings in Athens we will look for a more intimate hotel that takes a little more care for the price.

Situated in a very good location close to designer shops and many tourist attractions. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The breakfast quality was outstanding with a superb choice of options available and any kind of coffee you prefer.
We enjoyed the small rooftop pool, there are only 12 loungers but people only tend to stay near the pool for a couple of hours so they do become available. However you can’t always see whether loungers are available because the staff are not clearing away used towels or empty glasses etc… the pool area needs more attention than it gets. Nobody asks whether you would like drinks or clears up. The rooftop view is great.
The rooms are small so we would recommend booking the best room you can afford or you must expect a small space. Nicely appointed everywhere. We like this hotel and can recommend at the prices.

Hello! The breakfast room at our main restaurant MFlavours (9th) does not offer a view of the Acropolis, but a view of the Parliament. You can enjoy a mesmerizing view of the Acropolis from our Mappemonde Rooftop Restaurant Bar & Lounge (10th floor), which also offers breakfast a la carte. Thank you!
