Firstly this was not our choice of hotel as the 1 I booked months in advance was overbooked when we arrived then got told we'd be put here and we had to walk here. Upon our arrival we were told there were no balconies which is what we booked at the other hotel. We were put on the 7th floor. Room was very clean and tidy. We noticed that 2 lights weren't working and the air conditioning was very poor. We reported to reception staff but nothing was done. The whole week we were there there was bus loads of students arriving every day who mad alot of noise during the night as well as urinating and smoking cannabis out the front of the hotel which we reported to reception and the guy just shrugged his shoulders and did nothing. On the Sunday the electricity and water went off, the water was fixed after 5 hours but the electricity remained off until after 4pm. We had to stay away or in reception as the stairs were quite a challenge, so we had no breakfast, showers, toilets and nothing offered to help. We had to ask and were told nothing they could do. Apart from Nefeli on reception and Elena who were lovely and helpful the test of the reception staff hardly spoke. My partner tried to arrange a birthday cake for me as a surprise with Nefeli's help but a bald man on reception said we don't do that where Nefeli was trying to help and she was surprised at his reaction. Also the hotel is in a very dodgy area, with prostitutes opposite the hotel all day and at night drug users and homeless people lying about on the pavements very close th the hotel. We would definitely not recommend here to anyone who wants a peaceful and relaxing stay. There are alot better hotels who care about their customers not far away in much nicer areas.

Our room was nice, but food (room service and breakfast) not good. Saw some reviews that mentioned not feeling safe, street a little bit rough but we had no issues, and frankly noone gave us a second look, I think it's just the area isn't the most lavish. Staff were nice and everything was clean - quick and simple for a short stay. Archeological museum, lycabettus hill and Kotzia square all close to hotel but took us about 30 mins to get to Plaka

Don't pay attention to the bad review below - We stayed in June 2022. They have gone through a renovation and we found everything great. The front staff are very professional. Room was well appointed--loved the view from the shower to the bedroom area. Oh My-- the Buffet was exceptional; wished we could have stayed longer. Good value for your money.

Had an enjoyable stay at Breeze Boutique . Hotel was only about a 15 min walk to the main Monistiraki square. The rooms were very tidy and the breakfast buffet is very nice. Only downside is the nearby neighbourhood can be a bit sketchy, especially at night. This can be avoided by staying on the main roads when walking.

Started out great. We had a nice room at the start of the trip. Breakfast buffet is decent. Staff was very nice. We checked out for a few days, since we were going to the islands. Upon return, we were “upgraded” into a higher level room… the room was almost 80 degrees and smelled horrible, of mildew and mold. We decided to go walk around and put the air conditioner on low. When we returned the air conditioner had barely cooled the room off but the smell had gotten better. We tired to go to sleep. After about an hour in The room my husband and I had sore throats and itchy eyes. At 1230 in the morning we went to the front desk. At first the person we talked to didn’t want to help us. They decided to check the room out. It was hot and smelled of mold. They changed our room. To say at this point I was beyond disgusted with the rooms and couldn’t sleep. I now have a horrible cough (not covid related). The hotel is far from 4 stars. If you make a right instead of a left outside the front Door you’re going to run into all the prostitutes. Buyers beware, You could have a great experience or a horrible one!

This hotel stole money, passports, jewelry, my daughters clothes, and other important documents from us. When we were talking to the manager of the hotel, he didn’t let us see the camera footage after we demanded to see it, so that pretty much made it obvious it was the hotel.

When I first came to the hotel, I thought the staff was very kind, and very hospitable. After a few days of our stay they turned very rude. We were getting our room cleaned every single day and the maids kept on forgetting to put soap or any type of shower gel in our room. For FOUR DAYS we didn’t have ANY SOAP in our room. The maids don’t speak english and when I would ask for soap they gave me tea bags. I however went up to multiple front desk workers and would be told to come back. There was this one lady working the front desk at night and when I asked her, she told me to leave and go back to my room. When we were checking out, the hotel workers yelled at us for not asking for soap? Denise was her name, I believe. Thank you so much Denise, I should’ve tried asking! I’ve never had this bad of an experience at a hotel. Please chose somewhere else. Oh and there’s a prostitution circle right next to the hotel.

Brreze Boutique? A misnomer. No restaurant, so no more than two stars, by definition. Please look up how stars are deserved. Only buffet breakfast. No room service. No food on the premises. Not even a vending machine. Very low cost shower impossible to adjust properly. Room OK, if you consider two individual single beds placed next to each other as a Queen bed. Location? not recommended for touring or returning late at night. Yes, restaurants are not more than a few blocks away, but the neighborhood is not considered very safe. Even the taxis that we took, to go and then return after our tour, warned us about the unsafety of the zone. Employees were nice, but unable to solve our problem of a broken hairdryer. No replacement available and no electrician who could repair it. Hiccupy wifi is not their fault. So the only good thing was the price. Everythng else is under par, or as I said, dreadfully overrated. So, if you decide to go, Be Advised.

Generally, a great stay. Large and comfy bed. Exclusive looking rooms with welcoming drinks (wine). Had issues with the air conditioning, we did have air conditioning where it was over 20 degrees due to the winter seasons, only warm air was coming out. Eventually, we had a room changed and had cold air flowing. Just to watch out, I had all my documents and money in the safe apart from £100 which I have hidden in my suitcase just for an emergency situation. I completely forgot about that money until I got back home to look out for it, definitely not spent it. RIt was on my third night I believe, which was the first service day I have requested and money went missing. I only realized that when I got home. I phoned the hotel but they said about their reliable staff and nobody said anything.
