    Elegant, sophisticated and very stylish
Set in an older Art Deco style building overlooking Plateia Aghia Erini, this is a great location to stay in Athens. The location is great for transport, with Monastiraki station nearby and for restaurants in Psyrri and closer on Limpona and Plateia Aghia Erini. Also great for exploring the Plaka and everything Athens has to offer. The rooms are very stylish, with polished concrete floors and fittings befitting a building of this style and age. A very stylish renovation. One of the other striking things is the public spaces - the restaurants and bars downstairs and the corridors- all curvey and generous. Very pleasant staff on reception and at breakfast, with a lovely buffet. Would stay here again next time in Athens.
Dear AMP070866, Thank you very much for your feedback. We are really happy that you have enjoyed your stay with us at Perianth Hotel and that the team was able to make your stay a great one. We are looking forward to welcoming you back next time you are in Athens. Kind Regards, The Perianth Hotel Team

    A touch of luxury
This hotel is exquisitely designed and makes you feel relaxed as soon as you arrive. Attention has been paid to the details, from smooth curves everywhere to the gold lifts to the use of velvet on the beds. The rooms are a good size, though I would have liked an armchair to sit and read in. Luckily there are balconies and it was sit warm enough to sit outside in November with a coffee from the in-room Nespresso machine. The location is perfect and a real selling point - amidst lots of cafes and restaurants, and within walking distance of essentially all sights and attractions. Breakfast was also a highlight, with a large menu all available to order, from pastries to omelettes, though some dishes like avocado toast or pancakes cost extra. I would come again and felt the price I paid was hard to beat.

    Highly recommend this hotel
Recently stayed 4 nights at this hotel. I can not say enough good things about this hotel and the staff. Great location, right in the middle of the Platka. We walked all over the Platka and Acropolis area. Stayed here pre-cruise with a group of 24 persons in 12 different rooms. Every one in the group loved this hotel. Staff were so kind and helpful, we felt as if we were staying with family. Great little restaurant for included breakfast that was also a bar in the evening that opened up to seating out on the street. This was a great gathering spot for the group at the end of a day full of tours. The staff truly took care of us and made sure we had all we needed. The rooms were modern, very spacious and very clean. The room included very nice touches like high end shampoo and body wash as well as a very good hair blow dryer. Some of the rooms located on the side of the building could hear music from down the street one of the nights, but said it would not affect their opinion of this lovely hotel. Should I ever return to Athens, I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Lovely hotel, centrally located and with great customer service. We stayed in two different rooms - on with a direct view of the Acropolis (so amazing that it almost looked fake!) and another tucked away room but it was also spacious and comfortable with a balcony. I would highly recommend. The area is loud at night in a comfortable buzz way but it just sounds like white noise when you are ready to head to bed.

We stayed two glorious nights at the Perianth and wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel entrance is a short walk from the road, and we were greeted warmly upon arrival. Because of our early arrival, our room wasn't ready, so we decided to get a bite to eat and explore the area. It's a vibrant area, full of restaurants, cafés, bars, and shopping and an easy walk to the Monastiraki Station, the Plaka, Ancient Agora and the Acropolis. So the location is magnificent. And the room turned out being wonderful as well: very roomy, comfortable bed with a selection of pillows, good a/c, excellent brand of toiletries, and the best shower I have ever experienced! The breakfast is so good - a buffet selection of breads, pastries, cheeses and more, plus a choice from the menu. The hotel and restaurant staff were always present, friendly, and helpful. Our room did have a small balcony, but faced a wall, so no real view, but we could hear and see some of the activity below us. The noise from the surrounding bars and restaurants didn't really bother us - because of the comfortable room, we slept soundly. The Perianth will be our hotel choice again when we return to Athens!

We recently stayed in the Perianth Hotel and had the most wonderful experience. Despite being in the perfect location, the staff were amazing and always smiling and super helpful and friendly. Special mention must go to Athina who was always so welcoming to us. The hotel itself is stylish qnd defintely not generic. The breakfast was another highlight - having both a buffet and option to order a cooked meal (everything we ordered was spectacular). I would highly recommend the Perianth Hotel if you prefer to be slightly away from the hordes of people and more standardised/generic hotels closer to the Acropolis area. This hotel has it's own style - it's different and very memorable. We plan to return to Greece again next year and will definately be staying at the Perianth.

AVOID THIS HOTEL IF YOU LIKE SLEEP. It is located directly on top of 3 bars, and you can feel the music in your body when you’re trying to sleep. Walkable distance to tourist attractions. In the free breakfast that’s included, we tried to order an extra pancake and they wanted us to pay for it. As a 3-star hotel, this would be a fine hotel (as long as you don’t value sleep at night), but as a 5-star hotel, I was disappointed severely.

Dear Christopher, Thank you for your feedback. We are surprised to read your comments regarding the noise, since you stayed with us last year (2022) and on new years eve. Being new years eve, with celebrations taking place all over the city, it is expected to have more noise than usual due to the day. All our rooms do have double glassed windows in order to keep the disturbance to a minimum. In regards to your comments about breakfast, please note that we offer buffet breakfast and a selection of one hot dish (eggs pancakes etc.) per person from our a la carte menu. Should guests wish to order more than one dish per person from our a la carte, then there is a charge for the additional dish. We believe that this is reasonable, since we do offer a wide variety of options on our buffet and a la carte menu that are included in the breakfast. Kind Regards, The Perianth Hotel Team

The hotel is great in many ways, service is fantastic, rooms very nicely appointed and comfy, great location close to Acropolis, BUT the noise was immeasurable from the street. After a long day touristing we were exhausted and just needed a quiet place to rest but the partying on the street was over the top.

Perianth is the perfect hotel - perfect location, perfect staff, perfect luxuries, perfect pre-check in, perfect design, perfect food, and perfect hospitality. The staff is so welcoming - they reach out prior to see if they can help with anything - reservations, plans, etc. upon arrival, they are professional and accommodating - doing everything to make sure your stay is great. The location is in center of area you want to be - near plaka and acropolis - oh - forgot to mention that every room has a view of the acropolis. The design is super cool - not overdone - just right to give you the feeling you are in a special place. Artwork is very interesting and highlights the design. Rooms are comfy and spacious. Special thanks to Odysseus and front desk staff who made our stay MUCH better than anticipated!

Great location, very helpful staff. Room was beautiful. Shower was huge. Could fit 10 people :). We could see the Acropolis from our hotel window. tremendous amount of shopping and restaurants in the area. 10 - 15 minute walk to Acropolis entrance.
