We arrived in Athens, after museums, ancient sites and restaurants were closed and just days before the entire city closed due to Covid19. The staff at AD Luxury Suites gave us extra care and attention (thank you Angelo, Panos and Donatis!) and provided us the most amazing breakfast spread of our worldwide trip (thank you Apostolos!). The location is ideal for sightseeing (literally steps from the Acropolis subway station, and ~1 block away from the Acropolis Museum & entrance to the Acropolis, plus easy walk to the Plaka neighborhood. Although we didn’t visit Athens at the best time, we loved our stay at AD & would recommend it most highly for your visit to Athens.
we travelled for 3 nights to Athens, first plus was the Metro station almost in front of the Hotel, second the view of Acropole from the Breakfast room on the 6th floor, and 3rd the large number of Restaurants in the area. The front desk was extremly friendly, for sure a place to come back.
I recently stayed in this hotel for 5 nights based on reader reviews. The hotel is in a wonderful location for sightseeing and getting around the city, but the hotel is by no means luxurious as the title indicates. It is a very small hotel with 3 or 4 rooms on 5 floors. The rooms were very clean and housekeeping did a wonderful job, but the bathroom is very small and poorly designed. In my room there were 2 steps from the sleeping area to the bathroom. The room did not have a full length mirror and I found no hair dryer. The breakfast area , when the weather is cold ,is in a very confined area and although you can have a "hot" breakfast I did not learn this for several days. The cold food was presented in a very small space. When I did order scrambled eggs, I regretted my choice. The hall carpet on my floor needed a good cleaning and it is true you can hear the noise from the elevator and the stairs. In my opinion this is a good 3 star hotel!…
This was a short trip for us. we loved this little hotel. I'm sure you can read other reviews, so I'll just list what I loved and things that can improve. Loved: great friendly staff great central location with Metro just steps away can walk to Acropolis and museum clean spacious room Daily breakfast with view of Acropolis Can Improve: Breakfast was mostly super sweet stuff. I recommend adding more savory breakfast items for Diabetics. Definitely recommend this hotel.
Overall, a great hotel, but it can use some improvement. Pros: fantastic location! Walking distance to most sites with a view of the Acropolis. We had a corner room so it was pretty spacious. All toiletries were provided including conditioner and slippers. Great price. Complimentary breakfast included. Cons: shower did not drain well so the water spilled over onto the floor. The breakfast could have better food - the bread was a bit stale. The staff were all friendly and helpful.
