I had an excellent time at this hotel The location is wonderful, you can get all around the city. The rooms face the fountains. They have a great Café with an excellent menu, I had the sea bass which was really good. The staff are really nice and go out of their way to assist. I would definitely visit again. The best part was the breakfast, they offered everything you could image.
Clean, modern style hotel right on Omonοia Square which, nowadays, is a good location for tourists. As with most places, exercise common sense and caution at night. Bakeries and coffee shops just next door, and I found it convenient for walking everywhere to cover the top Athens sights. I booked a 'deluxe room with a city view' which was quiet, on a high floor and had a balcony with views of the square. Good wi-fi connectivity, TV channel options and clean, comfortable room.
Having booked a room ten days in advance that was confirmed and guaranteed I arrived at the hotel to find my room was cancelled two days before my arrival because I made my booking using American Express and the hotel does not accept American Express.I had no access to my E Mails in Greece therefore I could have potentially been stranded without accommodation. Fortunately the hotel was not full but it is poor practice to confirm a booking and then cancel it.Just wait for my arrival and request another card for payment or contact the guest as soon as the booking is made.Do not accept bookings and cancel before the guest arrives.
My husband and I stayed here at the beginning of our trip and then for one day between leaving from Santorini and returning to the US. Our first room which was booked through Jetline Vacations was mediocre (listed on our travel documents as "Comfort Room". We couldn't get the AC to turn on and we had two double beds pushed together which is not ideal for a couple use to sleeping next to each other. We also had a shower with no curtain so water got EVERYWHERE although the shower system was divine. We were not impressed our first stay. On our second stay, they upgraded us to a fountain view room and it was AMAZING- the view, the working AC, the king bed, and the lovely shower with a door. Our second stay was such a better experience that I give the hotel 4 stars. Definitely upgrade which I doubt is very expensive to a better room. The hotel is about a 35-40 euro uber ride from airport and is well located. There are multiple metro stations near it and about a 3-5 euro uber trip to the acropolis. Also their free breakfast was delicious and the hotel accommodated us nicely as we were leaving well before the breakfast was served so they let us go to breakfast when we arrived as we arrived right before breakfast was about to wrap up (10:30 AM I believe). Overall I would recommend if you upgrade rooms!…
My family and I stayed at this hotel during our vacation in Athens. This hotel is centrally located and it is accessible by train. We simply took the train from the airport and got to this hotel with no problem. The staff are very friendly and professional. Rooms are clean and specious. Restaurant is great, with a wide variety of breakfast menu items to start a vacation day. Many wonderful bakeries are in walking distance. I will definitely recommend and stay at this hotel if I go back to beautiful Athens.
Nice hotel with great centrality to among other restaurants and Acropolis. We enjoyed the hotel alot, and stayed there before and after travelling to Naxos. Before arriving to Athens we got a lot of unfriendly e-mails due to them not been able to bill our credit card. The credit card had money, and other places had no issues billing on it. First time, we agreed that we would fix the billing on arrival, with no issues from our end. My wife booked the hotel online a second time, and we had the same issues, now after having a stay there also mentioning how we we fixed it the first time. What I found odd is that the Hotel did the same thing sending us several emails, instead of just waiting for us fixing it on arrival. We had at that time already stayed there, and settled everything and the Hotel was not fully booked so keeping our reservation with a smile would be easy for them to do. The guards at the Hotel was actually the most service minded and pleasant people there..…
Despite the claim that the rooms are sound proofed the noise is horrendous with .traffic and sirens well into the early hours. My room was supposedly Delux with City View and yet only paper cups and tea/coffee for the first night. After that no cup or glass for drinking tap water The room is minimal style a pretentious way of saying there is not much for the guests.Vibrant City View is a pretentious way of saying it is very lively outside even at 2 am! The hotels location is both its strongpoint and downfall. It does not offer a delux experience or even a specifically four star experience. There are far better value quieter hotels nearby in Central Athens
We stayed last week for 5 nights and had an amazing time! The hotel is in a perfect location, you can easily walk, get the metro, taxi, or the sightseeing bus from right outside to the main attractions. Our room was spacious and clean, shower was always hot and powerful and we had a brilliant view of the fountain and lycabettus hill from our balcony. It was very easy to get the metro from the airport - and half the price of taxi/transfer so worth it. Lots of good restaurants in the Plaka area of Athens too. We would definitely stay here again if back in Athens!
The location of this hotel is: a few meters away from the metro, from the city hop and off tour bus, 24 hours open bakers, a number of good restaurants. Friendly receptionists, good service. The breakfast is extensive, though number of warm dishes is hardly there. vegans can have a lot of salad, bread,
Very cute and lovely hotel, location is perfect, very close to all touristic attractions and metro station. you feel it’s great value for price. Breakfast is great and delicious. The staff are so kind and helpful. Two issues; one, closet is really small and two, the balcony doors are closed which can damage your experience! As you can’t enjoy the view! Luckily, ours was broken. Also I can suggest a rooftop restaurant or cafe.
