Visited Sen Monorom in the (very) wet season so our trip was always not be blessed with sunshine. Stayed here one night, lodge was fine with hot shower and mosquito net but felt a little damp. Common / eating area a little crowded and chaotic. A nice place for backpackers but maybe not for me again

We stayed in a double bedroom with hot water at the Tree Lodge for two nights at $7 USD/night. It's a wooden cabin set in a cleared jungle area, so be ready for basic lodging with insects and some mouse droppings. Despite this, it was a wonderful experience, complete with a mosquito net, and hot water working well. They provided... More

We visited tree lodge in June and had a day with the elephants and this was surely the highlights of our 2 weeks in Cambodia . The lodge was comfortable and clean , the restaurant very friendly and food was good , gorgeous view of the mountains around and very relaxing after the madness of Phnom pen , and unbeatable... We visited in the rainy season. There were thunderstorms and torrential rain every night. The bungalows are quite basic - a comfortable bed with a mosquite net; a bathroom with shower and toilet, and an quirky floor of irregularly shaped rocks for a floor. The bungalows are wooden, on stilts, with gaps between the floor boards - very authentic. This... More

I stayed here for a couple of nights before and after visiting the Mondulkuri project (which I highly recommend, it was fantastic!). I have mixed feelings about the accommodation though. It has a lot of potential, really beautiful surroundings and a very cool set up with a raised wooden walkway to get around between the bungalows. The price is also... More

What a bargain! $7 a night for a double cabin with ensuite bathroom! The food is great - the Khmer dishes are the best choice. Beer is the only alcohol served, so BYO wine or spirits. They do offer a nice range of juices and shakes. The beds are comfortable - pillows less so. The shower was great - powerful... More

This place is not for you if you can't handle to come in touch with everything that lives in nature - especially bugs. The bungalows are made of wood, so insects can get in an out as they please. In our room, mosquito nets were provided (already hanging there), so not problem with that! Warm shower worked, bathroom as expected... More

This is the hardest review I've written. I have given it a four because there were certainly a number of negative things about staying here but for the price the good things outweighed the bad. Firstly we stayed here because we were doing the elephants and trek with Mondulkiri Project (owned by the same people) so for convenience this place... More

The rooms were really great at $5 a night, very spacious with a nice private bathroom. It is an outside bungalow type room so there will be insects and other creatures but they provide a mosquito net for biters. The restaurant area is in the main reception where the staff live, sitting here to eat or use the wifi always... More

I am happy to hear you thought our $5 rooms were really great. I am sorry to read that other things you did not enjoy. Yes our staff spend time in the restaurant. They also live at our guesthouse. Where would you like them to spend their time? Our food and drink is not overpriced and everyone else loves our... More

Accommodation is basic but more than enough, if you like nature and simplicity, the Tree lodge is just great. Food is good as well and fair for the price. Location is ok, center town is walkable, and if you like strolling then you have plenty of paths around. Just a shame that the staff was not particularly friendly or helpful... More

We are happy that you thought our food was good and well priced. We apologise if you thought our staff were not friendly. Maybe they were busy working. We did not try and sell you the wrong tickets. There is no bus that goes directly from Sen Monorom to Sihanoukville so we sold you a minivan ticket to Phnom Penh... More
