Stayed 3 years in a row now. A wonderful place and Sharon and Steve are great hosts and very accommodating. You can do as much or as little as you like. The family love it. Cannot wait to come back again. See you soon.

Clarence River Wilderness Lodge is breathtakingly beautiful - wish we’d scheduled a longer stay. Big thanks to Sharon and Steve for making us welcome and for bailing me out when I chickened out on driving the van back out the “driveway”. We all want to get back there as soon as possible for a proper break.

Just got back from 2 nights here with my husband we stayed on the bell-tent which was set up by Sharon and Stephen before we arrived right in front of the water, we paid the extra for linen and towels and honestly it was very comfortable and so spacious. We had the most amazing, relaxing time. Unfortunately due to such dry weather the water levels were very low and there was no flowing water however there was still enough to go for a canoe which are free to use. There was only us and 2 other lots of people so very quiet and peaceful and almost felt like we had the place to ourselves. We went on a few walks (including the Ridge Walk) which we cant recommend enough, and also drove up to Sunset Lookout in the late afternoon, due to the fires around there was the most beautiful color in the sky, it felt so surreal with that view. Sharon was so lovely and so helpful, and we honestly cannot wait to come back and experience this piece of heaven when the water levels are full.

Hi Michelle, Thanks for taking the time to write a review of our property and your Bell tent stay. Because of the prolonged drought you didn't see the Wilderness lodge at it's best. I am glad that you were still able to enjoy the other activities on offer here. Lets hope your next visit will have you floating through the rapids on a boogie board. Steve

I’ve been lucky enough to stay in the cabin accomodation and the treehouse. The whole place was off grid and so environmentally friendly. I loved the way each cottage was finished with such beautiful timber made from timber from the property. I particularly liked the bathrooms fitted out with a real timber tree to hold the towels and a Torp Isak Separett waterless toilet. The attention to detail was remarkable and everything you may need was provided. Overall a wonderfull escape into nature.

Hi Clarey, Thanks for taking the time to review our accommodation. If rustic is what you like, then we have spades of it here. The bush and river around us provide the materials that make our accommodation unique in it's bush country style. Steve

I was lucky enough to spend 3 magical nights at this heavenly paradise, waking up in the bell tents beside the river, being surrounded by nature and immersing in the peace and tranquility! Just what the doc ordered!! Steve and Sharon are so warm, friendly, accommodating, connected and really have a slice of heaven - thank you so much for opening your home and sharing it! Enjoying wood fired pizzas after a beautiful gully walk and rainy day was the cherry on top of an epic adventure cake of a few days! Will definitely be back and recommending to all :)

Hi Emily, Thanks for taking the time to review our property. I am glad you enjoyed walking down Fraser's gully. It's not the sort of walk you take when you just want a bit of a stroll, but for those who like a bit of adventure, this is the walk. Steve
