My husband and I had an amazing stay at this lovely beach hotel.
The receptionist Jeen was very caring and welcoming.
We had the excellent surprise to know that we had been upgraded to a pool villa when we arrived.

we stayed here for 8 days, this is definately a luxurious property, location is pretty good, only 10 minutes from the airport. our room was amazing as was the food, at any time of the day! staff are very friendly and always willing to assist,...More
Nice room . Barely use swimming pool. Very good breakfast. Outside Washroom is too warm. It's not convenient. Airport shuttle super expensive. Reception is out door, no air conditioning, its outdoor. Pretty green idea to save energy.
We stayed here for 7 nights and it was comfortable and relaxing time. We arrived after a 12 hour long haul flight so really appreciated being put up in a temporary room to catch up on sleep until our room was ready.

The beach is OK. Has waves. The designated swimming area is a few metres from the hotel. It is a public beach which serves public and quite a few hotels so be careful of taking too many things with you. Sea was a bit rough but it was warm and a fun swim. Not the best beach visually or hygiene wise. There were enough loungers at the hotel around the pool and on the beach. Hopefully it's cleaner when you visit. I tried the walking on a beach barefoot thing in Thailand and soon realized it was a no no because of all the rubbish and glass. Definitely not a snorkelling spot. I did the Ang Thong National Park day trip, where you spend a whole day snorkelling (about 45 minutes), kayaking (hour) and climbing up a million steps to a look out point which is quite pretty. It's about a 45 minute trip by speedboat each way. The area is busy and wasn't necessarily spectacular. It's been damaged by all the tourists and boats which arrive en masse. Do be aware that some operators are dodgy and even the better ones do take chances. Not first world stuff so just be aware of that. Make sure you have insurance. A few tourists have been killed (Discovery Tour) and injured on these trips. Nobody wears life jackets even in big swells and the boats are often loaded to capacity. If something goes wrong it can be disastrous. There is a private Jet Ski Safari that takes you to more remote, and less busier islands. It's expensive but it's near SALA. We booked but it was cancelled because of the weather. While I was disappointed I was preferred that they cancelled. I hear it amazing and great fun if you're up for that. Just do be aware that while some operators may be cheaper booking a jet ski in Thailand through a dodgy operator can turn out very badly so do check to make sure the operator has full insurance and is legit and read the reviews first. The place we booked through was Extreme Samui Watersports. website is samuiwatersports
Go to fisherman's village at night it's great.

The room which we were in was a garden pool villa. This had a large double bed and a sofa bed which could be used for 1 child. I suggest you email the hotel to ask whether they have a villa suitable for 2 adults and 2 children - there are various rooms and there were plenty of families with children so I can only assume they have villas bigger than the one we stayed in. They are very very helpful and I'm sure they will be more than happy to answer any questions you have. Great pool for kids and each villa had its own pool which is plenty big enough for a family. Hope this helps
