I have thought about this for a few days. I am going to say a few things about some stand out parts before I review as over all. First, the grounds and accommodations; the hotel works very hard to keep up the grounds. Manicuring the greenery, combing the beaches, pressure washing the pathways. The accommodations were above expectations, they were private and clean, simplistic but cozy. It’s hard to get all of that in one but Cocos achieves it. Second, The staff; I don’t think I felt more at home and welcomed then I did while at Cocos. The staff was amazing, always smiling, always cheerful, singing and dancing. Everyone said good morning and good night. They asked about your adventures and remembered you well enough to call you by name. The wait staff was superb and we even grew to love the waitress that served us most of our meals. Third, the food; there is not enough words to describe the food choices. They had amazing flavor and even let you out of your comfort zone just a little with the unique dishes. We always looked forward to the next meal. I felt like I was at an expensive 5 star restaurant. Last but not least overall, this was a home away from home vacation. Although a little bit of a hike to an from the rooms, it was quiet, relaxing, remote, peaceful but absolutely amazing. The combination of the views and the beaches are not like any other place. We definitely will be back.

The Cocos Hotel is so full of character and set in a stunning location. The Restaurant is just beautiful and the food is of a very high standard. The staff are really friendly and seem so happy to be there. The service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. The menu was varied and had something for everyone. I am trying to think of a negative and really cant. They have entertainment a few times a week which is also really good. Our Cottage was a short uphill walk which in places is quite steep BUT the view from the balcony is well worth it. The outdoor showers where an excellent touch. Some parts of the cottage are looking a little tired but that would not stop me recommending this hotel. The staff on the bars make excellent cocktails and all drinks I had were perfect. I would not hesitate in giving this hotel 9 out of 10 EXCELLENT, RELAXED, FRIENDLY AND BEAUTIFUL

Booked cocos for my girl and couldn’t have asked for better! Richelle and Cassie were very helpful in booking this trip and quick to reply to any questions I had. When we arrived we were greeted right away and very courteously. On our way to our room Linroy assisted us and was fantastic at doing so. I don’t think he gets enough credit for the amount of work he does! Honestly everything in this resort is amazing from the lovely staff to the views and beaches to visiting city centre. Jesse, Labrisca and Stephen were phenomenal behind the bar! Their knowledge of cocktails and great conversations is unmatched! The food was beyond great with many options for breakfast and lunch and diverse dinner meals every night. Janel, Janella, Antoinette, Toni and Patricia were lovely hosts for our dinners and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and at home as well as Anizia, Charisse, Anisha and Nicolette for the breakfasts. Robert was as well very kind welcoming and always willing to assist. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay very enjoyable 🙌 I would like to give a special thank you to Jesse Labrisca Robert Antoinette and Janela such amazing people and made our vacation that much more memorable.🙌❤️

My husband and I were very impressed with Cocos. The staff was wonderful, I cannot name them all but we spent some time with Anisha at dinner, Loreen at breakfast, and Akil and Jesse at the bar. Everyone was very happy to get to know you and interact with you to make your trip extra special. We stayed in cottage 3, which had an excellent view. I don’t think you will have a bad view anywhere you stay at Cocos. Yes, as other reviews have stated, you will be walking and uphill, a lot! However, the views are so worth it. The Cottages are rustic with some modern flare. The outdoor shower was fantastic, the balconies were quite spacious as well as the cottage itself. All rooms had a mini fridge, which was stocked according to your preferences. The food, coffee and wine were excellent. Yes, the service was slow, but that is the point. You have nothing to do and all day to get there, so slow down and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Antigua. The public beach had the better swimming, but did have the local vendors try and sell you activities/ excursions. We went wave running and it was an amazing way to see the harbor. If we had to make one complaint, it would be not having a snack in the room such as a piece of fruit. It can be a long wait for breakfast or dinner if you are looking for a small bite before your next meal. However, if you planned ahead, the snack menu was available during the day.
