Just a couple of streets away from the Praca da Liberdade, the Praca de Lisboa (Torre de Clerigos) and the Rua das Flores you couldn't get a much better location for exploring Porto. The lady on reception whose name slips my mind was extremely helpful and friendly. The room itself was large, clean, very comfortable and nicely decorated with a...

This guesthouse has good sized rooms, very comfortable beds, clean and is in a central location in the city. The price is reasonable. No breakfast - there are many cafés in the area serving wonderful coffee and pastries. Only downside is the lack of a lift if your bag is heavy. The building cannot accommodate one. I had a room...

Clean room and great price! Great location. 5 minute walk to Sao bento train station. Remember this place is inexpensive! The room is very small and also sharing bathroom with a few other rooms. If you're not ok with that don't get it! There is also a few flights of stairs to get to the very top floor and no...

Great location to walk to everything. If you drive, it is almost impossible to get on the street the hotel is on to offload your bags-lots of small one way streets. You can pay for parking there and use a nearby garage for much cheaper than if you just paid for the garage for 24 hours. Having AC and a...

Great central location, with extremely spacious, comfortable rooms with excellent facilities. Good strong hot shower, large comfy bed and plenty of hanging space. Very friendly, helpful owners as well. It was a little noisy on Saturday night, but that's what you get if you want to be in the middle of things. It really wasn't bad and after a few...

Perfect location. Extremely central to everything in Porto. Beware the stairs . . . our room was on top floor, approximately 80 steps (a good way to burn some of the vacation calories). Staff was friendly.

This is a real gem of a place, excellent value, excellent staff and lovely rooms with strong and regular wifi, free. It's location is in a back street very close to the main avenue in the centre of town. Restaurants and cafes are cheap, good and just round the corner. The only thing to be aware of is that there...

A centrally located and inexpensive guesthouse. Small but clean and well appointed rooms, all with double beds (I believe). No breakfast offered but plenty of places close by. Very inexpensive for the location and quality of the room. Unfortunately the main downside was a leaking shower and a slight smell of sewage in the morning.

The young man at the reception was very friendly and was perfect informed about the city. Room was tiny, but that was fine for us. We stayed in the last floor, amazing view downstairs. Bathroom and the whole hostel very clean. Grab a snack (Franchesinha) in Aviz in the corner, have a dinner in Munchie (Burger) in the nearest markt...

A friend and I booked this a week before arriving. Unfortunately our Ryanair flight got shifted later and we arrived around 1am, which was no problem (I let them know in advance to expect us). The room was nice and freshly renovated, with a lovely little balcony to look onto the street. Exceptional location within easy walk to the train...
