It’s hard to rate and give only a 3 as the room itself is very pleasant. The price and location are really good to! However…….check in is literally at 3pm as there is no one there to greet you. Secondly the rooms aren’t sound proof so I woke each and every night to the sound of people walking around in the other rooms, several times!! Lastly a point on location! If you intend to spend lots of time along the river or even across the river then this is 5/5. If you wish to roam the streets of the city then be mindful that the hills are like mountains to climb! On a couple of occasions we ordered an Uber for a couple of euros and then walked back, that’d be my top tip! Oh, almost forgot! There is a tram that literally runs past the front door so make sure you look left and right when exiting the building!…
I've been living in Porto for quite some time before traveling as a "tourist". Well, I had the chance to try several places before this one, and I got really surprised about several facts, I'll review them one by one. *Position* Well, you really can't beat this one here: right in front of Douro River, with several restaurants, bars and a supermarket nearby. You can take several buses here, including night buses, and a bike rental 30 meters from the location. *Room* Big room, fully furnished, super clean and with all comforts, fast internet connection, and even a coffee machine! Clean linens, towels, and air conditioning. What could you ask more? *Service* I arrived during the night at the hotel and I simply entered the place with a code and a card was already waiting for me to enter the room, without annoying bureaucracy Fun fact: this is my first day here, and I already love it: what are you waiting for? BOOK IT RIGHT AWAY.. The only thing that could bother somebody with a light sleep is the noise made by the wooden floor, but once I fell asleep, well I didn't have any trouble with that.…
Nice location and views overlooking the river. Close to city center and all attractions are within walking distance. Very reasonably priced and the staff is great. The apartments are spacious and nicely decorated.
Room No 12 overlooking beautiful Douro river . Smooth check in .Super clean, stunning room and an absolute gem host Christina , did extra mile to accomodate our request. Spotless hotel, centrally located , tram & buses right in front. Very busy street but Fabulous restaurants around the area. Highly recommended !! Well worth.. we’ll be back soon . Keep up the fabulous work!!
Location can’t be beat. Room was very clean and well appointed. Only disappointment was the hard bed. Staff were outstanding in their drive to make sure we were equipped to enjoy our visit to Porto. Would stay again (provided the beds are replaced).
I was lost in a airport called the hotel for directions and advice- excellent! Room was clean, lobby beautiful. Right on the river. Walking to every where. We were there for a wedding so lots of upsets. Hotel toke care of everything. Slept like babies .
I a hundred percent recommend this place, it's absolutely beautiful, it is modern, brand new, stylish and super clean. I could stay here for a month :) Stay in this place guys it's all very close to all the places you need to see in Porto. Amazing!!!
Seriously, wouldn't change a thing. The location is great, the hotel is such a cool modern style, with those awesome old walls, the hostesses are so sweet and helpful. And the housekeeping was immaculate... like extra mile. We look forward to only staying here on EVERY future visit.
Great location for walking exploration , and super clean -- Cristina & Marta extremely helpful and friendly. Thank you ladies !! - only very slight negative - a little busy on the street if you looking for quite
This tiny hotel has beautiful and spacious studio rooms and overlooks the Douro river. It is minutes away from most of the sites, although be prepared to walk up and down some steep hills. If you are so minded the ubiquitous sightseeing buses stop just across the road and the old tram terminus is a few yards away. The staff are really friendly and able to recommend where to go and, importantly, which tourist traps to avoid (e.g. most restaurants on the river-front). One thing to be aware of is the traffic noise. I was worried it would disturb us, and whilst it was noticeable we still got a good night’s sleep.
