Excellent restaurant. Small unassuming with a patio for dining. No smoking, the owner came to visit. We had cod fish and a salad. Wonderful presentation and good service. Also has a guesthouse attached to the restaurant.

We stayed here in October 2018. This was a great place to stay in Porto. It is a small old building on Rua Clérigos with a few small rooms up a steep staircase above a cozy cafe and port bar. We had a nice room, clean and comfortable with a nice bath and windows opening on to the lively street below, but still very quiet. The breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed a great port flight one afternoon in the cafe as well. The staff working here are wonderful. The location is fantastic, five minutes walk from Sao Bento, just down the block from the Torre Clérigos, and just out the back door are some nice cafes and a laundromat. Would love to stay here again.

I always read reviews of places I want to stay at before travelling. And generally I agree with them. But this case is ununderstandable!!!! The rooms so tiny 2 people cannot walk from one side of the bed to the other together: the place is SO small the bed has been tunnelled under the bathtub and has to be pulled out to be able to go to sleep!!! And still worse: the wc is INSIDE the room, with no door or wall dividing the space..., absolutely weird!!! No room for clothes , for bags or a single chair, simply impossible to be shared!!!

This is simply not even a guest house, simply rooms over a coffee shop. The girls in the shop were very busy when I checked in and so failed in the task of telling me about breakfast 9-12? The room, clean but very basic, one of the shelves almost fell off the wall when I put something on and there is no other furniture in the bedroom other than bed. E75 for one night is downright robbery

The room was small however absolutely enough....you do not need more...it was Clean...the stuff was very friendly...as a part of the guest house is also a wine bar where you can get your breakfast....the position of the house is very good...you are close to all places just by walking:)
