There a good reasons to come back: warmly welcome from Marta, Pedro and the staff, a good quarter for the first coffee and the last glass of wine, good advices for your stay in town an the surroundings. You don't feel a a guest...

A beautifully restored 19th century merchant's house; very welcoming, friendly and helpful proprietors, lovely breakfast. 20 minutes' flat walk to the city centre, 20 minutes' downhill walk to the riverside, and very close to a bus stop. Don't expect air conditioning or a tv in the room, but do look forward to Marta and Pedro's superb hospitality. Wholeheartedly recommended.

Absolutely adored this B&B. Breakfast was amazing, and had variety of choices for the few days we spent there. Walkable to city center, and got GREAT guidance from the owners about where to go, what to do etc. Absolutely no regrets!!

We stayed here for 4 nights commencing October 24th, 2016. From our initial email contact with Marta, one of the hosts who mostly handles emails, communication was excellent, both she and her husband, Pedro, together...

The rooms are large and comfortable (with a sample of port for you to enjoy)If you buy a tube/bus pass about 6 euros a day getting around is easy .There is a major bus stop 100 metres from the B&B turn right out of...

Porto's main attractions can easily be visited in two days and Porta Azul is the perfect base to do this from. It is a short (15 minute) walk down to the lively harbour or along the road to the city centre. Marta and Pedro welcomed us warmly after our early flight arrival and even provided us with breakfast, storing our...

We stayed in Porta Azul for 3 nights and this was one of our favorite places to stay in our 3 weeks journey thru Portugal. Marta, Pedro and staff were absolutely wonderful and really made us feel like family. The building itself is gorgeous and clean. Our room was on the street which worried me at first since I am...
