Absolutely adored this B&B. Breakfast was amazing, and had variety of choices for the few days we spent there. Walkable to city center, and got GREAT guidance from the owners about where to go, what to do etc. Absolutely no regrets!!

As an introduction my wife and I are Australian, aged 65 to 69 years, always travelled however in the past twenty years more regularly overseas. We stayed here for 4 nights commencing October 24th, 2016. From our initial email contact with Marta, one of the hosts who mostly handles emails, communication was excellent, both she and her husband, Pedro, together...

you will get a very warm welcome here along with a comprehensive guide to the city. The rooms are large and comfortable (with a sample of port for you to enjoy)If you buy a tube/bus pass about 6 euros a day getting around is easy .There is a major bus stop 100 metres from the B&B turn right out of...

Porto's main attractions can easily be visited in two days and Porta Azul is the perfect base to do this from. It is a short (15 minute) walk down to the lively harbour or along the road to the city centre. Marta and Pedro welcomed us warmly after our early flight arrival and even provided us with breakfast, storing our...

We stayed in Porta Azul for 3 nights and this was one of our favorite places to stay in our 3 weeks journey thru Portugal. Marta, Pedro and staff were absolutely wonderful and really made us feel like family. The building itself is gorgeous and clean. Our room was on the street which worried me at first since I am...

We booked four nights by mistake (confusion over flights) so only had three - but four would have been great! Marta and Pedro are lovely hosts, as is the girl who met us and talked us through things (sorry, I don't know her name). The rooms are spacious and have character; the location is good (a bit of a walk...

My wife and I spent two nights here and really enjoyed our stay as well as Porto. We had a larger room in the front of the house that my wife really liked. Lots or room and nice bathroom. French balcony overlooking the street. Don't worry about sunlight or noise because those shutters really work! We enjoyed a bottle of...

My husband and I stayed 4 nights at Porto Azul. We drove to Porto from Lisbon. We were happy to find parking across the street for 10€ a day. The hosts and staff were friendly and helpful. The B & B is located within walking distance from most points of interest. Streets in Porto are quite steep and some of...

My husband, our little daughter, 4 years old and I were visiting Porto for the first time. Porto Azul is the most wonderful quiet place with a lovely family, a very good breakfast and large and beautiful room. The pic is the lovely garden ! Bravo to Pedro, Marta and Filipa !

We stayed at this wonderful guest house.. Enjoyed the place.. Great rooms and breakfast.. But most of all - the excellent hospitality and service by Pedro.. You get an actual training session on Porto and how to make the best of your time.. Go there.. It's a must!
