I stayed here twice in two weeks and really loved this charming, friendly place. Staff are always helpful and welcoming, with plenty of suggestions for logistics and restaurants. The rooms are charming, some with balconies with views of the city and church spires. The bathrooms are small and need some more shelving, but the location more than makes up for... More

I visited with a tour. It was the best sized, brightest room I had in Portugal. I had 'B' in the basement however it included a good sized bathroom and a large light extra room with chairs and table. There was a door from this giving access to the sunny patio as well. The bathroom had a modern shower which... More

Once we overcame the problem of locating the hotel, Porto is a maze of one waynstreets and if you miss a turning you have had it for a while to get back on track, the Hotel was very nice. You cannot park at the hotel but they have an arrangement with a local public carpark, check details with hotel before... More

Centrally located in old Porto, walking distance to Sao Bento train station , plenty of shops and eateries and places to see nearby. Including Fado houses! I had a large ( for Europe! ) , comfortable bedroom / toilet with an attached sit out area , a few steps down from the reception floor. There is no lift but the... More

We loved our brief stay in this guest house in a renovated old building of Porto: the staff was very friendly, the rooms modern and reasonably spacious and we loved the great ambience that the exposed granite stone walls created. We were given the attic room and we loved it, despite the obvious restricted headspace and it was a far... More

Let me first say that there is much to like about the guesthouse: location, breakfast, price, friendly staff (I had no problems). But for a single with a shared bath, this was NOT a good experience. First off, there is no viable window; it is next to the ceiling, so no chance to know what the weather is. No fresh air,... More

Friendly and efficient staff, l had a lovely room on the top floor with a small balcony, very well presented, clean and large. The rooms are nicely decorated, and the hotel is well positioned although a good walk to the river front, but that's great for exploring. The city of Porto is beautiful and full of interesting things to do and... More

I'll start the review by stating that we paid €104 euros for 4 nights. So it was a very cheap stay in a central location. However given the option I'd spend more and stay elsewhere. You have to ring the bell everytime you want to get in and they can be slow answering the door (we knocked once as the... More

From initial impressions this place looks great. Cosy little rooms, friendly staff, great location etc. But this soon changes. The rooms soon become very claustrophobic and stuffy as there wasn't any natural light or windows to let any fresh air into the rooms. The noise is unbelievable. Admittedly we didn't hear the nightclubs as mentioned in other reviews however the... More

An average property at an Awesome location with adequate of everything. They could work on their WiFi Connection which was unstable and sluggish..As well as modifying their breakfast would be quite ideal. Overall I guess its a fine stay for the price you pay.
