Overbooked the room, unapologetic about this and no offering of any form of compensation! The main hostel manager tried to make me feel bad about the situation! He stated that if I really didn’t want the extra person there, the person would have to sleep on the streets! The hostel manger and the front desk woman (she wears braces) handle... More

Really nice, spacious rooms. A bonus was that each bed has a small bedside table next to it (including the top bunk). I wear glasses, so this was very appreciated as I always struggle to figure out where to put them at night. The staff were friendly, welcoming, took me on a tour of everything and thoroughly explained where everything... More

Stunning hostel, peaceful, relaxing, loads of space. Clean, great breakfast. Staff are obviously very happy in their jobs as they are all lovely and helpful always. The evening meal is really good- like a family meal. No loud parties or drunken idiots here! The area is great- loads of lovely cafes, bars, small shops and street art. Supermarket across the... Amazing building, great location and delicious dinners each night. Would definitely recommend to anyone! The staff are also very lovely and super helpful. They can give great recommendations and also do a fantastic free walking tour each morning.

For a family it would be nicer to sleep in double & twin beds. We had a good sleep because of the use of AC, outside temperature was 34 Celsius! Nice people were staying in this hostel and a free walking tour was a good start of the day. We learned about which things would be worth visiting after te... More

There are excellent reviews for this hostel and they are justified. This is a very special place. Facilities and rooms were excellent. They are cleaned daily to a hotel standard, I would even find clothes I had left around neatly folded on my bed for me. The location is not central but very close to most sights and is surrounded... Wow! Wow! Wow! Stunning place to stay! Could not recommend it more! Stayed in a deluxe suite at “Gallery Home” in July 2016. This is a hostel, but felt more like a boutique hotel! Huge spacious room with high ceilings, luxurious bed with good quality linens, spa-like bathroom, cute private balcony, gorgeous shared sitting room, kitchen and back patio. The... More

We had a twin room in the Gallery Home which is across the road from the hostel. The staff were friendly and there was much activity there. Each room is beautiful and has art on the walls. The breakfast was a buffet type which was laid out fresh each day in the kitchen downstairs. The rooms were cleaned daily.
