It's in a good location outside of the tourist bustle of Porto if you enjoy walking. About 2km from bus station and under 1km to train station (Carolina Michaelins). We had a balcony room which was probably only about 15sqm but had a lovely big terrace overlooking the neighbourhood. Comfortable location for a few days exploring the city.

I was visiting Portugal with my friend who found and reserved this family running hotel for our 3 days in Porto during the weekend of Easter. When we arrived, we were welcomed by a very kind stuff who well balanced being friendly and professional. The room was very clean, perfect decorated with useful items and elegance. The place was quite... More

Hotel Brasilia is a 2 star hotel near the train station Laps, which is very good connected to the city centre. If you like walking like us, you only have to walk 15/20 minutes to reach the centre. The first attractive street with some shops, I would say, it's Cedoifeita, which is pretty close to the accommodation. We asked for... More

Nice hotel conveniently located not so far from the main tourist path. You can easly explore the center of Porto just walking from the hotel. The rooms are not small, breakfast is good. Value for money.

Room à little small, and bed much smaller than usual. But the hôtel is clean, the breakfast delicious and delightful. Simple and charming. The personnel discreet efficient, with a smile never far away.

At first we were given a room with no toiletries and no kettle (as discribed) and a room itself was big disappointment, but staff was so kind and gave as much better room and charged only 20 Eur extra. Still there was poor lightning for reading and walls were really thin. Breakfast included only basics... Not the best location and... More

Stayed at the Hotel and the staff is nice and attentive, rooms are great and breakfast delicious. Seems that you are at home. It is near Casa da Música and of downtown. Great deal at an affordable price.

My husband and I stayed here with our 18 month old daughter. We chose the family room, which, was HUGE - given the age of the building. There was a separate seating area from the common sleeping area. There was a full bathroom. Breakfast was included in the price. It was typical continental breakfast faire (bread, pastries, meats, cheese, butter,... More

Our reservation at the neighboring Alvares Cabral was lost so we were booked, first at the Mira D'aire, then at the Brasilia. The room was clean, bed was good, and bath was modern. Breakfast was European and good. At 55 euros in August such a deal.

Stayed here alone for 4 nights and found this to be a great, inexpensive get away! Hotel is very old and traditional, big deep baths and sparkling clean rooms. Hotel staff are very friendly, and although speak little English (hey, you ARE in Portugal!), I found I could get by ok with just a few words of Portuguese. The enthusiasm... More
