Where to begin. Firstly we stayed in the old building that was not in the same building as reception. Now from the beginning, me and my partner booked a double room and two friends booked a dorm. I was shown to a 4 bed dorm and told that this was my private room and when I enquired why it wasn't... More

BEWARE! This place has two buildings. I assume any good reviews come from the main one. If you happen to stay at the second building you are SCREWED!!! it's dirty, infested with BEDBUGS, falling apart! everything was broken: no toilet seats, no locks, no security, broken showers! the water was pouring from the ceiling when someone upstairs showered. One of... More

Perhaps the dorms are better, but we got a private en-suite room. The bathroom was tragic, but my boyfriend and I had a good laugh at the shower because he is 6'5" and the shower was about 5'5". The bed was RIDIC. Also made for tiny people and definitely not big enough for two people. But the worst part was... More

The location is great because it's close to an underground station and to the night life spot. The room is not bad (I slept in a double room and there was the toilet and a tv) but it was so cold. The doorkeeper doesn't speak english and it was so difficult to explain him that the cooker was broken.

The worst thing was there were bedbugs in our room and 2 of us got bites all over. I had to go to the hospital once I got back home and got to throw out my clothes and suitcase. Thought the staff were nice, they didn't change our room there. They didn't return us the money either. Lo peor fue... More

I just arrived in Porto and was able to find the hostel within minutes. One of my favorite things about it was the staff, in particular Manuel who sat down with me for an hour and helped me plan out my whole visit. This guy was amazing! You don't usually find staff at these kind of places who literally double... More

The reception is away from the hostel, so it really feels unsafe. I was alone in that old house for 2 nights. If something happened I coudn't count with anyone. It was always durty (wich is not the cleaning lady's fault, because she's one to do the 2 hostels that share de reception). They don't have a stove, so if... More

We stayed there for three nights. There is great common room with comfy sofas. It was really clean and nice inside. Located not far from the centre. Staff was helpful and friendly. The prices were not too high as for the standard.
