Porto Spot Hostel offers great rooms, great fun in an architectural milestone, fully refurbished for your comfort. Porto Spot Hostel is here to surprise you.Located in the city center, in a 5 min walk from the airport tube, Spot is close to all the beauties of this world heritage city: Clerigos Tower, Old town, Port Wine cellars, night life (at a sound proof distance). Our friendly staff will love to give you all the tourist information, and also those hints you won't find in a guide. The building was constructed in 1935, and was designed by Armenio Losa, well known Portuguese architect. It is one fine example of Estado Novo, a Portuguese style born out of Art Deco. The refurbishment respected the building's originality, adding the expectable amenities of modern comfort. The rooms are spacious, each one with its unique decoration, with key card access, large beds and free security lockers. We also offer you a bar and a nice patio where you can rest at the end of your day, and where we serve our famous dinners daily.A fully equipped kitchen is available, were you can cook your meal if you ever get tired of the fantastic food you will find around town (ask our staff for tips). The living room and the media room will also make your delights. The hostel offers free internet points and free wi-fi is fully available inside the house. We also have a tourist corner where you can find information about the city and its surroundings. Our staff will be more than happy to give you tips on the places you can't miss, and make you a tailor made routing for your stay.Every day we organise walking tours, for you to get to know those special places only locals know. We also organise pub crawls, to be sure you have the best night Porto can offer.

Detailed Reviews
We stayed 5 nights (27/09 - 02/10) in this hotel. The rooms a verry clean, everyday housekeeping and clean towels. Comfortable beds with two types of pillows. Breakfast is Okey.
Most of the staff are verry vriendly and helpfull. Only the last 3 days at day time the was a girl at desk with a attitude, she didn't say hello one's and didn't where a mask (only the day when we checked out). But the other lady's at the desk where verry polite. The hotel is verry good located, you can walk to all the toerist hotspots. And metro and busses nearby.
I think it will be hard to find a better hotel in this price range in a centered location like this.
If we will come to Porto again we will definitely stay at Spot Hotel again.

Everyone from the staff, to the other travellers were so welcoming and super. The hostel was always clean, and even had maids who came and made the beds, mopped, cleaned bathrooms etc.
I stayed in an 8 bed mixed dorm, had no faults with my stay.
Loved the onsite bar, and breakfast also being included.
The staff were very welcoming, would highly recommend.

Great hostel with nice people. Good for going on foot to the city centre. Attention was great. Good breakfast (taking into account that was free). Miss bedrooms not being a little more warmer in the winter, in bed with the quilt was good.

amazing hostel, good breakfast, super clean. they take covid-19 safety protocol very serious. we had private room with view to main street. super quiet. the room is big and great decor. the bad is extremely big and comfortable pillows. we were able to do very early check-in . is close to main attraction, all within walks distance. prefer place you wanna stay close to city center but away from noise. no need to take a taxi to city center is within walking distance and great restaurants close to hostel.

Excellent hostel, located in the center of Porto. As a group we had 2 8-person rooms with no complaints. Neat rooms, excellent beds, excellent sanitary facilities. Enough space for your things. Nice general area and breakfast room. Fine, simple breakfast but nothing to complain about. Cleaning every day. Top hostel!

This hostel was lovely. I stayed for 2 nights and it was a good experience. The breakfast was good and the chill out area was relaxing. The room was good although the top bunk was a little squeaky! You don’t need a padlock here as they give you a key for your draw. The hostel was clean, they make your bed and the shower was good.

Great location. Clean facilities and lots of space to lounge or hangout. The rooms with en-suite are spacious. I enjoyed the restaurants and shops available across the street on Rua do Santa Catarina.
