PortoBay Flores is a 5-star hotel located in the historic centre of the city of Porto.
With a great location on Rua das Flores (pedestrian access), right next to Misericórdia Church, the hotel is within easy walking distance of the city’s main tourist attractions. This hotel with 500 years of history a fusion of the Classic and the Contemporary and is comprised of two different buildings: a 16th-century palace and a new wing, built from scratch.
The PortoBay Flores has 66 rooms and suites, a restaurant, a bar with access to Rua das Flores, a spa, a gym and a small indoor pool with natural light. It also has a meeting room, a reading room and an 18th-century chapel. The landscaped patio is a calm and peaceful area in which to relax in the heart of the city.

PortoBay Flores is situated in a perfect location to explore all that Porto has to offer. Walking distance to everything, just remember the hills are killer and does a number on your shoes LOL! A prime energetic location with restaurants and bars right outside your front door. But once you enter the hotel you are in another world. Elegance and comfort surround you. Mixing old with new. The lobby area is inviting to sit and chat about your day. The front desk staff are wonderful and could answer any question asked of them. Our room had a wonderful view, no balcony but just a small step out from the glass doors to enjoy the city views and nighttime magic. Cleanliness was A+. The breakfast buffet was vast and had lots of choices to be enjoyed in a beautiful dining area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitate to return!…

This is amongst my favorite hotels ever! We've been fortunate to travel quite a bit these past years, but we'd never made it to Portugal. Everything about this hotel and city was special and I'd recommend it to anyone. I wrote the hotel from the U.S. and they arranged a private car pickup from the airport. Because the hotel is located on a pedestrian only street, it takes a special permit for door to door delivery and the hotel did it perfectly. The location is right in the middle of the city and walkable to most everything we were interested in seeing. The room itself was twice as big as where we'd just been in London and Paris, and half the price. Great bed, bathroom, and lots of room to spread out. The hotel dining room is exceptional! We had the daily full breakfast and had dinner once. There is also a wonderful hotel lobby bar with well made drinks and lots of food choices for a snack or full meal. It's rare that I don't have a single negative or suggestion...I just wish to return ASAP. Special place.…

wow.........where to start!! We stayed for a long-weekend city break. Short transfer to the hotel from the airport (45 euros by taxi). Location outstanding, in the middle of the 'old town' area, close to river and shops. Very very quiet with no outside or inside noise. We stayed in a 'palace room' (recommended). Spa was excellent. Staff were excellent - the whole weekend stay was excellent!!!!

The staff and amenities were wonderful! The bed was extremely comfortable and we enjoyed our morning breakfasts! We were with a group of 21 and loved that we could meet in the lobby or at the bar. The weather was the only gray spot in our vacation, but typical for Porto for this time of year. We loved our stay!

Hotel was central to all the port lodges and river cruises etc. Hotel staff and facilities were great, breakfast was excellent 👌 would definitely re book. Nice bar area with the added bonus of spa facilities

We stayed in room 702 for two days. For the 2nd day, we put the tag for “House Keeping” at 10:30am, however no one came to clean the room until we returned our room at 13:00 pm, we dialed house keeping at 15:30pm, there was no one pick up the phone, then we asked reception to clean the room around 16:00 pm, they noted it down but our room was the same when we returned around 20:30 pm. So we have to ask the reception again to clean the room. The answer was it was impossible but they could send some water. However, unfortunately we did not receive any water or other services until we check out. I could not believe we stayed in a five star hotel. I assume even a motel won’t ignore their guests like this. Really bad experience stay here.
