So we had one day in braga, beautiful city with lots to see! Checked in at around 9pm the checkin staff had no greetings whatsoever n the restaurant was closed. Hotel lobby was alright but rooms are all one story down, super low ceiling n cheap looking room and bathroom. More like a 2 star room. Smelled awful. Next day...

The hotel lies in a nice ancient building. The areas and rooms are adequate, the decoration is contemporary and tasteful, the staff is helpful. The location, while not being perfect, is quite reasonable. The meals at the restaurant are boring and have too much cheese on top of them, the breakfast could be upgraded as well. A good option in...

Forget the characterless chain hotels, this gem is all about Portugal and offers really good value for money. More of a pension than an hotel. General areas were cold and bedrooms too warm. There is a restaurant attached but it does not belong to the hotel. Situated in the middle of a busy roundabout. Breakfast was poor, bar area not very welcoming. Will be staying elsewhere when I return to Braga.

A very nice old house, a beautiful garden, a comfortable room, good breakfast and friendly staff in the bar and in the reception. This hotel is approximately 10 min from centre of town and a nice cathedral. Tip for a nice trip is hill Bom Jesus with the old funicular.
