A New Hospitality Concept Everlasting Elegance! Hospitality is an art, and Moon & Sun Braga Hotel has made of it a masterpiece. In a new concept of bespoke tourism, Moon & Sun Braga Hotel has taken common sophistication and turned it into spontaneous personalization. The Moon & Sun Braga Hotel is not a luxury hotel, it is an incredibly personal place, where demanding travellers find the exclusivity they relish. Located in an iconic but intimate street, addressed in the heart of Braga turistic centre, you’ll find what can be found nowhere else: a hotel built around a secular city, inspiring suites, and experiences tailored to your lifestyle. Our goal is to make your stay a portrait of life! And to make it better than perfect! Booking at Hotel Moon & Sun Braga is more than just a 'chance encounter'! It is a lifestyle that goes far beyond the passion for travel. The scene is set for you to live the sophisticated contemporary style in contrast to the city's iconic history heritage. Upon entering the hotel you're absorbed by the evocative design of the paintings by Pedro Guimarães, timeless symbols of art and beauty. Gray, copper and marble create a soft atmosphere of implicit sophistication. A pervasive art that gives the spaces refinement and comfort. The Moon & Sun Braga is a distinguished and exquisite 25-room hotel in Braga, which includes 3 premium rooms, with magnificent balconies overlooking the city and S. Francisco Church. The 30-years-old building has been fully restored, respecting the original exterior design and giving to the distinctive location of the hotel a unique style and heritage. Built in 1690, the S. Francisco Church and its Baroque style is framed in the bedroom window and balcony, mirroring the sense of the past outside in contrast to the modern and comfortable interior design. Classic and contemporary merge into an everlasting elegance! The soft materials, the cozy beds and the sober and exquisite décor give the rooms a refined atmosphere, the perfect "behind the scenes" for a memorable city experience.

It's very evident that customer service is a top priority at Moon & Sun. I could mention so many examples of times when the staff tried their best to make our stay as pleasant as possible. One particular story is worth mentioning. We were travelling home on a sunday and had to leave when breakfast started in order to make our flight. In order to accomodate us they moved breakfast 30 minutes so that we could have breakfast before we left. They even set out a chair for our one year old and set ready a plate for him. We had a great stay (despite the rain pouring down) much because of the excellent service.

Hotel Moon and Sun is a fantastic place to stay. It is very central, clean and comfortable but what makes it extra special are the wonderful staff. I cannot speak highly enough of John and Iris who helped make our stay one to remember. We will be back.

I went to this hotel during the Braga Romana festival, it is well located in the heart of Braga. The room has a modern look, small but functional with large TV. Bathroom is just perfect. Very clean, excellent service, arrival with a complementary glass of Port wine and a water bottle in the room, spotless. There is a terrace on the roof, despite the proximity of the church right in front which cuts off the view a little, it is nice. Good lunch variety with a nice quality of products. It's a 4 star at a good price. I will go back without any hesitation.

Braga is a great city for a relaxed weekend and Moon & Sun is an outstanding hotel. Located on a pedestrianised street within a 5-10 minute walk of the cathedral and a great selection of restaurants and bars. Staff were extremely welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. Good sized air conditioned bedrooms with very comfortable beds. Excellent buffet breakfast with eggs, pancakes etc cooked to order. Highly recommended.

We have been traveling for months and this hotel was our favorite. A real gem! The staff, Iris, Joao, and Agnes were absolute angels. They helped us plan day trips as well as resolve a car rental issue. We could not have been happier with this hotel.

Moon and Sun was truly a' home away from home'. It was a real delight. Brilliantly located and comfortable, I wish all stays could be this good. The reception staff was lovely, very helpful and friendly. We felt so welcome. The room was very clean, well appointed and restful. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom clean and spacious. We were there only 2 nights but we will go back there next time we visit Braga. We recommend it to all other travellers.

I stayed at Hotel Moon and Sun for 3 nights when I was on a business trip. I can say that it has been the best city hotel I have stayed at. It is a small, cozy hotel with modern comfortable rooms. All staff were professional, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing with high quality goods. There were freshly baked Portuguese pastries like pastel de nata in addition to croissants, pan au chocolate, etc. There was a good selection of fruits, cheeses and cold cuts. Though it is at a centric location it was really quiet. My colleagues were impressed too. The last day we needed to leave before the breakfast time. We asked the night manager if he could provide us with a bit of pastry before we left. He had prepared all before the time of the breakfast. We were all impressed and we would definitely stay at this hotel next time we are in Braga.

Wonderful welcome from the staff, check in was a breeze. Location is perfect, right in the centre of the old town just minutes from the Cathedral. The room, bathroom and hotel was spotlessly clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was very nice with a good selection of fruits, breads and hot food each morning. The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to help, the reception staff helped us organise a trip to the national park with no hassle and checked with us afterward to see if we enjoyed it! I would definitely recommend staying here if in Braga. 🙂

We booked an Executive Room for 3 nights at M&S Braga. The room was nothing like the pictures. No desk or table, no bench for luggage, small room overall. I wouldn't have minded if I had not specifically booked a larger room. When I asked the front desk to move us to a larger room, I was told they were fully booked. Not true, could still get a room online. Coffee was a tea kettle shoved in the closet. We had to ask for instant coffee and cups to be supplied every day. The worst was the overcharging. We reserved the room with one credit card, but at check-out we paid with a different card. We checked out one day early, and the hotel charged our other card for an extra night. M&S may have gotten a free night on us, but as frequent travelers, we will never stay at any M&S again.

We almost decided to skip Braga and so glad we did not! What a charming, beautiful city with great food! This is a wonderful boutique hotel offering a welcome drink, an accessible rooftop and discounted parking at the nearby shopping mall. Very convenient to all. I highly suggest saving up your appetite or getting your work out on the stairs at Bom Jesus, because we had some really excellent meals in Braga. The hotel was quiet, Room 303 was a little on the small side, but clean, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Staff was really great and helpful. There is also a bar and small dining area where breakfast is served. We did not partake, as there are cafes and pastry shops nearby.
