Bad location, the comings and goings to the main places were 8km, or 6km away, or the center 4km. You shoud think, but you had a car and a parking in the motel, but no, because the roads to all the touristic places were ruins, narrow and with a lot of small curves. Result, everything turned out to be a lie about how close is casa da rocha to the attractions , for ex. because of the traffic we spent more than one hour to arrive to Palacio da Pena (8km) the most important attraction of Sintra, and when you arrive you don't have places to park, it destroyed my nerves. No restaurants nor supermarkets close casa da rocha. No public transportation to the center or we didn't see it and parking at the center is not easy. Our room wasn't like the photos, it was clean but basic. At night one of the guests closed the door with slams very late and talked in loud voice. The price was neither high nor low. Value for money but does not really rate as highly as the reviews of some web pages rating would suggest. The last two days we moved to Ibis Sintra for the same price and better comfort. To summarize, may be this place wasn't suitable for us, but we didn't like it…
