Gaspar House is in a building from 1951, has high ceilings and the most beautiful Paquet in the world. ;-) It's located in the heart of Lisbon, 4 subway stations away from the touristic center. Subway Station "Areeiro" is right in front of the door. The Airport is only 5 minutes away by taxi or bus. By subway are about 15 min. The train to Sintra is just around the corner. The train to Belem, Estoril and Cascais is at the end of our subway line. Lisbon Guest House neighborhood is very well considered in the City. It is elegant and friendly. A certain touch „bourgeois“. I'd like my guests to get to know Lisbon as if they would be living here. Don't hesitate to ask if you'd like to know where to go, what to see, to eat or drink. For it's a 5 room flat, we ask for some attention and quiteness to not disturbe.

Spent 3 fantastic nights at Gaspar's house. Beautiful apartment, spotlessly clean, our bedroom was huge with it's own private bathroom. The host Gasper is a lovely person, so kind ,helpful and very knowledgeable about Lisbon and the surrounding areas. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful! All fresh and organic food. Great location, 1 minute walk to the metro to take you into Lisbon centre. Gaspar's house is highly recommended when visiting Lisbon.

I came off the airplane to Portugal tired, grumpy, and frumpy. Naturally, I might have wallowed in this state for a day or two... or until I realized “I am in Portugal!” Thankfully, due to the incredible hospitality and personality of Gaspar himself, this wallowing was quickly put away. It took us about 5 minutes to find this gem of a hotel, once off the taxi, but there immediately greeting us with a firm handshake and a host of intelligent questions about our flight was Gaspar. He went above and beyond to inform us how we could best enjoy our brief stay in Portugal. From where to visit and how to get there, what strategies to use to avoid jet lag, weather forecasting... nothing was too much or too difficult for this guy. The Gaspar house is a 10 star quality establishment, tended to personally by this amazing Portuguese. He treats each guest like a friend... and by the end of your stay, signing his guest book... you will have found a spirit of friendship not just in Gaspar or his establishment, but in Portugal itself.

Gaspar House is located in a safe local residential building across from Areeiro subway surrounded by great restaurants and supermarket. The place is decorated in a very stylish way. Premises are peaceful and safe. Our room #3 spacious and spotlessly clean. Two double wide bed offered a good sleep. Breakfast, served on a nice dining table, which included homemade butter and raspberry Jam, Yogurt warm bread, cereals, coffee and juice. Mr. Gasper was a wonderful host. He communicated with me prior to my arrival and sent me a lot of useful information. He also helped us to get a good seating at a highly sought Fado music restaurant. I enjoyed my chat with him and learned a lot from it. He knew 6 languages so no matter which country you come from, he would not had problem to communicate with you in your native tongue. So, if you are looking for a distinctive and comfortable accommodation, still at a reasonable price, don't hesitate to choose Gaspar House!

Gaspar's Guesthouse is just wonderful. It is a very welcoming accommodation that almost feels like a home away from home. Gaspar is the most welcoming host and offers an array of tips and recommendations for food, tours and sightseeing sights. I would recommend his house to everyone.

This is without a doubt the best place I have ever stayed in. Gaspar is welcoming and truly engages with guests on a friendship level. He provides us with a feeling of comfort. He offered various ways to get to know this beatiful city. The room and the shared spaces were spotless clean and very cosy and comfortable. I loved our "family breakfasts" with other travellers. So happy that I got this recommontation from a friend of mine in Munich. See you soon again Gspar.
