Twenty three of comfort, sympathy and a pinch of elegance. We love the smell of flowers in the morning, hot coffee and freshly baked bread. Each room has a flat screen TV and satellite channels, coffee machine and kettle. There's also a hair dryer and free Wi-Fi, breakfast in the bedroom and a smile. Lisbon feels warm and pleasant in this special little corner near Praça das Flores, never so beautiful and cozy. We're always here to help, so just let us know and we'll see what we can do.

We stayed for 3 nights in a superior double room without breakfast. Lots of good points, the staff are friendly and very helpful and the room was clean and had all the basics that we needed. There are a few little cafes and restaurants within walking distance. The price is very fair for what you get. Check in and check out are speedy and easy. We were offered water and a chocolate on arrival. The bed was large and comfortable. The towels were good. Security felt good and the area felt safe. A few little flaws though which would decide for us not to return to this guest house, personal choice. Like the whole of Lisbon, it's in a very hilly part of town and quite a long walk into the centre (shopping and Alfama). The soundproofing to the road was excellent but between the rooms it's not so good. You can hear feet clomping around above you and amorous people next door haha. The free toiletries are minimal, tiny bit of soap, shower gel and shampoo. No conditioner or shower cap. The hairdryer did not turn off unless you unplugged it. No milk for making tea/coffee and no instant coffee. Very steep stairs. Luckily the guy at reception changed our booking from the top floor to the first floor. We were in 104 Some of the bedroom furniture is a little tatty and not just shabby chic. Overall we had a good 3 days but next time we would stay nearer the centre and would hope for better soundproofing between the rooms.

It was a pleasure to stay in this guesthouse a few days. Room are very comfortable, good location, near a very quiet place (with many good bars and restaurants). If any noise in the morning, you can close the windows and put the clim. Rooms are independant one to another and I get a small but very cosy private bathroom. 15 minutes walking from city center, and a good welcome with Sergio and Catarina. Really a good location for a reasonnable price. Benoit

The Flores Guest House is an amazing hotel which made our trip to Lisbon absolutely amazing. The staff is very friendly, professional and always eager to help out in case of questions. The hotel is about 5 to 10 minutes walking distance from metro station Rato. The main street (Rossio station) is about 15 minutes walking distance from the hotel. We rarely used the metro as the walking distance is definitely doable. Also important, there are many lovely restaurants nearby the hotel’s vicinity. The rooms are quite nice and the breakfast is absolutely amazing. There's a coffee machine + water boiler in your room, perfect to compliment your breakfast. The bathroom is a little bit small, but it is definitely ok. The reason I have given 4 stars instead of 5 is related to below con’s: My partner and I did not have a two-persons bed, but there were two beds put next to each other. This was not ideal ofcourse. Next to that, the beds were not very comfortable. The second con has more to do with the bathroom: We had a strong sewer smell coming out of the shower, which is most likely because of the rain (We stayed here in December). Luckily we could just leave the bathroom window open and the door closed, which solved it for us. Even though there were two minor criticisms, I would highly recommend the Flores Guest House. We absolutely loved it.

Very good location of guest house, the bus stop to/from metro just behind the corner. It took 45 minutes to get there from airport by public transport. Easy to reach many attractions of Lisbon centre by foot or buses. My room was exactly as it was on the photos when I booked, so no disappointment. Yes, it is right three is no lift and steps are very steep in the house as it is old building. So don't bring big luggages. However, help will be offered to you if you need it. I arrived earlier than official check in was and just left my suitcase in reception and went to explore Lisbon. When I come back all was in my room and I don't need to worry about anything, just had a nice shower and went for drink in park across the road. Next morning I started with walk in the botanical garden 5 minutes away from hotel. Of course after nice breakfast that was left next my room in the basket. Receptionist asked me on check in what is my preference for breakfast and I got exactly I was promised plus beautiful sunshine. The only complaint, my neighbor, who departed early morning 6 am was not taking in the account that hotel's walls do not have good soundproof isolation. All girls at the the reception were very nice and extremely helpful. Room was clean with comfortable bed. I did not spend much time in the room, but slept good there. Wear comfortable shoes when you go to see Lisbon, there many hills up and down.
