If you are staying a night or two this place is ideal. Close to all the attractions and main shopping areas and the metro not far. That all said there are two obstacles about this place. The place is on the third floor so that's six fights of stairs up and the other obstacles is that the room is on the small side so ideally suited to the budget, solo traveller or a couple who want it cheap and cheerful. Staff really so nice could not do enough. Place is an old building that's been renovated. I would stay here again on my own but if as a couple I would stay somewhere in this location

Very friendly staff, clean room. Some room can be a bit small but authentic. Common living room which is very cozy. Breakfast in neighbouring Palácio das Especiarias was very good and reception area with bar was really great.

I had a fantastic stay in Casinha das Flores. The buildings are gorgeous, beautifully fitted out in historic decor whilst possessing all the modern amenities I needed. The staff were wonderful too - so helpful, welcoming and kind. The breakfasts they serve are something else, consisting of a selection of hot food and a huge array of sweets and cakes, plus delicious Portuguese coffee and cold juices. There are also biscuits, cakes and fruit, as well as hot drinks available throughout the day, so you are not likely to go hungry if you stay here. Last but not least, Casinha das Flores is super centrally located, and near a metro, so getting around couldn't be easier. I'll be visiting again! Thank you Casinha das Flores!

This hotel was outstanding. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Secure entrance. Outstanding breakfast served at the sister hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location. Walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Note: Check in and breakfast are at the sister hotel around the corner.

The staff went out of their way to provide excellent service in English and many recommendations. The fado night they put on was also excellent. The hotel was more like a cute cottage and we loved it for the short time we were there. Only tricky part off the bat was finding the check-in place (around the corner!)
