The day I left was the day the owner planned some major renovations, during the last week of November. As some say, the devil is the details. The building is beautiful, solid and secure, the access codes almost daunting, the area very central, by a fabulous linear park with, as handy neighbours, an underground shopping mall - El Corte Ingles...

This is a nice hostel. Far from the best in Lisbon, but okay for the price. Pros: -Very close to a metro station (Parque) -Free breakfast (toast, cereal, tea and coffee, cake) -Nice lounge, sofa, tv, outdoor area -No curfew Cons: -Wifi only works in the kitchen or lounge, not in the rooms. -Not very secure. It's on the ground...

The hostel has a cool flair. Every dorm is decorated with a special music genre like country, disco, jazz, ...! It is located near the city center (just 4 stops by metro) and has a parking spot (9 € per day) near by. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The rooms and bathrooms were ok but not super clean!...

Hostel was fine, really fine. It was clean, you get towels. Also, stuff is very helpful and polite. The hostel is very close to blue line metro station (100 m) and to the red line metro station (less than 500 m - it is the line which goes to airport). So going to city center is very easy and fast...

Had a very comfortable stay at Music Hall. It's small and quiet, nicely decorated and the rooms are themed with different styles of music. Big bathroom and a lot of space in the room (had a 4-dorm), and an extra + for really comfortable beds. The breakfast is nothing special but is included. The staff are nice aswell and happy...

Its a nice a place to stay and strategically located and easy to find a taxi to your destination. The workers are kind and ready to help. They have free wifi connections, single shared rooms for females and males and they have mixed rooms that are shared by males and females. Prices are moderate with a clean bath room.

The Music Hall was a cute place with nicely themed music rooms and a cosy little balconette - a small place with a domestic style kitchen and living room/bar - however only one bathroom/shower (1 for males, 1 for females). The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable, with power points at each bunk (very important for me). However...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Music Hall was planned and designed by two friends, who shared the travelling passion and decided to open a space with a global topic in their hometown where they could share and live cultural expression that is music. Our idea is to pay tribute to a component of society that influences generations, creates styles, develops ideas and connects people from all social strata. We hope to welcome in this space music lovers, musicians and onlookers. There are constant activities in support of artists, from all different genres. All with Music as a link. We believe that the passion that we have devoted to establishing this project will extend to all that will gratify us with their presence. We wait for you all to join us on this journey that we believe will be unforgettable. We have a maximum attendance of 26 people Two private beedrooms, on doble room (Boogie Nights) and one triple (Country) with capacity for four people, if needed. Three shared rooms, one of 6 bed dorm - mixed (Jazz), other of 8 bed dorm - mixed (Rock) and another of 6 bed dorm - ladies only (Eletronic). As for common areas, we have a living room with all needed comfort to relax while listening every genre of music and that has a bar ready to join the great atmosphere with a great drink, like a great lyrics asks for. We also have Tasca do Fado (kitchen) where we provide all you need to prepare your own meal. On top of that, we have a great offer of snacks created specially for those bellies who can already sing for food. Outdoors you can all enjoy our reggae garden designed for those who appreciate a bit o fresh air after a full day of discoveries. As bathrooms, there is only dedicated only for ladies and another for gentlemen. Whoever needs a quicker option, we have a wc for those urgent subjects. This is just stratocaster's tip, there are still our ticket office, infamous hall and a whole bunch of details that will surely surprise you. If you want the show to start, just show up. We have a place reserved for you. ... more   less
