We stayed five days in a standard double room. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and supportive in case of problems. The room itself was cosy and well-furnished. There was a TV and air-conditioning. In addition, the room was serviced every day. The hotel is labeled as "clean and safe" , an initiative from the Portuguese government , related to Covid. I can totally confirm that - surfaces in the lobby and restaurant were cleaned several times a day. The only thing which could be improved in my opinion is to add a little variety to the breakfast. When staying for a longer period, you get tired of having the same things every morning but maybe due to Covid, part of the buffet got cut off. Overall a very good place to stay. We would come back here again on a next visit.
In the heart of Lisbon from which you can walk, ride, drive, tuk-tuk or even stay in the hotel, we had a corner room which had a 180 view of parts of Lisbon, the hotel staff were very accommodating breakfast was good, bar well stocked, with a wide choice of restaurants and things to do right outside the door all for a very good price. We had a room upgrade when we checked in, from standard room to a suite which was on corner which gave lots of space, with good views. The bathroom also had a hot tub. Hotel staff were Friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included as buffet style. Easy access from the airport, Picoas Metro station outside the main door to hotel, so only one change from airport at Saldanha. Buý the combined daily metro/bus/tram pass at the metro station for €6.50 the pass lasts 24hrs but only available from a metro station. Use bus 736 to the historic area of Lisbon takes about 15 minutes. Best tram trip is on tram 28. Most coffee shops a coffee and a cake for two was under €5. Also checkout the indoor market at Cais do Sodre and the market cafe.
We can to Portugal on a 10 day vacation and we stayed in different hotels in different cities. So far, this hotel is the best of all . Very nice location and the rooms are to notch. The staff are super nice. We will consider it again next trip.
modest hotel, newly refurbished small clean rooms, basic beds, decent breakfast, interesting room rates for a large international and hystorical city like Lissabon (indeed I personally wouldn‘t pay more for this type of rooms), close to subway, nice helpful staff, I recommend if the hotel guest does not have some sort of high expectations....
