We booked a 4 day stay with Epic Sana in April. When we arrived in June they said we didn't have a reservation . When I showed them their confirmation email, they said they didn't know what happened but would be happy to book us a new reservation at a higher price. We were tired from traveling all day so we took the reservation. They never apologized but said we were lucky they didn't charge us a lot more. We asked if they could book us a reservation at a local restaurant and call us with the reservation time. They never did. The hotel is newer and has a nice indoor pool and spa. The location is not great.
I did travel to Lisbon with my family (cousins) for a short trip to take care of family business. The hotel is great! Well located, near to a mall and not too far from the center. We did not want to stay in the hustle and bustle of the city so this hotel was an excellent compromise. Pedro, the Valet, has been extraordinary with us. As we do not speak Portuguese, he made sure that our every move by car was done properly and assigned each and every driver accordingly. Very very professional and friendly. The same goes for the people at the reception, they took great care of every request from us and made sure we were comfortable. I do not remember her name, but 1 lady at the reception made a reservation for us at the best Fado restaurant in town and made sure we had the best table as well. She doesn't know yet but she made our night perfect. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family and will certainly go back again on my next trip to Lisbon. I simply loved the experience.…
Obrigada Epic Sana Hotel! Wow what a treat to stay at this place! 🤩 At this 5 star hotel you can enjoy life very easily 😎 First of all… Mimosa and Chocolate Fountain at the breakfast buffet! Do I need to say any more? 🥂😋 After we came home the first evening, we got a wonderful surprise. The staff had served a bottle of wine, water, and a plate of tasty goodies at our room. 😋 What can I say- High level of service, classy interior design, live music in the lobby in the evenings, nice roof top pool and lounge area, spacious rooms with a good workplace, lovely food and absolutely amazing treatments in the SPA. Yeah, This was indeed an EPIC experience! We meet again quite simply! 🫶🏻
Epic Sana was the perfect place to stay in Lisboa. We were greeted warmly and efficiently. Our room on the 9th floor had a beautiful view of the city and the Castle. The rooftop infinity pool was heavenly. The spa in the basement with another pool sauna and steam room was relaxing. Breakfast was all you could ask for eggs and omelets cooked to order, fruit, pastries and smoked salmon. The hotel was near the metro and multiple bus lines.
I wish I could give this hotel 10 stars. We visited for my birthday and had the best trip ever. The first thing that hits you as you walk in is the divine smell of the lobby. I asked someone on the front desk one day and they explained that they have the fragrance is specially designed to invite you in. It’s like the luxury equivalent of a warm apple pie left to rest on a window sill. The service is impeccable, the food is impeccable, the rooms are impeccable. The highlight is of course the pool on the roof which gives amazing views over the city and the river, but the downstairs pool by the spa is also incredibly tranquil. We used the spa facilities but sadly not the spa treatments (hopefully we can come back and do this!). On my birthday, we unexpectedly had a cake and bottle of champagne dropped off at our room which was complimentary and a delightful touch. The cake was delicious but we saved the fizz and took it to the São Jorge Castle where we watched the sunset one evening. Just book this hotel. You won’t be disappointed…
We stayed there for a weekend in June. Really friendly and obliging staff, everywhere; Great breakfast and a nice rooftopbar; The room was very nice and clean. Would recommend and go myself anytime again.
To be fair can’t fault all the previous reviews, their service does stand out in all areas, from reception to the breakfast and bar area. The hotel is extremely quiet especially the rooms and we had a wonderful 3 Night break and would thoroughly recommend this hotel for relaxing break in Lisbon.
I want to thank the staff at Epic Sana Lisboa for epic service. Joao Afonso is the most helpful persoon I have met in a long time. The food is superb, the setting is fine and the waiters are clued up too.
The EPIC Sana Lisbon is a stunning hotel. It has a beautiful lobby, 2 swimming pools (indoor + outdoor on rooftop), a very spacious gym (w/ lots of room for floor workouts), modern rooms (w/ comfortable beds and nice baths/showers), as well as a variety of conference-related amenities for business folks. The property is quite new so everything is fresh, clean and spotless -- with a delicious breakfast to start your day. What really made the difference for me was the top-notch service, led by Marta as well as Carlos, Vittor, Pedro, Jorge and several others from the staff with whom I interacted. They really went above and beyond to make me feel welcome in the hotel and Lisbon in general, going out of their way to coordinate a lot of errands (finding a notary, getting cov2 test, handling document pickups), provide advice about the neighborhood and life in the city, and even accommodate a late flight out -- all during a very quick trip. You can tell that they take pride in what they do, are very knowledgeable about their surroundings, and are always friendly and smiling -- no matter how many times you ask for help. I've stayed at dozens of different hotels, and the level of service here ranks at the very top. Location-wise, the hotel is in the western part of Lisbon and has excellent access to the Campo de Ourique neighborhood with its many shops and restaurants (just a short walk to the left down the hill). It's also within a stone's throw to the Amoreiras shopping mall. If you're driving, its placement on a major road (Duarte Pacheco) makes it easy to access the airport to the northeast (10-15min), travel to other parts of Lisbon and even take a short trip to cities and beaches to the west (eg Cascais). I highly recommend EPIC SANA Lisbon and without a doubt will be staying here again.…
Slightly on the upper price-scale but extremely good! It opened shortly before my visit in May'22 and as expected, everything new and spotless. The staff were amazing, offering advice on tours, main attractions and attending to all needs. Walking distance to attractions and the old city with parks and walkways very close by. The rooftop pool is simply stunning. Very small area so its always overcrowded but, spectacular. As mentioned, slightly pricey so if you can justify 250+pn, you will not be dissapointed
