I did the booking using hotels.com fast easy and nice. The welcome was also nice The apartment looks as in the photo BUT , it was ground floor and facing the street. Did not sleep a minute , trams , tracks , people , sirens what not . You do not want to have this apartment for million dollar. I simple hate such a thing when the owner knows about this but did not say anything anywhere about such a noisy area or tram driving 3 meter from your bed room. When I asked for refund or a different apartment it was simply refused. DO NOT TAKE THIS ROOM/ APARTMENT/OPTION ZERO RECOMMENDATION
The check-in went ok and the flat was ok, but a bit small for three people. There very only two glasses and three cups. The location is ok near the Alfama District and the Santa Apolonia Station But the flat didn`t get cleaned during our stay from Saturday till Wendesday ! They took out the carbage , changed the sheets and towels only once, on Tuesday. There was no light in the corritors the whole time we stayed there, only for a short while on Tuesday ! The corridors where very, very dark ! We phoned about this several times, but nothing happend ! So we gave up !
To say this place is misadvertised and underperforming would be an understatement. Though it initially seemed modern and well-maintained, the cracks began to show. Check-in kiosk didn’t work so we had to wait for manual instruction. There is no guide except for a few sentences on the back of the door, and the shower/appliances aren’t as intuitive as one would hope given there are no instructions. Apartments not soundproof as advertised, we heard everyone’s comings and goings. The “two bed” apartment is just a bed and a sofa bed, with no privacy as the sliding doors between are slatted. TV signal was awful, pixellated beyond being watchable. On all sites we looked at there is “daily cleaning” included in the price; we stayed for 3 nights and it was never cleaned. We assumed after the first day that they’d forgotten and it would happen the next. It never did. When I called upon checkout, the staff member said the housekeeping occurred every 3 days, and “daily cleaning” meant changing the toilet roll, emptying bins etc. - but this never happened either. When I said this, he was rude and accused me of “changing my story” and said it wasn’t fair of us to ask for compensation because we’d put up with it for the short stay, what’s done is done mentality. Finally, the location is not the greatest - around the back of the Santa Apolonia train station and down the road from a nightclub, it didn’t feel safe at all travelling at night. In short, avoid - if I’d have known it would be like this, I would’ve stayed in an AirBnB where at least I’d have a physical host to address my comments to.…
We at hello Lisbon at apolonia flat 4 c, I have been here since 17 01 19 from 17pm which we tried to have a shower but unfortunately there is not hot water at all. We tried again this morning 18 01 19 but unfortunately the hot water still not working. We have reported the issue to your customer services which has been extremely poor service and full of excuses and lies. They have been advised to wait till hot boiler will heat the water but it is unacceptable to not have a hot water for more the duration of my staying in here. My baby is 11 months old and we are unable to provide him a bath. Also none of us is able to simple have a shower. Due to the issue my baby has infection in the bump because we have not been able to shower him with hot water. I have an infection on my right eye which is also an infection that I am sure I got it here due to the fact of not have hot water therefore this place is full of bacteria and germs. Completely unhealthy to stay and a massive nightmare the hall duration on my staying here. The customer service keeps saying the issue is solved and we just need to wait for the water to hear which we have not have the water hot since we checked in. I would like to claim a full refund for my staying here. This is unhealthy and inappropriate place to stay. You could not provide me another accommodation and has just lie for the duration on my staying. I am going to report this issue to the local council authorities in order to avoid other people have the same infections and nightmare I am having. My baby health is completely important to me and I can not accept the fact of not been able to shower him. This is a nightmare. I strongly advise if anyone visiting Lisbon do not stay at this apartment.…
Great location close to metro, nice quiet area, however never received access code, thankfully our taxi drive was on hand to help and did the booking in process for us over his phone. First we blamed our travel agent for not passing info on but next day another couple arrived as we returned with same issue having book direct!!!! WiFi poor non existent, only 7 TV channels not the 30 promised. Had pre booked breakfast and told of intolerance however when breakfast box arrived unable to accommodate. We though it was expensive for what you get no choice. Comfy bed and plenty of towels, toiletries and dishwasher tablets. Ample space to hang cloths. Laugage storage lockers ideal when check out is 11am and a late flight.
