    Excellent located boutique hotel
The main reason I booked it was the location of the hotel, which is in a exclusive neighbourhood, near Rossio subway and train station and Baixa-Chiado subway station (5 minutes walking to both). Lisboa old city area have steep streets so take this into consideration when booking, otherwise if you like to walk the location is great. The rooms and beds are very clean, the bed is awesome, one of the best beds I've seen in hotels and have everything else you want for a hotel of this calibre (free wifi, toiletries, shoeing stuff, hair dryer etc.) Service is good, they speak very good English. Breakfast is OK, not the best around but offers anything one can wish for, fresh fruits, Portuguese specialities (cheese, various pastry) and the restaurant staff is very a considerate and helpful.

Excellent stay in heart of Lisbon
My family and I stayed here for a few days in August of 2020 during some COVID restrictions. We had an wonderful stay at the Lisboa Carmo Hotel! The staff were great and were quick with communication in order to coordinate shuttle service from the airport to the hotel and other taxi services. We are a family of 4 and stayed in a family suite. This suite is two rooms and two bathrooms. The larger room has a spacious King bed and good size bathroom with shower/tub. The smaller room has a twin bed with a pull out bed underneath as well and a good size bathroom with a shower. They are very nicely decorated, comfortable and clean. The hotel provided us with COVID care packs which consisted of masks, sanitizers etc. We had a good breakfast at the hotel. But due to COVID the restaurant was empty and the hotel was very quiet with minimal staffing. The location of the hotel is Fantastic! We walked everywhere as it is central to many tourist site seeing spots. Lots of restaurants, shopping, cafes all around. There is a beautiful Archeological museum right across from the hotel by the square. We will definitely stay at this hotel again and definitely recommend it to others.

Perfect hotel choice in the heart of Lisbon
If you are looking for a hotel in the center of Lisbon, then look no further and choose Lisboa Carmo Hotel. I was here for two nights in August 2020 and stayed in a Premium Room with view of the Castle and the River. The hotel is perfectly located in the center of the city, right by a beautiful square and a few steps away from many shops and restaurants. The room was very large, nicely furnished and had amazing views on the city and the river - also, the room had some great noise insulating windows, which meant that we could not hear a single noise. The service is also great: we got free private transfers from the airport (to be arranged with the hotel before arriving), a nice breakfast and even free minibar. Also, from a Covid perspective, I thought the hotel was doing a great job: super clean rooms, distanced tables at breakfast and they even left us a small kit with alcohol gel and face masks in the room. In summary, if you decide to visit Lisbon (which you should, because it is a truly stunning city), I would recommend you to choose Lisboa Carmo Hotel!

Only scheduled for a brief one night stay, but due to illness (nothing to do with the hotel!), ended up staying for three nights. Front desk staff were extremely helpful throughout, including some very late night requests (thanks Tim). close to all of the action but a beautifully quiet room (203), and if you are going to have to stay in bed for three days, its worth doing it in a very large, very comfortable one...

The reception staff, in addition to being at least trilingual, are all excellent --friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. The breakfast offered is better than most, especially because the servers Concalo and Fatumata, are beyond practiced and professional. The hotel design includes rooms with glass between the bathroom and the bedroom. A curtain converts the situation from transparent to translucent, but if you like absolute privacy... Or, if one guest turns on the light in the bathroom in the middle of the night, the bedroom is also bright. Regardless, staff professionalism makes this an excellent hotel.

This is on the edge of a lovely square in a central part of Lisbon: it's lively in the day but not too loud at night. Staff were friendly and responsive and spoke perfect English. The room was fine. We were upgraded to a bigger room which still wasn't huge but big enough. Nothing spectacular but pretty OK and quite modern. Quite expensive perhaps for what it was.

We received a warm welcome and throughout our stay the staff where exceptional and dealt with any problem or query immediately and with such politeness. We were particularly grateful for the recommendations we received. The tables in the square outside were a lovely way to soak up the Lisbon atmosphere. The rooms were large and the bedding and towels were of excellent quality. The shower was powerful with an overhead rain and seperate shower head. It was fabulous and we hope we get to stay here again.

The hotel was very nice and spacious. The staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful. The restaurant staff was also very friendly and attentive. It is located in a quieter area but very close to everything. Generally, most things were within walking distance including the train station. A good value for the money. Would recommend if looking for a good, basically quiet, central location.

The central location was excellent. The room and the restaurant were very good, especially the range and quality of breakfast. And it was the staff made my stay so pleasant. They are friendly and customer focussed. Both the front desk and the restaurant staff were cheerful and helpful. They make a very good hotel into an excellent hotel.

Located in a very interesting and fun neighborhood. Rooms were very well appointed and extremely comfortable (we love having a Nespresso machine in the room). The breakfast was extremely varied and high quality. The front desk staff was excellent. We had quite a few problems (not hotel related) during our stay anmd they were wonderfully helpful to us in sorting them out. A special "shout out" to Andre.

We stayed four nights here on a recent trip to Lisbon. The hotel was nice overall, and the front desk service was very hospitable. We were in a deluxe room that has nice touches like a Nespresso machine, but it was a bit tired. For example, the carpet was worn and had stains (see photo), and there were some markings/tears in the wallpaper. Not quite what I'd expect at this price point; it would be good for them to refurbish the rooms. Overall would still recommend based on the location and service, but I hope they can give it a refresh soon.

Small stylish hotel which was in an ideal location to explore Lisbon. The breakfast was great - open from 7 30 to 10v30 so it suites our leisurely mornings and our early start, prior to the airport run. Nice Square outside where we ate on our first evening and lots of very lively streets full of restaurants and bars a short walk away. Very helpful staff and our room was super clean. Thank you.
