My family and I stayed here for a few days in August of 2020 during some COVID restrictions. We had an wonderful stay at the Lisboa Carmo Hotel! The staff were great and were quick with communication in order to coordinate shuttle service from the airport to the hotel and other taxi services. We are a family of 4 and stayed in a family suite. This suite is two rooms and two bathrooms. The larger room has a spacious King bed and good size bathroom with shower/tub. The smaller room has a twin bed with a pull out bed underneath as well and a good size bathroom with a shower. They are very nicely decorated, comfortable and clean. The hotel provided us with COVID care packs which consisted of masks, sanitizers etc. We had a good breakfast at the hotel. But due to COVID the restaurant was empty and the hotel was very quiet with minimal staffing. The location of the hotel is Fantastic! We walked everywhere as it is central to many tourist site seeing spots. Lots of restaurants, shopping, cafes all around. There is a beautiful Archeological museum right across from the hotel by the square. We will definitely stay at this hotel again and definitely recommend it to others.

If you are looking for a hotel in the center of Lisbon, then look no further and choose Lisboa Carmo Hotel. I was here for two nights in August 2020 and stayed in a Premium Room with view of the Castle and the River. The hotel is perfectly located in the center of the city, right by a beautiful square and a few steps away from many shops and restaurants. The room was very large, nicely furnished and had amazing views on the city and the river - also, the room had some great noise insulating windows, which meant that we could not hear a single noise. The service is also great: we got free private transfers from the airport (to be arranged with the hotel before arriving), a nice breakfast and even free minibar. Also, from a Covid perspective, I thought the hotel was doing a great job: super clean rooms, distanced tables at breakfast and they even left us a small kit with alcohol gel and face masks in the room. In summary, if you decide to visit Lisbon (which you should, because it is a truly stunning city), I would recommend you to choose Lisboa Carmo Hotel!

After a brutal overnight train from Madrid we were sadly in need of a hotel room as our Air B & B fell through (long story not for here). A quick search found the Lisboa Carmo Hotel had availability so we found a taxi and were treated to the most lovely corner room with a wrap around balcony that had a stunning view of the opera district of Lisbon. It was only a short walk to the Santa Justa Elevador as well so a perfect location for us. The staff was wonderful, room was very clean and modern and the price included a beautiful breakfast buffet. So happy we landed there!

We spent four nights at the Carmo, the rooms are well equipped, beds very comfortable, coffee machine and mini bar. Breakfast was good and staff very friendly and helpful. I asked to use an iron and board and it was delivered to my room within five minutes. We booked a day trip at reception which was superb. Very good location for all you need. All in all a very nice hotel.

Keep in mind as your read this, that in 60 years of travel, this hotel is in the top three for boutique hotels. The location could not be more central; the staff is uniformly helpful, polite and accomodating; the breakfast is excellent with something for everyone and the dining room on the ground floor is spacious; very good coffee. Our room on the fifth floor was beautifully laid out with exeptional views of the city. The bed was very comfortable; the closet had plenty of hangers and space; the towels were of very good quality and the room itself was quite. In short, I cannot wait to return.
