Hotel was in a great location to explore Lisbon. Staff very helpful. Rooms and hotel were spotless. Room very spacious. Breakfast was good too. Slight sour note at checkout-we were charged for water that was left out in the room. Didnt' expect that-only 3 euros but if they are going to charge they should make you aware of this. Otherwise a great hotel.

One of the reasons for staying here was how they boast about their beautiful rooftop terrace. The view is exquisite…IF YOU CAN GET IN. They allow every Tom Dick and Jane off the streets in, so People staying at the Hotel cannot. Not very bright

If you’re looking for an ideally situated hotel in the centre of Lisbon, look no further. The Mundial is right where you want to be. The rooms are spacious and spotless. The staff are all so polite and attentive to their guests. A group of 19 of us recently stayed here, and not one complaint. Bravo.

Hands down one of the most friendliest hotels I’ve ever been too! Special shout-out to Odette and Ruben who were beyond lovely with us, especially with our toddler. Rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast selection is good. Staff are very attentive - we received champagne and desserts to celebrate my husband’s birthday and we hadn’t mentioned anything! We would definitely come again to this hotel!

I was really looking forward to my stay at Hotel Mundial, but left very underwhelmed with my stay. It started off well with a nice welcome and I thought my room was nice, with a nice view and kept clean and it was in a great location. Then came the negatives. Across the hotel is a square, which is noisy all night long and the hotel's window's were not good enough. It needs double glazing to keep the noise out. Even with the windows shut the noise was still loud. I hardly had any sleep. And the area is getting rough with the people around. I was also looking forward to the Rooftop Bar. my belief This should be a private Rooftop bar for people staying at the hotel. It was too full and being kept waiting 20 minutes to half an hour to get a seat and drink without much information from the staff. I did not return after one member of staff was so rude to me as I wasn't aware there was another exit. They pushed me away from the entrance, where I exited the 1st time I went, and just went go that way to exit. Instead of politeness saying sorry sir there is an exit this way and helping me to find it, they just came over so rude. And that was after they laughed at me for being on my own (I like travelling alone). Staff at breakfast were not helpful or welcoming. Very average food. And last but not least, the lift needs to become quicker or add more lifts. Waited 5 minutes or more each time. Overall I was so disappointed with my stay. I hope things improve, as I feelit can be a great hotel. It's shame about the area, but if the Hotel improves it's windows to shut the noise out, gets it staff in the breakfast and Rooftop bar to be more welcoming and polite, than it can be a 4 star to 5 star review.…

Very centrally located with a view of the Castle from our room balcony on the 7th floor. We stayed for five nights and were highly impressed with the services including breakfast service. Tourist Tram no 28 leaves from right outside the main entrance. The closest metro, and bus stand is a two minutes walk to Figueire square. Most of the iconic buildings and old streets are within walking distance.

The hotel has a great location. The rooftop bar had a wonderful view. We had great service and check in was very quick. The rooms were a decent size,especially for a European hotel. The buffet in the morning had a good selection. I would stay there again and would recommend it to friends.

The location of this hotel is perfect very central with plenty taxis and tuk tuks always available. The tram ride is just opposite the hotel too. The room has a kettle but no tea coffee sugar, when I rang reception I was told the kettle is for hot water and was put through to room service to order tea. Never has this happened to me before I was very surprised and disappointed. The breakfast isn’t that great either best not to go near end as once things are running out they are reluctant to top up.

1st time in Lisbon , 1st time in Portugal. Hotel is right at heart of the city , large but not overpowering , rooms were good , everything you needed in room . We stayed 3 nights bed and breakfast , good selection of hot and cold foods at breakfast . Rooftop bar was fab , always managed to be seated , without a reservation , views were spectacular. Well located to walk to riveerfront , 10-15 mins , around the corner from hop on hop off bus , huge queues for the famoue tram so didnt bother with that , will comeback to Lisbon sometime and will stay at this hotel again

Best location, near almost every attraction, very friendly staff and helpful , the room was spacious , the breakfast was good, the view from the rooftop was marvelous, we had a drink there but the weather did not help, it was so windy, so they distribute for us a small cover, At the reception, the staff helped us to reserve the tour to Fatima and the tour was better than expected. I would stay in the same hotel if I will have the chance to visit Lisbon. Anyhow , the people in Lisbon are friendly in General, the taxi drivers, the restaurants, almost everything was soo good.
