Great for walkers

We stayed there for 3 nights as part of a bus tour. Our room no. 311 overlooking the bridge was one of the rooms not yet renovated and therefore in a bad condition. Dirty brown velour carpet, just a dessert, the door frames in the bathroom looked like “eaten”, the room and hallway very dark. The mattresses are wrapped in “crackling foil”, you sweat a lot, but better not to lie directly on it!!!! We have refrained from using the air conditioning, we have assumed that it was also not properly maintained. The cleaning staff speaks only Portuguese whether a room cleaning has taken place??? A change of rooms was not possible according to reception during this period was a marathon in Lisbon. The 3 nights in this room are just "eyes closed and through... hopefully is soon tomorrow and we can leave the room “... Later we saw room pictures from fellow travellers that it can also be done differently ... bright painted walls, new bright room furniture, pictures on the walls, new clean laminate flooring. The hotel in general made a decent impression, at the top you can visit the roof garden. Food was varied, fish, meat, vegetarian, large salad selection, cheese buffet as well as fruit and dessert. At breakfast longer lines at the coffee machine. Drinks can be written in the room or settled immediately. Short walk to seafarers monument, tram stop nearby, factory grounds “LX Factory” with bars, restaurants, shops within walking distance. The environment is very noisy a lot of traffic.

Everyone will have their own opinions and perceptions of anywhere they stay, so this is merely to give are impressions.
We have just returned from staying at Vila Gale Opera. We found the Reception Staff, Bar Staff and the Restaurant staff, very friendly and very attentive.
We were on a Half Board Basis and we found the evening meals excellently prepared, presented and very appetizing. The choices were wide and varied as well. The breakfast buffet was more than adequately varied and appetizing.
The room was facing the 7 Pillar Bridge , and one does hear some noise, but this is more than compensated for by the stunning view of the Bridge ( during the day & lit at Night) and of the Statue of Christ the King, across the river Tagus. Truly beautiful.
The location is ideal and one is only 15 minutes by tram or uber from all the major attractions that one associates with Lisbon.
It appears almost as cheap to get Ubers , than to pay for 2 or 3 using the Trams each time. And no stress trying to work out which trams to get and from where !!
The shower was fine and cleanliness of the room was fine.
All in All, we had a great time and hope to return soon.
Thank you Vila Gale.

This hotel's privileged location is one of its differences, as it is right next to the 25 de Abril Bridge that crosses the Tagus River connecting Lisbon towards Setúbal and other cities. From the hotel you have easy access to the central region of the city and the area of Belém where there are tourist attractions that can be accessed on foot such as: Torre de Belém, Padrão dos Descobrimentos, Mosteiro dos Jerónimos and Palácio Nacional da Ajuda. Parking is charged at a daily rate of around six euros. Breakfast (mini meal in local language) is well served and features a good variety of breads, cold cuts, dairy products, fruits and special preparations such as omelets. The very spacious environment with natural lighting gives a good view of the avenue that runs alongside the railway tracks and the Tagus River. The place is well decorated with an opera theme and posters from major opera houses around the world can be seen, such as: Metropolitan Opera in New York, Opera Garnier in Paris, Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, San Carlo in Náples, São Carlos in Lisbon , Harbin Great Theater of China, Municipal Theater of Rio de Janeiro among others. On a wall in the lobby you can see musical notes from Verdi's opera La Traviata and on a wall next to the elevator you can see clothes used in the operas. In the pool it is necessary to use a cap and those who wish can purchase one for four euros. The apartments are named after world-famous artists and are very comfortable and include a bathtub, but the power sockets are located under the work desk, making access difficult. And at the head of the bed there is only a single socket and it is in a corner, something that could be easily resolved to provide greater comfort to guests.

This is a terrible hotel if you are in Lisbon for business for three reasons (the generally rude staff aside). 1. There are no irons in the hotel, at all. Not in the room, not in an ironing room and they do not keep any for use in housekeeping or reception. When asked we were told 'welcome to capitalism you can pay to have your clothes ironed by an external service with 48 hour turn around'. For business people staying one night or even two this is ridiculous if you cannot even iron a shirt. 2. There is no coffee or tea or kettle in the rooms, and no coffee freely available in the foyer, so my 5 am meeting in my room was sans coffee - it may not bother people on holidays but this is pitching itself as a conference hotel with guests who would come from overseas so this is not acceptable. 3. There are no PowerPoints at the bedside tables (let alone USB connections), again very inconvenient when an alarm needs to be set if your phone is not fully charged after a long work day. (4. I said there was only 3 but the bed was uncomfortably hard and had some child's plastic lining on it under the sheet that was pretty amateur when proper mattress protectors are available)

Spatious lobby nicely decorated, rooms below bridge to be avoided, they are extremely noisy. Absolutely incompetent reception personnel, unable to pass on repeated complaints regarding electricity problems in our room for over 24 hours. Mediocre food, cleanliness acceptable. Not recommended.

The hotel is quite suitable and has a suitable structure for several days stay. The location of the hotel is between the Tower of Belém and the Terreiro do Paço, which can be inconvenient, or not, for those who depend on public transportation; Line 15E passes two blocks from the hotel and goes to Piazza da Figueira (in the direction of the center) or Algés (in the direction of Belém). The rooms (for couple with two children) are comfortable, with clean and well-sized bathroom. There is a good restaurant (Christmas Dinner was a great option, with varied and tasty dishes) and the breakfast is very good. The service is attentive and the relationship between benefits and costs is satisfactory.

Hotel located 15 minutes from the center. A 10 minute walk along the river, you can visit the Padros dos Descobrimentos monument, the Santa Maria de Belém church and the Belém tower. Clean and equipped rooms. Varied and abundant buffet restaurant for all tastes. In the structure there are also two small swimming pools located one on the ground floor and one on the 7th floor with a beautiful panorama. The only negative note the rooms overlooking the 25 de Abril deck are disturbed by traffic noise both road and rail, it is preferable to ask for the rooms on the opposite side and not on the upper floors.

The staff was great, the rest of the property not so much. We stayed here while running the Lisbon Marathon. We thought a “spa” hotel was the perfect place, instead we should have left the moment we walked in. First impressions of a hotel can be made by going into the lobby bathroom. It was disgusting and hadn’t been cleaned in awhile. We used it again the next day and it still was in the same condition. The room was fine, but the bed needs to be replaced. Every time I rolled over it would squeak and make noise. The spa didn’t have any reservations available so we ended up at the Hyatt a few blocks away, I wish I would have stayed there as well. My recommendation would be to find some place else to stay.

Fine hotel, it was only there during our stay very quiet even at the bar was nothing to do. Good beds only terrible soft pillows. Breakfast was good, not excessive but enough. In front of the door is the railway stop to the center and if you buy a day ticket you can also use it in the center. Going downtown by car is not recommended.

I arrived at this hotel for 3 night stay as part of a Just You holiday. The hotel is very close to the bridge and the train noise is unacceptable. I asked for a different room and was told that it was not possible and that all the rooms were noisy. I will be more careful when next time and on this experience I can’t recommend Just You.

Não sei dizer o valor da diária, mas tenho a ideia que é cara (salvo erro, cerca de €15,00); Porém, em 4 dias que passei no hotel não tive dificuldade de estacionamento no exterior, junto ao hotel, sendo o lugar seguro.
There are more places to choose from in the Lisbon area.
