Travelers' Choice
Enjoying the best possible location in Lisbon, this modern boutique design hotel is born, like a phoenix, from the ancient structures of one of the most historic hotels in Portugal. The daring use of the colour Lilac in its façade, right on the traditional Rossio Square, denounce to the world the purposes of reinvention and exclusivity offered to a happy few.

Baixa, Rossio & Restauradores
A pending candidate to become a World Heritage Site, Lisbon's downtown (the "Baixa Pombalina", or simply "Baixa") is a perfect example of anti-earthquake construction, having been rebuilt following the 1755 earthquake by the famous Marquês de Pombal (hence its name). Its offer is vast: restaurants and cafes in Rossio and Restauradores, outlets and shops in the Áurea, Augusta, Prata and other famous streets, the imponent Praça do Comércio and its Arch, the luxury shops along the Avenida da Liberdade, this is the beating heart of the city center. The Baixa also grants easy access to trains leading to Sintra, the trams that go around the Castle hill, old neighborhoods or even take you to Belém, and Lisbon's traditional restaurants and cafes. Considering a visit to the Fashion and Design Museum (free entrance) and don't forget to try the famous liquor, "ginjinha"!

While this hotel is convenient to most things, and most of the staff are wonderful, I do not recommend staying here. The room is dirty, mold in the bathroom, all furniture chipped, and very tired looking. The restaurant is terrific but you can always visit. Stay elsewhere

The location of this hotel was excellent - right in the main square.. Although the reception area is small, the staff there were so attentive and gave great recommendations for meals and trips The rooms were spacious with big bathrooms and the cleanliness was excellent. The breakfasts were super. Highly reccomend

Great location. We arrived tired and grumpy and complained about a dirty floor, a ripped bed sheet, noisy air-conditioning and a smelly bathroom - not a good start, but things quickly improved. Friendly attentive staff immediately sorted out the floor and the sheet. The air-conditioning (Room 406) is on 'the to do list' but the smelly bathroom is a strange one as apparently it's quite common in Lisbon due to the river level??? The restaurant is great - we normally run a mile from hotel restaurants, but this one is an absolute gem, highly recommended! We will return and hopefully then we'll be giving Hotel Interacional 10/10.

Great great location! Near everything, bus, train, shops, food. pretty comfy beds with hardwood floors, windows that opened with no screens. Our had a view of 2 courtyards with statues. Near all foods and shopping, walk to alot of attractions, train to others in short time. 40 minutes to Sintra. Eatery right underneath.

A lovely hotel located right in the centre of Rossio Square! We stayed here for 3 nights in March 2023 and loved our time in the city and hotel. The room we were staying in was a little compact, but big enough to have a restful nights sleep (in a king size bed) and shower before heading out to see the sights. We did not experience any of the street noise (we were on the 3rd floor - room 311 if my memory serves me correct)! The hotel is connected to their restaurant (The Bastardo) which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner…however as we were out all day, we didn’t stop to eat there. There are plenty of places to eat around the hotel including bars, cafes and restaurants, so you have lots of places to choose from! The staff are friendly and made us feel welcome. They also spent time sharing how best it was to get around and see Lisbon. A top hotel in a great location!

The hotel staffs are so friendly and professional especially Rikeal. I lost my luggage one day before I checked in to the hotel. She has been helping and calling to emirate customer services non stop, and also Lisbon lost and found department. When I was in depressed due to the luggage couldn't been tracked by Emirates customer service, she was still there helping and comforting me. All the staffs are friendly, gave me great advices as a tourist, and spoke good English. I have to give this hotel a 10 stars

We stayed in this hotel for three nights on arrival in Lisbon. The location is very central and the hotel is well appointed with minamalist designed, clean, comfortable rooms. As a light sleeper I want a quiet and dark hotel room. The staff recommended an interior room and they were exactly on point. The room was very quiet and was just what we needed. We ate dinner one night in the hotel restaurant Bastardo which was very good. The hotel staff were helpful when we had questions. In particular the front desk was great when I was worried about our train reservations to Coimbra because of a strike that started the day we were to leave. They assured me not to worry and gave me informtion about busses that could be taken if the train did not run our trip.

Horrible experience ! Hotel looks nothing like the pictures from outside and inside. Rooms are small, beds are short and your feet will not fit if you are 5’6 or taller. This is not a 4 star hotel, the service is non existent. We had 2 rooms for 2 adults and 2 kids (15&11), kids stayed in separate room. Rooms were on 1st floor. There was a constant sewage smell in the bathroom, more in our room than the kids. We asked them to fix it and they tried next day but it still smelled throughout our stayed when you flushed the toilet. The shower gel bottle pump was broken and we asked them several times to give us a new one and instead they gave us one without the pump as an open bottle. Breakfast was very limited in selection. The breakfast took place in a fish restaurant and it also smelled like fish in the evening and throughout the night. Finally, air conditioner broke in both rooms the last night and we had our windows open which was disturbing since it’s very busy area and gets very loud around 6:00 am. There was no one to fix it at night, we were lucky that it was not hot. Overall aside from the good location there was nothing good in this hotel and it deserves 1 star!
