This was a really good 3 star hotel with some 4 star services. Reception and staff/cleaners were professional and friendly. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room had a TV which had a few channels/programmes in English. There was no iron and reception said that they don't provide irons for fire safety reasons. There was no kettle but there was access to the breakfast area where they set up a tea and coffee bar to use any time after 12pm-late. There is service charge for the facilities but if you have your own tea or coffee, you can just get hot water for free. This was a nice touch.
Breakfast finishes at 11:30am which was great if you prefer to lie in and eat a little later. There was a great selection of hot and cold food which is replenished regularly.
The hotel in general has lovely decor, a lounge area and also seating in the breakfast area to relax during the day. There was also complementary refreshing lemon-infused water at the entrance of the breakfast room.
The location is perfect for catching public transport to other neighbourhoods in Lisbon or you can walk to many places within in 15-20 minutes. There are many eateries and grocery stores nearby so you don't need to go far for any necessities.
I would happily stay at this hotel again!

I booked the Dom Carlos Park for a 4 night stay in Lisbon, due to the price and it's location (Close to the Metro, to assist getting around for sightseeing).
My room was a basic room and had a TV, Mini Bar, Safe (not working). The bed was comfy, although the pillows not so comfy. There were only 2 plug sockets and they were located on the wall at the bottom of the bed, so could not leave my phone on the bedside table, whilst charging (A small inconvenience.... I know). The WIFI was free throughout the hotel and met my needs (Browsing on my phone for places to visit, transport etc). My room was cleaned on a daily basis and I was provided with fresh towels each day.
The Bathroom was big enough for me and had a Bath/Shower combo. There was plenty of hot water and the pressure was good.
The only issue I had with the room, was the noise from other rooms. My room had a connecting door to the room next door, which did not help, but there was noise from the corridor/ landing, when other guests were coming back/ going out. The room doors were also noisy when being closed. I know there is not much the hotel can do about the noise from other guests and I dont think that people were purposely being noisy, it was just that there is no real soundproofing. There was building work on the buildings next to the hotel, but this did not cause to much noise.
Breakfast was included in my room price. Breakfast was a buffet style, with a selection of cooked (Sausage/ Bacon/ Scrambled Eggs), cold meats, cheese, pastries etc, which was OK. It could get busy in the dinning room.
There is no bar at the hotel, but the breakfast area doubles up as a communal lounge area in the afternoon/ evenings, where you can help yourself to some beers/
spirits etc, and you pay on an Honesty basis.
The staff were friendly and helpful and despite the noise issue, the hotel was value for money and a good place to stay.

We had booked 2 nights in the Dom Carlos Park, as we were seeing a concert on the 2nd evening there which finished late.
We checked into the hotel around 6.50pm on the Saturday evening and the staff were pleasant, friendly and welcoming. It was easy to find the room, and everything was very clean inside.
The room was fairly small for 2 people, but it had all the necessities for a few night's stay. Considering it was so centrally located, there was not any road noise/disturbance from outside, with minimal construction work. The metro station is just a 2 minute walk away and it is easy to reach different areas of Lisbon.
Inside the room, there was a safe, cupboard and fridge which contained drinks (for a slight extra charge).
I think the highlight of the hotel was the breakfast buffet. There was a really great selection of food (cooked/continental of Portuguese style) and it was open for a considerable time (up to 11.30am) - plenty of variety and a good ambience.
Moreover, the reception staff safely stored our bags on the final day after checking out to collect later in the day - and were helpful in showing us where the toilets were located.
I'd recommend Dom Carlos Park to anyone staying in Lisbon for several days.

We stayed at the “Dom Carlos Park” for four nights in October. It is probably an older building that was updated with all amenities, elevator, WiFi and fridge in room. The rooms were very clean and the bathroom was fully functional. As is the custom lately there is only soap, no shampoo, so bring some.
The hotel is two minutes from a major subway station and also walkable distance from the river and many destinations. Still, a daily public transportation pass is useful; at a cost of Euro 6.50/24 hours, it allows using all subways, buses, most local trains and some ferry service and lifts. Do not just buy online, buy at the subway station (Metro) as it anyhow needs to be enabled at a kiosk (no App that we could use).
Parking is available for drop-off and pick-up, but the front desk staff was very unfriendly about using those spots.
Expedia offered a complimentary drink for the stay, which we appreciated. The hotel put out a bottle of flat water for a cost, which we find less than appropriate for this level of hotel.
Building projects are everywhere, but right now they are on both sides of the hotel; the workers seem to respect working hours (8 AM – 5 PM), so we only had some noise during breakfast. There are supermarkets near-by, but there are also many excellent eateries for all tastes and budgets.

Location of this hotel is ideal for access the transportation, shops and restaurants.
On arrival, a staff member took our luggage’s from the vehicle and when our room was ready they took them to the room, (this service does not happened at most hotels anymore). The hotel rooms were clean and the breakfast staff were very pleasant. Miguel and Ana, were very helpful (Ana recommended and made reservation at a restaurant for my Birthday dinner, and Miguel helped with our luggages, check in and confirming our pickup service from the hotel back to the Airport. Ana also helped to book us two tours. They said they only take cash for the tours, but if you book directly at the tour office, where you have meet the tour buses they do take credit cards. We were also presented with bottles of their Porto wines on our birthdays.
Normally, I would not spend 8 nights at the same hotel and our time here convinced us never to do that again. Some days our room was only half cleaned ( as if they started and forgot to finish). Our room was on the 2nd floor directly over a very active mini park and at the intersection of 3 or 4 different streets. The park came alive throughout the night until sometimes 6:30am or later. The utility room was next to our so forget sleeping. We asked to be moved to a higher floor and were told that it will not make a
difference. A Fire station is adjoining the hotel, thank God their alarm were not triggered, but you could hear the ins and outs of the trucks
and other activities throughout the nights.

I asked for a bath as well as a shower and that was arranged, we told them we would arrive early and they had the room ready for us! The staff were professional, friendly and helpful, everything you want to make you feel welcome! The breakfast was excellent and lots of choice. There is building going on around but it didn't disturb us at all. We had a room with a great view and the hotel is just round the corner from the Marques de Pombal Square and a straight walk into town and near to the park in the other direction, so a good location. Everything was spotless, the beds were very comfortable and the sheets and towels were very good quality. The only few things that could be done to improve the rooms would be some more plugs, or certainly charging points by the side of the bed for phones and iPads. Also we thought it would be good to have a magnifying make-up/shaving mirror in the bathroom and a kettle...although there is an 'Honesty Bar' in the lounge!

This was a perfect choice!
I spend lots of time to find a good place to stay in Lisbon that would be easy reachable from the airport, close to public transport, city center and main atractions, in reasonable price and with a specific minimum comfort of rooms.
This hotel matched all criteria and thanks to the staff exceeded my expectations. We have received a spacious, confortable room with a nice window view. Bathroom was spotless clean and houskeepin did a great job every day. There was plenty of room to unpack our clothes.
Breakfasts were very good with variety of bread, pastries, and fruit.
All in all we would definately recommend this hotel to everyone who would like to visit Lisbon.
Thank you very much for your gift for my husband's birthday and your kind wishes!

Stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. Good and varied breakfast which is on for a decent amount of time.
The location is excellent with a decent walk into the heart of the city and is situated very close to a few major bus routes which services different areas of the city.
There is a construction site next door to the hotel however, this was not an issue.
Would stay again.

The hotel is centrally located for bus and metro. Also walking distance to the expensive shops on Libertades and the tourist traps in Baixa. The breakfast has everything you need, fresh juice, home-baked bread, etc. but nothing lavish. We had a large room that could withstand being dusted off, and the bathroom was very small and without the possibility of a outlet. There is a lot of noise from other rooms (toilet flush, shower and talking) and also from the street, but it is a hotel in the center of a big city. The "bar" at the hotel is a disappointment. There is self-service, which must be written on a note and handed in at the reception. The staff are all really nice and helpful.

Can I say that the staff at this hotel are the most friendly and helpful I’ve ever come across. The people we connected with were the maid who cleaned our room, various receptionists, the guys at reception who helped with the luggage etc plus the breakfast serving staff. All of you take a bow! The hotel itself is convenient for the metro and indeed it’s not that far from downtown Lisbon. It could do with a bit of upgrading but to be honest it’s perfect for a short break. We spent 4 nights at the hotel.
