I spent the last night at this establishment and what I have to say is that despite being a Guest house and being made for only tourists to stay overnight, it could be better served. For example, if there is a couple/trisal, etc. the same should sleep together, which was not the case. Another point: should have more bath towels.

Very easy access for a night over Lisbon. The room with all basic amenities in working order. The mattress was not as comfortable as it could be, and no toilet roll. The shower was nice and warm with good power. Had to wait at the reception to check in as no one was there. Tried the phone number, but rang at the reception where I was, though the check in was fast and efficient and the lift took me to the 3rd floor promptly.

The reception was poor. A bit rude. Room was a bit dirty. Dripping from hose in bath. Beds hard. Loud neighbours. The place is for one night stay only. Check out was slow even i was alone. Will not stay in this place again. Even the price was ok. Thanks.

We were taken to this terrible hotel from the same Masa Almirante hotel chain because they had not kept the rooms for us despite the reservation made in May (see review). They had guaranteed us that the rooms would have been better. Grumpy and unhelpful staff.
Hotel with dated structure, rooms, corridors, furnishings and systems but with working TV and air conditioning. Rooms and toilets with damp and mold stains so we think that even the images on the Masa Almirante hotel website are not realistic. "Unpleasant" odors in all environments. Not having been able to find other accommodation quickly, we decide to stay for just one night. The nightmare begins. The rooms were next to the well-equipped elevator shaft so that at every ride it felt like the elevator was in the room. Shelter breakfast for homeless people. How they manage to classify themselves as 3 stars is difficult to understand; 1 star is excessive

Deplorable residential, no towels, no soap in the rooms, even notifying reception requesting towels and soap, they put on a bad face and didn't want to. The receptionists are rude, unfriendly and unwilling to help.
We had breakfast included with the room and we were only able to have breakfast on 1 day and the unfortunate options, the coffee was dirty water, there were not many options for breakfast.
If you can escape from this establishment, it is better to sleep on a park bench than in the Residencial Do Areeiro.

Excellent Hotel close to the Metro.
I skipped over all the pampered Danskere's reviews. As always, a smart Dane must have sublime 5-star luxury at net prices. If they don't, then they whine and write a nasty review. Fasten your helmet!!! It is a low price Hotel. You get what you get. Not much else. The good thing is the hotel's location. Close to the Metro, (1 min to the Metro) bus 735 which runs all the way down to the harbor leaves from around the corner.
The hotel is old and the rooms small, but you survive. The breakfast ok. Not flashy but ok, and you can eat your fill.
Friendly and helpful reception and a good reception just to the right outside the hotel where a large cold draft beer costs 3 euros.

The worst accommodation ever! Fleas in the bed, smell of sewage, old mattress where the springs could be felt, the disgusting carpet full of stains, windows that didn't close, total lack of hygiene, the toilet spilled water, the receptionists were rude and unpleasant, hair in the shower drain, breakfast was a disaster... I don't recommend it! This place should be closed! It's unhealthy and the advertising is misleading, they did work on the reception and the first floor, the remaining floors are unbelievable... please report it and close this place down!!

Some reviews are negative. Not my opinion. Perhaps in the past was like that. Not my experience.
I recommend it!
The workers are friendly and sympathetic and very helpful.
The customer service was very professional.
I spent about 2 months here, and was okay. After awhile, it was all most like feeling at home.
A personal matter and business forced me into a hotel, residential. Although my staying was due to the circumstances, in general, was a very nice experience.
I choose this place because it is central in Lisbon. One can pick the subway in the Lisbon Airport, and get out in Areeiro, it takes just after a few minutes. Or can use the bus.
I prefer the subway anyways.
Besides the reception which is new. The building, is kind a rustic (construction from the late 40s, 50s and 60s).
Elegant, robust.
Old style and nice cozy hotel. Awesome particularly inside.
Reminds me some old movies.
Also, lots of good, not very expensive restaurants in the nearby.
To the workers: Thanks!

Stayed here one night for a layover. Booked when i arrived at the airport and arrived at hotel half hour later in the evening. Terrible reception. Staff did not speak English and charged me 4 euro local tax, even though on expedia it stated it was 2. Was no point in arguing due to language barrier. Room looks very outdated, with frayed carpet and had a weird smell. Shower stall is extremely small but had good water pressure. There's literally nothing in the room. Not even a kettle and the safe doesn't have a lock. Location is alright, 12 minutes by bus to airport. Would not recommend to stay here longer than one night.

I left the same evening that I came. It did not match the description on booking.com and I have never experienced such rude customer service at a hotel before.
After notifying them about the mistake and that the room didn't match the description and pictures, the guy in the customer service basically said that he didn't write it, so it wasn't his problem - Apparently, then it's the consumer's problem. I was then given a very old and super cold room (due to old windows).
Just a very bad experience and what should have been a relaxed weekend turned into a very bad Friday.
I tried to contact them the next day as I felt (and still feel) entitled to a full refund since they had lied about that they offer on booking.com and I ended up leaving. The answer I got was a recap of what had happened the night before, apart from the fact that non if it was true - They basically wrote to me as if I was stupid and couldn't remember the night before. Why lie to me about what had happened, when I was there and know it's not true?
After I pointed out that their "recap" wasn't true, they never responded again.

sorry, I do not know what an electric jug is...However, this hotel is real bare bones...not like we thought it would be....try someplace else...We stayed at Grande Pensao Alcobia near Rossio Square and it was excellent and close to Plaza Figuierra and trams, buses, subway and trains....
