Hotel with dated structure, rooms, corridors, furnishings and systems but with working TV and air conditioning. Rooms and toilets with damp and mold stains so we think that even the images on the Masa Almirante hotel website are not realistic. "Unpleasant" odors in all environments. Not having been able to find other accommodation quickly, we decide to stay for just one night. The nightmare begins. The rooms were next to the well-equipped elevator shaft so that at every ride it felt like the elevator was in the room. Shelter breakfast for homeless people. How they manage to classify themselves as 3 stars is difficult to understand; 1 star is excessive

We had breakfast included with the room and we were only able to have breakfast on 1 day and the unfortunate options, the coffee was dirty water, there were not many options for breakfast.
If you can escape from this establishment, it is better to sleep on a park bench than in the Residencial Do Areeiro.

I skipped over all the pampered Danskere's reviews. As always, a smart Dane must have sublime 5-star luxury at net prices. If they don't, then they whine and write a nasty review. Fasten your helmet!!! It is a low price Hotel. You get what you get. Not much else. The good thing is the hotel's location. Close to the Metro, (1 min to the Metro) bus 735 which runs all the way down to the harbor leaves from around the corner.
The hotel is old and the rooms small, but you survive. The breakfast ok. Not flashy but ok, and you can eat your fill.
Friendly and helpful reception and a good reception just to the right outside the hotel where a large cold draft beer costs 3 euros.

I recommend it!
The workers are friendly and sympathetic and very helpful.
The customer service was very professional.
I spent about 2 months here, and was okay. After awhile, it was all most like feeling at home.
A personal matter and business forced me into a hotel, residential. Although my staying was due to the circumstances, in general, was a very nice experience.
I choose this place because it is central in Lisbon. One can pick the subway in the Lisbon Airport, and get out in Areeiro, it takes just after a few minutes. Or can use the bus.
I prefer the subway anyways.
Besides the reception which is new. The building, is kind a rustic (construction from the late 40s, 50s and 60s).
Elegant, robust.
Old style and nice cozy hotel. Awesome particularly inside.
Reminds me some old movies.
Also, lots of good, not very expensive restaurants in the nearby.
To the workers: Thanks!

After notifying them about the mistake and that the room didn't match the description and pictures, the guy in the customer service basically said that he didn't write it, so it wasn't his problem - Apparently, then it's the consumer's problem. I was then given a very old and super cold room (due to old windows).
Just a very bad experience and what should have been a relaxed weekend turned into a very bad Friday.
I tried to contact them the next day as I felt (and still feel) entitled to a full refund since they had lied about that they offer on booking.com and I ended up leaving. The answer I got was a recap of what had happened the night before, apart from the fact that non if it was true - They basically wrote to me as if I was stupid and couldn't remember the night before. Why lie to me about what had happened, when I was there and know it's not true?
After I pointed out that their "recap" wasn't true, they never responded again.
