We didn't stay to sleep but hosted an event for our company in their facilities and the service was brilliant. Really good catering, very friendly staff - they were all the time on the top of things. Good location. Very pleased.
As my wife is an IHG rewards member, we often stays at IHG hotels. Intercon Lisbon was great. The location is about 30min (depending on traffic from the airport - for less than 15 EUR with Uber). It is well situated as you are on...More

This was our first trip to Lisbon. The Intercontinental is well located; our room was beautiful; the concierge services were the best. They were able to help us with shopping and eating. Steering us to places the locals love. Large hotels are usually “not our...More
The venue has an unbeatable location. It is a stone throw from the old town, but luckily out of the tourist madness, tucked a bit away from the large Marques de Pombal square across Lisbon iconic park near the Pombal metro station (500m), . Quiet...More

Best way to explore Sintra is to rent a car and drive. If you don’t like to do it take a day tour.
Sevilla is too far away for only 3 days. Getting to know Lisboa will take 2 days and Sintra another one.

Hello.
I stayed there in summer 2017.
The hotel was ok but bit old furnished and old looking .
The rooms at higher floors are much better . be careful not to get the room on the back of the hotel , since there is only one window and the view is not good . We changed for a better room . try to get the ones on the corner of the building facing the park and on the right with the view of the river.
There are no balcony rooms as far as I had searched.
The hotel is very close to the center . it is 5 minutes walking to the Marques the Pombal square from where the most popular street of Liberdade starts . it takes almost 20 minutes to walk down Liberdade ending to the older part of the city and Chiado region. Moreover in the Marques the Pombal you can find the Hop on Hop Off buses and also there is a subway stop.
Room service : I didn't try it , but don't expect too much for the breakfast . the breakfast does not have much variety in comparison with the other 5 star hotels.
Distance from the airport : almost 15-20 minutes. As the other friends said Uber is also provoding good services. And of course you can use the Buses too. The drop off stop is just 200 meter away from the hotel .
For sure you can get around very easily on food . every thing is just nearby on foot and if you wanna go some further distances you can use the public transportation which is quite worthy and efficient .
Don't forget to include Sintra and Caiscas into your program. They are 45 minutes away from Lisbon . It is a must . If you need any information on how to go to Sintra and which attractions to visit , please let me know about it . I would be very happy to be of help .
Meanwhile , I am in Algarve , south part of Portugal . If you are staying for a longer time in Potrtugal , include Algarve in your plan . Its amazingly beautiful . the people are very nice and hospitable and the food is fantastic with amazing beaches.
You can also write to me in case you need any further information .
