The Sheraton Lisboa Hotel & Spa garners praise for its spacious and immaculate rooms, though a few guests suggest the decor could use refreshing. Its prime location near quiet neighborhoods and public transit is a highlight for many travelers, as are the hotel's clean facilities and range of amenities, despite some calls for an executive lounge and softer music in shared spaces.
While the service receives accolades for being attentive, opinions on the hotel's value are mixed, with some guests questioning the cost relative to the benefits received.

Beautiful modern hotel with English speaking helpful staff. Great location we can walk to shops, restaurants & attractions. Ten minute taxi ride from the airport.
Breakfast buffet served daily on the lobby. The meticulous & beautiful display of breads, cereals, fruits, Cheeses, meats, fish, omelette station, fresh juices, hot entrées, pastries and very fancy cappuccino machines took breakfast to the next level. Unlimited drinks just give our room number & an evening happy hour daily from 5 to 7. I'm just thrilled we were able to check in at 7 o'clock in the morning. The spa was very impressive & zen like. The steam room, sauna, fitness rooms, pool, jacuzzi, Spa Café and treatment rooms are available.
Our room was very well equipped with an nespresso machine, electric tea kettle, robes, safe, refrigerator, robes, blackout shades, many plugs & charging outlets, lite magnifying mirror... The a/c cooled quickly & the bed was very comfortable.

Stayed here as a family of four, during a typically sunny hot spell in July, and thoroughly enjoyed it. A good Sheraton always seems like a decent bet for a city break - you know what you are going to get, brand standards are high and usually fully maintained and there is typically a real flavour of the local area to distinguish it from the rest of the chain.
The rooms here are spacious, well appointed and very clean. there are some great views from the higher floors. The outdoor pool is on the roof of a very low-rise part of the hotel, so could have been a bit pokey, but it has been made into a really lovely space. The restaurant and bar are reliable, with a decent spread at breakfast and a simple but quite varied menu of food which is very well prepared and presented.
What makes this hotel, though, is the staff. Without exception they were incredibly friendly, helpful and professional throughout our stay, and it really added something to the experience.
The hotel is located a little way outside the main tourist areas. Buses and metro trains stop nearby though, so it was quite a relief to return here after a day in the busier parts of the city.

Came here in Dec for the holiday with family. The hotel itself is very nice and well maintained. (Interior looks much better than exterior) room is spacious and modern feel. The hotel has an outdoor heated pool which is nice if you are traveling with kids. The hotel is located more in the business district. If you are looking to go shopping on the liberty Ave, it’s not a bad choice since it’s only 15mins walk. However if you are looking to spend time around the Square, which is about 25mins cab ride from the hotel. The Uber and taxi is vey cheap there, a 25mins ride is about 8 euro. I personally doesn’t mind living there. But if you prefers to walking distance to the main tourist area which is in Baixa and Chidao area, you might want to book something closer there. Overall I had a great time staying at the Sheraton.

Let me start by saying this property is heads and toes above anything in the area for price, and the customer service is through the roof. From the front desk person, Armando whom provided top notch service, to the cleaning staff that were thorough and diligent. The restaurant was doubling as the club lounge and the food was excellent, to include the breakfasts daily. The entire staff social distances and the hotel policies are well thought out for your safety and the staff. Though you do miss seeing your favorite staff as they are rotating them due to circumstances, but not once was an interaction subpar. Just a wonderful property, mere blocks away from Freedom Park and the main shopping strip, and across the street from a nice, quaint mall. Cannot say enough about the well run place and friendly staff. I stayed for over three weeks and not one day did I dread going “home” to the place, but enjoyed every day.

While this hotel does exceed the Sheraton standard, it will soon need a little TLC; but it’s truly our experience in dealing with the entire staffing team that raised the rating to five star. We stayed for five nights on Lifetime Platinum points and, although due to a very large convention for the first three days a room upgrade was most understandably not available, the breakfast amenity was the best I’ve experienced and the happy hour and tapas most delightful and unexpected. But truly the entire team deserves praise. The front desk team provided excellent concierge type assistance; housekeeping were efficient and the restaurant staff most professional and friendly in all respects, especially David and Ricardo for dinner (we dined there twice after long tourist-type days). Our thanks to all….Obrigado!

We have stayed at this hotel many times during the last decade.
We have commented the hotel many times during the years. The staff has been changed many times . It is nice to talk to “old” ones sometimes.
The view from the top floor rooms is very nice, the interior style of the room has been kept but sorry to say with a few improvements.
The worst issue which I have taken up here in this forum and also with responsible persons, is the food and its presentation especially at breakfast buffet. It should really be looked at by the responsible persons.
Breakfast buffet: The big verity of cold cuts and cheese is horribly presented. It is just thrown on the plates without any care. The cheese is seldom in order and the way is is presented is really disgusting. The same goes for the cold cuts. Just so messy.
The bacon is very fat and soggy. Not one piece can be found crispy. You can get the bacon crispy but then you have to especially ask for it. The boiled eggs yolk is green, mostly dark green. Does not give you an appetite at all and it looks uneatable. This can easily be solved.
There are many other things that should be improved. The variety is good but the presentation is much below standard for a 4/5 star hotel.
It would not take much effort to improve by having an updated and active management. I have tried so many times and have now given up.
In comparison with other hotels in Lisbon and in e.g. Asia. Sheraton is not on top of any lists.
The Japanese have a slogan that should be the base and it is: it should look good, smell good and taste good. The Sheraton in Lisbon is far away.
However it would not take much effort to improve but then you management must drive the improvement and lead. Important is also to follow up and after that follow up again…. If not there can not be any change and improvement.

It would not be my leisure hotel, but this is an extremely good hotel for a business trip. From the moment you arrive until the moment you leave, you are treated very hospitably. Check-in was quick and smooth. I got a lovely spacious room on the 21st floor. The room had a good bed, and I got the impression that they had recently renovated the bathroom. The hotel had a very good covid protocol, and you felt safe at all times. Due to covid, the restaurant on the top floor was closed, and you could only have a drink there. At the front of the hotel, an outdoor terrace with sand had been made where you could relax for a while. The extensive breakfast buffet was delicious, and there was a chef present to make an egg dish of your choice. A big compliment because I had not eaten such a good omelet in ages. All staff, from front desk to waiter and from the concierge to housekeeping, get a big 10 out of 10!

I stayed in Sheraton Lisboa Room #203 when attending an international conference on 9-11 September, 2022. The hotel would have been lovely; unfortunately, I cannot recommend it because my personal belongings went missing, and shockingly the hotel stopped communicating after initially offering to make good.
After coming back to the hotel from sightseeing on the second day (10 September) I noticed that my personal very soft and expensive Canadian goose down pillow in a silk cover and my nightie were missing from my bed. I alerted the maid whom I found in the hallway. Unfortunately, she could not speak English thus called her manager who was pleasant and able to communicate in English fluently. After I explained that two of my personal items were missing and I suspected the maid of having accidentally put them in the laundry, the manager went away and returned with my nightie shortly after. She could not find my pillow however. I asked about my pillow at the front desk before leaving on 11 September and was promised that they would ask Housekeeping about it. Nobody followed up with me until after I wrote to the hotel myself a couple of days later. An exchange of emails ensued. The hotel were checking with an outside laundry and asked me what they could do to return the pillow to me. I sent them details of all missing items - links to Amazon and The White Company websites with each particular item (a silk cover, a pillow protector and a soft Canadian goose down pillow) and asked whether they'd want my address so they could order the replacements to me or my bank details so that they could transfer the money and I would place the orders myself. Before leaving the hotel, I already had placed an order for a silk cover replacement anticipating that my pillow would have been thrown into the laundry with high temperature water and the silk cover would have been ruined. After receiving these details, the hotel seized communication despite my follow up email. I have now ordered a replacement pillow as well and am out of pocket by over £200. Not something I expected when I checked into this seemingly nice and safe hotel. I travel with an extra soft personal pillow everywhere because I develop neck pains if given a pillow that is not soft enough. However, I have never had any of my pillows or any other personal items disappear from any hotel I have ever stayed in. I understand that human error can happen (though I cannot really comprehend how the maid could have not realised that a nightie and a pillow covered in silk cover instead of a regular cotton cover are personal items). Nevertheless, the way the hotel dealt with the problem by seizing communication is just shocking. AVOID!!!

Being a Marriott Ambassador I have stayed at a number of Marriotts and Sheratons over the years, but never have I experienced the level of service at any hotel, as I received at the Sheraton Lisboa.
I have one word to describe the staff attitude, demeanor and service at this hotel - ‘Excellence’.
Each and every member of the staff was just lovely. They go out of their way to make you feel at home. Whether its the bellman, the front desk, the club lounge or the restaurant they just want to please you.
My trip to Lisbon was truly memorable because of this hotel.
I also need to specially thank Claudia at the front desk who went out of her way to give me a nice suite. Thank you again!
As far as the hotel the location is superb - close to everything. The rooms are well appointed and the club lounge is a beautiful lively place where you can spend time at any time of the day and just put your feet up. I cannot also forget how wonderful and at home the club lounge staff made me feel.
I wish every Marriott and Sheraton hotel could emulate the Sheraton Lisboa. They have really got it right. Yes the location and decor of the hotel matters but with so much choice available it’s the people who set a good hotel apart from a great hotel, and who can make or ruin your stay.
Believe me I will never stay at another hotel in Lisbon and I truly mean that.
Sadly the Sheraton Porto (which ai stayed at right after the Sheraton Lisbon) was a disaster. The worst staff and the worst service in the world. They have literally been trained to misbehave and virtually attack guests. When I complained the manager wouldn’t even speak to me.
