Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travelers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
We paid for a superior twin room located on the 10th floor and enjoyed a large room with a huge balcony (2 chairs and a table + 2 sun chairs). The room is equipped with a small fridge where you can also store your drinks, airco, flat TV on the wall (unfortunately no HDMi entry accessible to connect our iPad). The 2 beds had quite firm mattresses, abit too firm for me. Nice large bathroom with shower in bathtub. The breakfast was included in the rate: the restaurant is a bit dated and the buffet not offering a lot of choices but it was more than enough for us. On the negetive side: the doors of the rooms are super noisy (and some people do not pay attention to this when they come back at night so we were awaken a few times each night thanks to our neighbours) and the hotel does not have a lot of publictransportation nearby (bus stopping at the jail at the top of the street or Marques de PMombal station +/- 800 meters aways if you go through the park ... but coming back is not that easy as the hotel is at the top of the hill so you better have good legs and be fit enough). Nice staff at the reception and in the restaurant, some do even speak French. Be aware that landing planes fly over the hotel, it did not distrub us but some other travellers may find this too noisy.

The location was great for me, but it is not in a touristy area (it was a plus for me). I had the so-called suite overlooking the park with an oversized balcony, and throughout my stay there was no other guest in the floor so it was very quiet. As others have noted, the hotel is on the departure/arrival path of the nearby airport but I didn’t find the noise to be bothersome.
The hotel is a bit outdated but I like it very much and will gladly stay at the same room again.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating!

I checked out at 26 th September in the morning and the reception arranged a taxi for me for airport transportation. The taxi picked me up at 08:50.
The lady driving the taxi left me to the airport, thank for that. But she was not able to conduct an invoice for the taxi, the price was 25 EUR and I paid it in cash. There was no credit - card opportunity.
I gave my name, country and my e-mail address to the lady to send me the invoice via e-mail.
Until yet, 28 September, I haven’t received the invoice. I ask the hotel to coordinate with the taxi company to provide me the invoice in order to reimburse my expense to the Institution where I work. Unfortunately, I haven’t received any response from the hotel Sana Rex.
I still wait for a response.

Photos from Booking.com didn't correspond to the room I stayed in and staff was unable to arrange a proper room or compensate in any way (cash, bar/restaurant credit, discounts on tours etc.) for the inferior experience.
There is a huge column in the middle of room (#408), right in from of the window. The bed is so close to the wall that one could barely pass (this is a safety hazard in case of fire or other incidents, so be aware) and TV is positioned in the corner of the room, right by the entry door (you simply have to lean every time you enter or leave the room). The layout of this room in particular is an absurd.
Walls had several marks. The furniture was also very poor with usage marks and almost every cabinet handle was loose. Found an extra remote control under the bed (how long has it been there?) and a previous guest hand moisturizer under the bed.
This was the worst experience I had in a hotel I had so far. It's bad enough to feel cheated once I got into the room, but it's even worse the fact that I didn't have any assistance from the staff in helping with the situation.
If you're choosing this hotel, at least make sure they can confirm all details about your room in advance. Good luck!

Old hotel but the breakfast buffet was included and it was great! We got spoiled by the buffet breakfast. Location is very nice, safe, quiet, small supermarkets and restaurants around without the noise and crowd of downtown Lisbon. Staff was also pleasant and helpful.

This hotel is situated in the middle of center of Lisbon, we were everywhere in a few time, like 10-30 minutes, of course some places are for longer travel but one hour in capital is great. Hotel is on the top of nature square, we heard birds and saw park and really amazing view. Of course near is aeroport and you can hear some planes but for traveling by aircraft is good for spent more time. We both thank you so much for this trip.

Amazing staying in central Liso. . We spent here three nights, everything was perfect . It is located nearby the park Eduard VII , the staff was very professional and kind . Spacious room with a great view on the ocean and Lisbon skyline. The breakfast was delicious There is a continental breakfast great choice of juices , sandwiches and sweets . The staff here helped us for everything , explaining the main attractions to visit during our staying . We will come back for sure .

The hotel whilst being about clean is absolutely obsolete and the room are way too small. Nearly fell over my bed when I enter the room. Very noisy you can hear every client specially if your room is near the pathetic lift that t take 2 people with no air-con. Services is poor forgot even to do my Room cleaning one day. Bordering friendly for Portugal. Not really cheap for a substandard hotel. Stay clear.

This a basic hotel - no frills. We got a balcony room and, given the tiny size of the actual room, it was nice to have the extra space. It was not possible to sit normally on the toilet, only sideways - we saw the funny side of this, however. The view on Lisbon across the park was lovely, and we did not have any problems with noise, from airplanes, traffic or people. The breakfast downstairs was ok - I always judge by the quality of the bread, and the bread could be better - and it's a 10 mins walk from the metro. If you're spending a lot of time in the old quarters, as we did, it's a bit of a trek in/out each time but we found the metro and Ubers very efficient and we appreciated being in a quieter part of town. You can walk to the Gulbenkian. It would be lovely if they staff had been friendlier and more welcoming. I suppose they must be very overwhelmed by the number of tourists in Lisbon.

Caro viajante alugar um carro sempre é mais cômodo e lhe dá muita liberdade. Fui a Fátima 2 vezes dessa forma. O Sana fica em frente a uma praça onde estacionei o que aluguei, foi super tranquilo.
