The leaf is a small but excellent value with very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is one of the best with great choice. Offers good location, near metro to and from Airport, but is in a quiet location
Stayed here for 4 nights with the girls. Beautiful hotel with friendly staff. Very clean and lovely breakfast. Would definitely stay again. Short walk to metro. Walking distance to tourist attractions also.
Lovely little boutique hotel. Not too far from central Lisbon- I’d say about 10-15 minutes walk… but coming back, it’s all uphill, so beware if you struggle with that. However, being slightly out of the very central areas, it was probably a lot quieter- which we personally appreciated. We had a lovely welcome from the staff there, who were always super friendly. The rooms are functional and very clean, with daily excellent housekeeping. The breakfast is fantastic and always set us up for the day ahead. The shower in our room was very good - but not quite hot enough for us and the room was a little chilly at night. On arrival, we had a thoughtful welcome card and two gorgeous little traditional pastries- absolutely delicious. Overall, while not a large a luxurious hotel, this is a great little place to stay, with fabulous, helpful staff.…
Fabulous new hotel. Staff were all excellent across reception and breakfast. It is a small hotel and the rooms while quite small, are very modern, fresh, clean, new and have everything you need. This includes free coffee and bottled water. The beds were very comfortable and the room also has aircon. The 'leaf' design permeates across the hotel and gives it a very fresh and modern look. They also seem to be very conscious of their eco credentials with even the key card is made from bamboo. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise and they describe it as a 'complete' breakfast. There is no menu so, accompanied by some relaxing background birdsong, they bring you everything. So they give you pancakes (different flavours on different days), eggs, bacon, warm breads, orange juice, fruit pots, yoghurt, ham, cheese and various jams, honey etc as well as endless teas/coffees! It was all served with a smile by a wonderful server. We walked all over town and nothing is too far away but we did use Uber a lot (highly recommended too) - and trips from downtown or the waterfront were rarely over €4 - often less than €3. Would definitely stay here again.…
Rated a 4 for the amazing staff and fantastic breakfast. The room was nice and had a huge shower with great pressure, but had issues. If only housekeeping could be taught to spot and fix issues before a guest. My room safe didn’t work (they fixed it). The shower shelf was coming out of the wall. The tap water had tiny bits of black sediment. Also there were no outlets to plug our devices! They acted surprised when I asked about the issue, which I can’t understand. They brought us an outlet strip and used an outlet a lamp was plugged into. There was a huge book in the room with hotel information but nowhere did it tell you how to reach reception.
The hotel is really nice, clean and in a great location. Staff was absolutely amazing, always smiling and happy to help. Breakfast was included; it was delicious with fresh products and great service at the table. 100% recommend and if in Lisbon again I will go back for sure.
Great little hotel and wonderful staff, nothing is too much trouble. Situated very close to the centre of Lisbon, there is a taxi rank in the adjacent street. We were travelling on to Faro by train early and they packed a breakfast for us which was superb. All rooms are air conditioned and breakfasts are plentiful and varied. Good channels on tv. A quiet hotel and rooms which are well appointed, even if room space is not the priority for some rooms. Would definitely stay here again Cost for taxi to the centre approx 7 euro Thank you for a lovely stay
I just loved this hotel. Staff so friendly and went out of their way at to help you. They assisted me with restaurant bookings, directions and passed on recommendations. Nothing was too much trouble! I really felt the personal touch. The room was fantastic and we got the balcony we requested. I loved the little welcome gift of Portuguese tarts 😊. Breakfast was amazing. There was so much choice and everything was fresh and tasty. They catered for my dietary requirements and the pancakes were a big hit with my daughter. The breakfast setting was so relaxing and the staff were just wonderful and wanted to make sure you were happy. I think this hotel is a little gem and I would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend others to do so!
Great central clean hotel Lovely breakfast Only downside is that we booked a superior double room with balcony and when we arrived they gave us a room with no balcony and said the window was classed as balcony in Portugal!!! They would not give us a discount on a less valuable room There were rooms with walk out balcony’s which i presume they had double booked out and this is what we should have received Apart from that nice hotel
The staff takes care of allergies and vegan at the breakfast. They had breakfast made just for me and my girlfriend. Great cook by the way. :) The rooms were comfy. It was nice to chat with the staff, they give tips on what to visit and when to do so.
