Pleasantly surprised by the overall experience of our 4 night stay. We chose this ibis range for the price obviously and the room was clean, the bathroom in perfect condition (those who frequent hotels in France will understand see clogged drain, scaled shower head...) the bedding in perfect condition and the soundproofing of the perfect bedroom. The hotel is located in the axis of the track, therefore an important detail. Access from the airport is easy by metro. And access to the city at a few stations. The area is uninteresting but the pastry restaurant is worth leaving the hotel for dinner. In short, excellent value for money in my opinion.

The room was clean, as I had requested it was an isolated room and there wasn't much noise (except the planes passing by) but the room was really small, it didn't have a mini bar (?) I don't know if that's normal in the Íbis, but all the hotels I went to, even if they had 2 stars, always had a mini bar, I thought breakfast was very expensive, it should have been included for the price it was. The internet was always failing, I was rarely able to access the internet via the Íbis internet, and when I did access it it was very slow.
The cleaning lady was very friendly and helpful, always responding to requests and was also one of the highlights of my stay.
I consider my experience reasonable because the price I paid for myself is not justifiable taking into account the conditions.

We had a flight cancellation leaving us stranded for 48 hours when every hotel in the city was booked due to conferences. We were able to make a daytime reservation from 11:00 to 18:00 allowing us to shower and rest after a night stuck at the airport before heading back to catch our replacement flight. Excellent staff who were friendly and helpful.

During my first trip to Lisbon, I chose to stay at the IBIS hotel due to its proximity and affordability, and it was a decision we did not regret. Just a short drive from the airport, this hotel provided a wonderful stay experience. The check-in process was fast, and the rooms, while basic, offered all the necessary features for a short stay. The hotel was clean and provided a cool escape from the summer heat.
The buffet breakfast on the lower floor, with wide windows offering a pleasant view, was a highlight. Additionally, vending machines in the lobby catered to basic beverage needs. The hotel's location was convenient, a brief ride from downtown, and surrounded by clean and safe open areas for leisurely strolls.
Despite planes passing overhead, the atmosphere at the hotel remained peaceful and charming. I would recommend this place for both business and leisure trips, as it offers a comfortable and enjoyable stay experience.

I spent three nights at the hotel at the end of March 2023. I paid a reasonable price and arrived there around noon. At first I asked for a room facing the back of the hotel, but as it turned out to be noisy I had it changed to a room facing the street. The hotel is situated in a business area and the street is very quiet in the evening, so one would sleep well if what they promise really existed. I am refering to the standard ibis policy, promising air condition and not providing any. I have been reading this complaint by lots of people for years, I was hoping that I wouldn't have any problem because end of March the weather is still cold, but unfortunately I was wrong. The weather was very hot, I wore cotton trousers and a t-shirt all day, the room was very hot, I slept and woke up many times through the night, and it was one of the worst stays of my life.
Apart from that, the computer available for use by the guests wasn't working, because it was supposed to have presented a problem "exactly" that morning, and they were "about to fix it ", which never happened the three days I was there. The staff was doing their best but they couldn't help providing us with lies and bad excuses, since those were the orders they had.
There was something very strange with the wifi in my room. There was no wifi when I sat on the table behind the large open window, facing the big street, trying to use my tablet. No sign at all. As I took the tablet and walked towards the door I saw that I did had wifi sign in my room corridor, even inside the toilet and inside the lift. Thank God there was wifi sign in the lobby and I managed to use it. In short that was the third and last time that I visited not just this hotel, but the ibis hotels in general, and maybe the accor hotels in general. There is a great selection of hotels that respect their clientelle, and one can always find an accomodation of good quality, rather than tolerate bad behaviour.

Conveniently located hotel. From the airport you can reach it with a metro change: red line to S. Sebastao and then blue line (just one stop) with descent to praca de espana. Close to nova university and Enrico park.

Friendly staff.

Clean rooms, ibis quality. Very convenient bar open 24 hours for snacks and drinks.

Also, I strongly Recommendation to take breakfast. For only 9.5€ you have access to an excellent sweet and savoury buffet (pasteis de nata, crossant, cold cuts, cheeses, scrambled eggs, express pancakes, freshly squeezed orange juice with the special citrus juices available.)

Lo consiglio!

I have stayed 4 nights and will not recommend this hotel if you have other choices. It is not closed to the city centre but is still convenient to take metro which is just few mimutes walk and Uber is not expensive in the city. I received very warm welcome from the manager which I thought it was a good start of the stay. However, I will not give high ratings due to the below reasons,

1) Poor sound insulation and very noisy every morning if someones are moving out
2) Water pressure in bath is weak
3) Flush was out of order for twice
4) Breakfast place is a bit dirty
5) Poor serivce from a male staff at reception. One day I asked this staff to help me to make a phone call to a local rental company but he rejected saying that the phone no. is a voice recording number so he cannot help. I did not understand but did not want to waste time on questioning so I just emailed to solve my problem. The next day I tried tp check the flush's repair status from the same guy as I was not sure it was the right time to go back to the room, the guy just told me he did not know and was not willing to check for me. The reply was totally unaccpetable! How could a customer know the situation if the staff did not know and did not check? I showed my anger and he then checked for me and the repair work had been done.

For the above poor service, I hope the management would take note and improve the service standard from the front desk.

Nestled off Liberdade this hotel provided a comfortable bed and breakfast. The convenient location was adjacent to Kung Edward VII Park and the downtown area which we walked to and enjoyed the cafes on the side street.
Shopping was convenient and so were the trains.

Great staff. Sad patio/terrace. It's on an airport flight path (inbound and outbound), so it is a very noisy area, especially if you're facing the street. Closing the windows helps, but there was no A/C to speak of, so on a warm night you had to choose between fresh air and noise, or a stuffy, hot room and quiet. Odd shower with precarious step up/down. Small paper cups for water (instead of a glass). Close enough to metro Praca Espanha. The hotel meets basic needs, but that's about it.

I stayed here with my husband and 12 year old daughter for two nights in March. We previously stayed at the Corinthia a few blocks away but it was too expensive this time. We had a room on the 9th floor. Check in was smooth and reception staff were welcoming. The room obviously was very small especially with the third bed for the daughter, but it’s fine if you don’t intend to spend much time in it. It was clean and functional. No safe or fridge or kettle. Bed was firm but comfortable and our request for extra pillows was fulfilled immediately. Breakfast is a simple continental affair. The hotel is situated near the zoo close to metro stops so is easy to access from the airport or train station and a few stops away from the old town. A day metro ticket is about €6 and that will take you to/from the airport. Plenty of shops bars and restaurants close by. Our room was quiet apart from the planes going overhead which stop at night. We found our room to be too hot, but maybe that’s because we’re British! Overall a good stay, thank you.

Hello, you can include as you wish, daily prices in Europe are almost always shown without breakfast. In this case of the Ibis J. Malhoa I asked to include, it was very cheap and the quality of what was offered to me was great. Worth it.
