My wife and I stayed at this hotel from November 1st through 4th 2006. The hotel is typical of Ibis and of European Hotels in general for this price range. The rooms are small but practical and they are clean and reasonably appointed. Although we...More
I stayed in a twin share for 3 nights ... good sized room, no coffee/tea making facilities, clean bathroom, easy parking out the front. We had breakfast at the hotel each day and it was a good range of cereals, breads, ham/cheese and even very...More
Hotel was good value for money and the staff were friendly. Rooms were on the small side even for an Ibis hotel. Ok for an overnight stay but you might want to look for a larger room if staying any longer.
I was recommended the IBIS, after walking out of a previously booked hotel, by a friend who lives in Lisbon. The location is not central to downtown, but it is not far either and has great Metro connections and a shopping mall just two blocks...More
Located between the Airport and the centre of Lisbon this hotel is easy to find and well served by many bus routes, including the AeroBus. It's typical Ibis - what you see is what you get. It's good value and convenient - which is what...More

It is not too far and we did walk there but based on our experience I don't recommend walking that distance as you don't see much, get tired of walking for about 40 minutes and then, more walking expects you if you want to enjoy looking around Bairro Alto, etc. I suggest you take a taxi there. It is not too expensive and then you are fresh to walk around. If then, you really are still in the mood for a long walk, you can walk back up.
We liked it but after 2 days of walking everywhere, it was not really a good idea walking that distance to the hotel. Inquire about the price of a taxi and then decide. Have a good trip.
