Stayed here for two nights while visiting Lisbon. This hotel is in a very nice area of Lisbon. The area is modeled after Paris and has all the high end shops on the Avenida Da Liberdade - Gucci, MK, Mont Blanc etc. Our room was clean and well done. Bathroom was good, excellent water pressure and nice toiletries. Very quiet for sleeping. Good selection of TV stations in numerous languages so you can keep up with News and weather. Breakfast was good - fresh buffet style, however will make eggs to order - just ask. Would recommend if staying in Lisbon and want to be a bit outside the tourist ciaos. Walk 2-3 minutes and you are back in the thick of the tourist area.

Have stayed there some years ago (pre-pandemic) and for the most part enjoyed the stay. However, the stay there this time was wonderful. Booked a suite with a sofa that folded out to a bed. Couldn't tell the difference between this sofa bed and a regular bed. Super comfortable. Room was spacious enough for us. I asked the staff to arrange a wheelchair for a day trip to Fatima. The hotel had one available for us to use, free of charge. Staff was great, no noise issues, very good breakfast. Will definitely return.

I spent three nights here in early October. I was in a suite on the 9th floor which was quite spacious and had a large terrace. The hotel is very well located. Breakfast in the hotel is excellent. Hotel staff were always available and helpful.

Chose Sofitel for our romantic trip to Lisbon. The Hotel is in a great location for exploring the city and was our lil Haven for the week. Excellent hotel in a great location (lots of shops etc around), excellent staff both at the bar and restaurant. The Matiz restaurant was very good despite some poor reviews. The rack of lamb was excellent as was the fish stew. The breakfast buffet was very good.

Sofitel is situated on ave. Liberadade. We selected it for its location and proximity to the castle, downtown and alfama. If you are a young family and need a bit of white then this place is great! If you want to be in the middle of the hustle and bustle then select a hotel in midtown. Pros:- - location - Close to metro, train station Rossio with trains to Sintra. - staff - extremely friendly (ask for Andre) -they make it fun for the kids by giving them little activities to do. Cons- - only one restaurant on site. - Cost really but you are paying for the luxury of the branded hotel but it was worth it for us.

I cannot recommend the Sofitel enough. Firstly, it is perfectly located on the main beautiful street of the city center Liberdade. It is easy to walk anywhere and it is beautifully maintained and feels luxurious. The rooms are a great size especially for Europe and they are clean and feel new. The bed is actually the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. The shower is very large. The lobby, bar and restaurant are beautiful and the breakfast is vast, fresh and plentiful. This is a very classy hotel and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

The service standats and the attidude of the staff at this hotel are low and are a scare on the Sofitel brand name. This is true even to management: Both duty manager Ines Bonito and George, the Reception manager, were extremly unprofessional, rude and hostil when dealing with a problem we had with the bed in our room, which caused us to stay awake all night long! Stay away from this terrible and unprofessional hotel, staff and management.

The staff are very friendly and helpful here, we enjoyed our stay. Our room had a separate sitting area and two full bathrooms. The bed was very comfortable with a down bed topper. I think the hotel is a little dated in decor but the experience was very good. The location is excellent, close to the train station but on a quieter part of the street. The hotel is surrounded by high end shopping and walking distance to everything. Lisbon is very safe to walk around but it’s hilly so bring good shoes.
