The Radisson Blu Hotel garners appreciation for its strategic location near the airport and public transport, yet some guests find the breakfast choices wanting. While many commend the hotel's cleanliness, opinions on the service range from highly professional to disappointingly subpar. The atmosphere is often described as outdated, with a need for modernizing the dark and dated furniture.
Noise from airplanes and neighboring rooms frequently disrupts the peace due to poor soundproofing. Despite the spaciousness of the rooms, the overall value is questioned by guests who expect more for their money, with some also noting the need for amenity updates.

Detailed Reviews
Location:
The location of Radisson Blu Lisboa is quite convenient, situated near the Campo Grande metro station. This makes it easy to access various parts of the city and explore Lisbon without much hassle.
Reception Staff:
The reception staff needs significant improvement. Upon arrival, I had to wait for 2 hours for my room to be ready, which was quite frustrating. This lack of efficiency and organization left a bad first impression and set a negative tone for the rest of my stay.
Room:
The room itself was a redeeming feature of my stay. It was spacious and comfortable, providing a relaxing environment after a long day of exploring the city. The amenities were up to standard, and I had no issues with cleanliness or maintenance.
Breakfast:
The breakfast was satisfactory, with a decent selection of items. However, there is definitely room for improvement in terms of variety. A broader selection would enhance the overall breakfast experience and cater to different preferences and dietary needs.
Overall:
Radisson Blu Lisboa has potential, but it falls short in some critical areas, particularly with the reception staff. The convenient location and comfortable rooms are strong points, but the wait time for room availability and the limited breakfast variety need addressing. With some improvements, this hotel could offer a much better experience for its guests.

I stayed here for a night between flights to and fro from lisbon…its only 6 minutes by taxi which is perfect, we asked for a late check out and the staff was more than happy to oblige. The staff in general was great and very polite. The breakfast was nothing short of great, i have stayed in many hotels in lisbon before and i must say this was the hotel where i thought i had the best breakfast in terms of quality of produce and choice. This property is worth the money that it charges my only grievance is that it’s a bit outdated and needs to modernise! All in all great probably will stay again.

Excellent hotel with very good services and nice Ambiente.
The rooms are very well isolated to the outside, you don't hear the planes flying nearby. But to the inside the rooms are not isolated at all, that's the only big minus for somebody who's not sleeping deep

Incompetent hotel. If you're American, they'll stick you on the road side with the highway traffic by the hotel. Not a convenient location at all. Front desk deals with unsatisfied customers in this way: " perhaps we can do something for you on your next stay with us". As if! Never staying there again! Snarky front desk agents that talk down to you. I asked if they have a bottled water or a drink machine and they all laughed at me and for some reason Proudly said "no". Well excuse me, I just got off a 10 hour flight, I drink water several times a day!!! Idiots. Two bottles of water (because there are no stores nearby) at the bar: $8.80 Euro's. Outright thievery. How do you check someone into a room where the key/lock 's batteries are dead and do not fix that??? Still scratching on the back of my legs from their bedding. Way too much furniture in the room makes it extremely difficult to walk around the room. Shabby furniture that is torn up with the padding sticking out, unclean bathrooms, what a joy.

I was in transit through the city in the month of May and stayed with my family in this hotel. I booked a Family Suite and it was in very good condition. Very comfortable mattresses, bathtub, TV, very good equipment. The minibar had what we needed and the reception staff were very attentive, they gave us the necessary instructions, they even have a private transfer service to the airport. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Radisson ought to be embarrassed by the condition of this hotel. I spend approximately 20-30 days annually in their hotels for business, and this is by far the worst one I've encountered.
The hotel's general cleanliness is far below expectations, it has poor sound insulation, and the staff appears both unmotivated and overworked.

If you are looking for a 4/5 star experience please do not book this hotel. From the outside looking in, it appears to be a wonderful hotel with its marble and stone designs at reception and the bars. The rooms however are outdated, it felt like they were stuck in the 1980s. The house keeping do not dust the rooms, they make the beds and raplace your towels but they will not replenish amenities even sugar and coffee. The gym is small, two people max would feel comfortable exercising in the space. Don’t even bother ordering room service, the food will arrive cold. That’s if your phone will work for you to even place the order in the first place. The staff are friendly but you might need to repeat yourself quite a lot. Check the water before unpacking, the colour can be murky brown. This means you will need to move or will be asked to try and resolve it yourself.

Had a wonderful stay with our family. We stayed 3 nights in a family room with 5 people. We had breakfast, an excellent buffet with lots of choice. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the metro station and with a day ticket you can travel unlimitedly to the city and back for €7. Shuttle to the airport was well arranged, staff was very helpful.

Don't go here!! The hospitality is really not good at all and the staff yell at you if you ask normal questions. No service is provided and they are really not willing to help you if you have a problem. We got a smaller room than we booked and when we asked to change rooms we were shouted at!! I've really never experienced that. On the corridors there are many young people who make a lot of noise and shout loudly, which also does not ensure a good night's sleep. We were also stuck in the elevator! The hotel is not well maintained and the service is very poor. Don't come here!

I stay in Radisson’s a lot and usually they are of high standard.
I asked for a quiet room on check-in. I was given one on the eighth floor, the aircraft noise would have made it impossible to sleep. I returned and asked for quiet room but was told the hotel was full though they did eventually give me a room on the fourth floor. This was somewhat quieter but the aircraft noise made it impossible to sleep. The windows are a really narrow double glaze and useless for sound proofing.
Lisbon airport is only 2.9 km away and aircraft fly up to midnight and then began at 5:30am.
There is no shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel, so we took a taxi which cost €24:50. There is a shuttle bus from Hotel to airport but it only goes once an hour.
Carpets in communal areas are very worn and sometimes dirty.
I tried to make a cup of tea in my room, themilk was sour.

A little too late to answer.
In any case, I always use UBER in Portugal.
I don’t know. You would. Need to check with the hotel
It’s less than 10 euros to the airport. Go when you want to.
If I remember correctly the answer is no . This is a very 1980 hotel - it is not of the same standard as other hotels in the chain. I would not stay there again.
