I was at Vip Executive Picoas Hotel this week and I got a nice surprise. Very friendly reception staff, excellent cleanliness and facilities in perfect condition. The room has personal hygiene products, a bottle of water every day, a coffee maker and its coffee capsules, and a kettle if you want an infusion. The bed and bathroom linens were impeccable. A ten and I would repeat without thinking about it.

Stayed here for 4 nights on a solo trip to the city. Beautiful hotel throughout-everything about it suggests luxury! The room was a good size for myself and was equipped with a kettle, coffee maker and a small fridge/minibar. I also loved the bath-very deep, so might not suit someone with limited mobility but for me, it was very welcome after a long day out exploring. The bathroom also had a good selection of toiletries as well (which smelled absolutely beautiful). On checking into my room, there was a couple of mini pastel de nata-delicious! The hotel has a couple of metro stations nearby so easy to reach the city centre and beyond, and also has a grocery shop next door. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lisbon.

The initial welcome from Pedro Luis on Reception exemplified the excellent service we received throughout our stay. We had arrived slightly early and whilst we were having lunch in the restaurant he came to find us to let us know the room was ready and our cases had been taken up. Both the public areas and our bedroom were kept immaculately clean and a special mention has to be made of Paulo and his team in the restaurant who went the extra mile to make our evening dinners a highlight of the day. On the same floor as the resturant is an outside terrace area where it was very pleasant to have drinks after a day's sightseeing. Getting into the heart of the city is easy with 3 metro stations within a matter of a few minutes walk. We all felt the choice of hotel had contributed significantly to the enjoyment of our stay in Lisbon and I would heartily recommend it to anyone thinking of visiting the city.

The location of hotel is very good, two supermarkets are within spitting distance of the hotel, also lots of restaurants nearby. The room is very clean with all necessary things, a wide variety of breakfasts with smoked salmon and other delicious hot & cold foods, and fresh fruits. Highly recommend this hotel.

We were pleasantly surprised from the moment we walked into our room! The accommodation was beautiful, very clean, great amenities, and they even gave (we think) complimentary fruit and wine! The washroom had a nice soaker tub, great shower head, ample towels, and a bidet that was appreciated. They gave bottled water (might have cost $$, not sure) but not necessary since the tap water is great here.
If you feel safe taking public transportation in Lisbon, this location is great for that too. There is also a large grocery store next door.
They kindly stored our luggage for us because we wanted to do a couple things after checkout. The location is very good (try the Rice Me restaurant nearby!), and not too far from the airport.
The only complaint that we would have is that they only allow check-in till midnight. Following a delayed flight, we made it with only ten minutes to spare. They need to realize that customs is very slow these days and flights get delayed. They should offer checkin anytime, not just till midnight. That deadline caused us a lot of needless stress for us, especially given that the Uber system at the Lisbon airport is the worst I’ve ever seen (zero signage, and unclear pickup location). If the hotel offered an airport shuttle that would have helped immensely.
Small thing, but it was also unclear as to what was included and what wasn’t. They put two bottles of wine out on the counter, which we assumed were free, along with the fruit. But there was more wine and liquor in the mini fridge. We didn’t have any, but assumed it wasn’t free – though no pricing was apparent. They should give some clarity on that.

I spent a beautiful long weekend in Lisbon, and this hotel welcomed us in the best way. I thought I had already reviewed, but only today, I realize I hadn't! However, lovely place, friendly and always helpful staff. Modern, clean rooms with all comforts. Very rich and delicious breakfast. Every morning I could enjoy the super good pastei de nata which I was fond of and which seemed freshly baked. There was really everything, a lunch buffet rather than breakfast. Perhaps the best hotel among those that welcomed me in recent trips. Nothing to complain about. Ah, they also solved an entire day for us. It was raining, we wanted to go to Belem, but it was a long way (about 55 minutes) and I couldn't figure out which route to take. I asked for a couple of info and in the end we understood that we could have done it by simply taking a taxi. We spent 26 euros to do: Hotel-Belem monastery, Belem-Belem tower, and finally Belem-Hotel. The money best spent for a day that would otherwise have been tiring and full of unexpected events. If you happen to be tired or simply for a day, you don't want to bother too much, take taxis without fear, they are cheap, safe and comfortable. Thanks Picoas.

Flying into Lisbon from the States on a red-eye flight, imagine our joy when we arrived at VIP Executive Picoas to drop off our luggage, and the staff offered us our room in the morning. We were beyond grateful to be able to slump down into bed, loss conscious for a few hours, then wake up and refresh ourselves before heading out to explore. It meant a day of bright-eyed wonder instead of groggy zombieism.
The location is great, right by an Aldi and a Pigo Doce, so it's easy to get fresh orange juice (you must try the fresh orange juice from the machines) and water, as well as snacks for souvenirs. There are also several excellent bakeries for breakfast and an UN representation of restaurants. There's even a Thai massage place nearby. The hotel is mere minutes walk away from two metro stations, making it easier to reach destinations on different metro lines without having to change trains. There is parking space in front of the hotel, making it easy for Uber pick up.
While the lobby has a dated look, the room is updated for our wired lives. There are plentiful outlets as well as charging stations by the bedside. Our room comes with a mini fridge, electric kettle and coffee maker. A light automatically turns on inside the closet when you open it.
When our lovely trip was unfortunately cut short due to a family death, the hotel was nice enough to reimburse part of our stay. Thank you so much.
Definitely would consider staying in this hotel again on future visits.

Check in was easy. We appreciated the doorman helping us. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, even with bathrobes, a wardrobe, a rain shower, and an electric kettle. Housekeeping brought us water, tea, and instant coffee each day. There are little sitting areas and interesting decorations on each floor. We paid for breakfast one day (15 Euros each) and it was very good. Lots of cafes nearby and a fun souvenir store. The metro was easy and close by. There’s a grocery store with a great bakery close by as well as a pharmacy. We were very glad we chose this hotel. The only small complaint was weak Internet the day before we checked out (Friday).

The hotel is very close to the metro and about 25 mins away by taxi from the airport. Check in was quick and always very informative. All staff attending the reception were very helpful. Room was always exceptional clean. Breakfast is a must. Food was always fresh and if you wish to be in a calm environment, I recommend to be there before 8.30 as it can turn out very busy. The staff attending the breakfast were always very polite and welcoming. Well done to all . Thank you.

We have booked 4 rooms weeks in advance. We have been discussing some details over email like whether we want breakfast, but when they were all set and we have emphasized how and why details are important.
Now just before the arrival, when we tried to double-check on reservation we received reply that it was in fact not confirmed (as if all the emails were null and void) and the hotel is already booked to the capacity. If they were unsure whether we confirm the conditions they could have call or email us but chose not to.
Do not try and be nice and deal with them directly - at first we were offered price that was worse than advertised on portals and finally they turned out to be either negligent to forget to book us or just resold our rooms when price hike begun and weren't force to keep their obligation.
Horrible experience, do not recommend if you want to have a worry-free family holiday.
