Almaria Oficina is a wonderful, spotlessly clean serviced apartment in the heart of Chiado in Lisbon. The apartment was well stocked with all the essentials including an assortment of complimentary food items and beverages. The concierges we're incredibly helpful with sightseeing tips, directions and transportation. They are on duty daily from 9 a - 6 p and available by phone at all other times. I highly recommend this property and would stay again if I am ever in Lisbon again.
A geat location, clean and quiet apartment with lots of space. Seperate bedroom and living area, lots of natural light and double glazed windows so no noise despite the excellent location. Highly recommend.
Customer service terrible and won’t respond! After weeks of trying to contact to rearrange or refund our stay due to local coronavirus restrictions and still no contact from the apartments team. We were due to stay in April 2020 and then it became obvious this wouldn’t happen, we rearranged our booking to April 2021. Cut to March 2021 and with restrictions on holiday travel still in place we enquired with the team to again postpone or refund our money (paid through booking.com). No response over email for over a month, called a number of times during the weeks and days before the booking began to try and explain the situation but still no response (the phone was not picked up). Have sent messages through the website/social media and continued to call again with no response. We were still very keen to visit (when allowed by the UK’s travel laws) and simply postpone the booking but after the terrible customer service we don’t know what to do! Please respond with a contact number/email (who actually will speak to us) or respond to one of our many emails!…
Helpful, kind staff combined with a comfortable spacious apartment helped us make the most of a short break. The apartment had everything we needed in it and although the street outside was noisy (tram 28 route) the shutters shut out most of the noise at night. Super king size bed was very comfortable. Daily cleaning was very efficient and having fresh rolls and croissants delivered every morning made a brilliant start to the day. The fridge was topped up with milk, butter, jam and oranges every day. Short walk to tram stops and Baixa Chiado metro so easy to get around. Had a great holiday!
Loved this place. In the heart of the old town, trams passing outside and within walking distance of all the main sights. The decor inside was tasteful, a perfect mix of old and new. Check in was smooth and staff very helpful. Loved the little treats that arrived in the morning. We were in apartment 1A
This place is fabulous. Everything you could need - squeaky clean and bright kitchen with the works ( including dishwasher and washing machine ), lovely living area, very comfortable big bed and warm as toast (we went in January). The double glazing is excellent so no annoying noise even though it's in the middle of a busy restaurant and bar area. The staff are delightful - can't do enough for you. Airport connections they arranged worked smoothly. Complete rebuild 2 years ago - everything is spanking clean with just enough history maintained in the old stonework - it used to be the Royal Cutlery works apparently. An array of big windows look out on a lively street - even the famous 28 tram goes right past, and you can reach just about everything in Lisbon on foot - and what a great place to walk around -we absolutely loved it and the people. Fantastic mini supermarket over the road - great bakery, cooked hot food, booze etc. N.B. If you like a thin pillow, bring your own - the apartment ones are really plump.…
We spent 5 days in this central and charming place. These apartments are completely furnished, included a washer dryer and a dishwasher. The place is clean and comfortable. Every morning the staff leaves fresh croissant and bread at the doorstep In the fridge there’s a “welcome kit”.
What a great find! The rooms were bright, super-comfortable and clean, with tasteful decor and high-end fixtures and appliances (and OH the shower!!). There's coffee and milk, and they leave bread and a croissant on your door in the morning. The location is perfect - right in the heart of everything in Lisbon, and close to metro and streetcar stops. A great place for a few nights in Lisbon.
Wow! We were so happy with this apartment. Spacious, modern and fresh smack in the middle of Bairro Alto. Also our receptionist/host was so accommodating and nice. Every day we put a bag out in front of our door and they fill it with fresh croissants and rolls in the morning. In the fridge they refill with oranges so you can squeeze your own juice in the morning. Also, even though it is noisy outside, we didn’t have any issues with noise in the apartment.
The location could not have been better for exploring old town. The #28 trolley stops right in front of the building and the metro is only a 5 minute walk. We had apartment 1c which was clean and spacious. Bread is delivered to the apartment every morning free of charge. There is an elevator in the building so you don’t have to haul luggage up the narrow staircase. The apartments are on a busy street but the windows do a excellent job muffling the sound.
